Didymus sat on the edge of the tunnel after Zekke had gone down.
She pushed her self forward and began sliding down the tunnel,she couldn't help but laugh.
When she reached the bottom she stood up and waited for the rest of the class.

"I will be second!" Nadia says getting in line just behind Zekke. While she waited she muttered, "Wow, this is a life-time chance! We are so lucky! I won't be worried only... " ¨*frown* "Well, Harry Potter got to care about the Basilisk, but I also heard part of the chamber was destroyed when he and Gilderoy Lockhart enterd the chamber... there is not chance the roof fell and we get -" *gulp* "crushed beneath, right?"

She saw Zekke already went down and said, "uh, never mind: you can answer me when we are down -GERONIMO!"

* she quickly tucked in her robes and looked into the gloomy smelly tunnel* Oh look out bellow please I don't want to hit anyone on the bottom!. * she called out * "Lumos!" Her wand lite and she jumped down inside and slide until hit the bottom* " ouch" * the bottom still had it's hard rocky bottom and bone litterd floor.

"Whoops, careful there. There's a patch of rocks to the left of the bottom of the tunnel." He gestured with his lit wand to the patch of rocks and and... bones... littering part of the end of the slide they had slid down on.

Claire went after M.Mcgonagal01...
"whoaa...." she said all the way down til she hit the bottom."Awesome!!"

He turned to Nadia. "I'm not too concerned with a cave-in. Just... don't do any exploding charms in here and I think we'll be fine." The place felt solid enough, but he knew a wrong hit could cause problems.

" wish I could clean this place up a bit take the rocks and bones out." she whipsered " good slide dobby" she said and smiled.

"Thanks" Claire replied. "It is a bit filthy down here, must be from all those years of sewage."

" I would like to clean this place up a bit with a good vanishing spell, of evanesco, but I think we best leave it to the Professor, It might be needed for historical records." She said looking concerned, but then smiled.

"Indeed, this is not the place for a Blasting Charm," she responded looking around. It was no more thn a common cave, it seemed, and it was indeed full of bones, rocks and what she thought was dried epidermis.

"This must be the passageway to the actual Chamber, right? The Chamber where the monster was held and the statue of Salazar Slytherin face should be before us. I just hope the cave in hadn't turned this into a giant maze..." Nadia said walking forwards to see if she get to see anything before her.

" I cant really see much ahead but it seems to me that the passage ahead is clear, professor?" " that must have bee the way Ronald weasly and lockhart traveled to the inside, yes?" She said glaring into the darkness only lite by the students wands.

"I wouldn't wander too far off if I were you." Zekke waved his wand in the general direction of the passageways. "It doesn't look like a great place to get lost in..."

Professor Lainey followed the last of her students down the winding tunnel. She reached the bottom, and found her class already exploring a bit. "It's fascinating isn't it? The Chamber here is located directly under the lake. After you have had a good look around, we'll move deeper in. I want you all to see the whole thing." Professor Lainey swung her wand around, and yelled, "Lumos Maxima" and many torches lit up along the tunnel. "Feel free to wonder around a bit. Please be careful though, I don't want to have to send anyone to Nurse Nessa just yet. And don't venture off too far from me.."

He couldn't help but bend down to pick up some bone and what looked to be a bit of... epidermis. He put it back down and picked up some rocks and just generally poked around carefully.

He had something to ask their professor, but he would ask before they left.

Didymus wandered around,she moved her wand infront of her so that she could get a better look at the surroundings.

He held his wand up to the ceiling and observed the way the ceiling looked. Seeing interesting patterns, he dug into his robe and pulled out a small notebook and miniature quill so he could draw some sketches.

Seeing everyone else walking off, he walked over to their professor and lowered his voice.

"Since the basilisk was killed in the Chamber, its remains might still be around, right? This might sound peculiar to ask, but if I see items like bones or scales or a tooth... might I keep a bit of them?"

He had quite an assortment of random magical objects and artifacts such as these were extraordinarily intriguing to him.

*She looked around and walked on a bit it was very interesting and must have took a while to bulid*
"Proffesor did Salazar Slytherin build this himself?" she asked "How long did it take around about to builld?" she asked fasinated by it all.

"I would think he used magic to do it ya know... its soo.... beutiful, I imagine how it must of looked when it was first build by him."

She didn't move more then a couple steps from the professor, when suddenly, using her wand like a muggle flashlight as she had been doing, became slightly nervous again. The puddles of water on the floor made funny reflections on the walls from the torch light. Some of the water had an oily gleam to it, and then she saw a great carved statue of a snake, it's fangs out in pose. It gave her chills.

"Ever since he had that argument with the other Heads about allowing Muggle-born students into the school, it's feasible he started to build the Chamber and he continued until he left the school." He paused in thought.

"But I don't know how long that was." He looked at their professor for her answer.

* walks around, runing her hand along the wall.*This is incredible.

Professor Lainey smiled down at Zekke, then whispered to him, "Of course you can keep some things. It's doing nothing down here but rotting, so be my guest." Professor Lainey then floated among the students smiling as they all seemed to be enjoying themselves, "Well, kim felton, I'm sure many House Elves were involved in the building of the Chamber, but Salazar was also a very hard worker, so I'm sure he put his fair share of work in." Professor Lainey paused to listen to Zekke, "Yes, I'd have to agree, I'm sure this magnificent Chamber wasn't built over night..:

*Walks around and looks at all the sculptures and carvings* There isn't a basilisk here is there?

Professor Lainey raised her eyebrows, "Um..no. The basilisk was taken care of many years ago. Alright class, once you've finished up, if you'll follow me. Just wait until we get into the actual Chamber...you all are going to love it. It's fantastic! This is still just the outskirts of it...So...if you will, follow me." Professor Lainey led them down the dark dingy tunnel, sculptures of snakes lining it, and to a huge doorway. She asked a few of the boys of the class to swing the doors open, and they revealed a magnificent Chamber. The Statue of Salazar himself, standing tall in the middle of the space. "Welcome class, to the Chamber of Secrets!"

"This first part is all demolished," Nadia observed looking around. "Think it was the cave-in in Harry Potter's time... Is the rest of the Chamber destroyed too?" Nadia bent down and picked what looked like a Basilisk fang herself.
