Professor Lainey unlocked her door and swept all the desks to the edge of the room. The students wouldn't be needing them for this lesson, because Professor Lainey had something really special planned for them today. She put a message on the board, "Do not unpack your bags or things, for you won't be needing them today. Please take a seat on the floor and wait for everyone to arrive." Then she went and waited anxiously for her class to arrive by the door. |
Didymus entered the classroom and looked around surprised. She read what was written on the board and narrowed her eyebrows in confusion as she sat down on the floor. |
Nadia passed the notice and titled her head and then went to the classroom to wait as told, and she said out loud, "I wondr, are we making one of those guided walk abouts around Hogwarts? We had one lsat year but didn't get to cover half of what the castle has to offer, to my belief... so it could become in handy." |
*Walks up to the class and reads the note she sits on the floor and waits for more people to come* "Wonder what were doing?" she pondered |
"Wow, this could be interesting." says Serena as she takes a seat on the floor with the others. |
Professor Lainey smiled down at the few students that had arrived, then replied, "Just sit tight. I want to wait for a few more to arrive before we start. I promise today's lesson won't be a let down." She gave them all a mysterious little grin, then looked back to the door for new arrivals. |
*Cordelia walked into the room, almost ready to open up her bag, when she read the board. "Wonder what's up." *She smiled hello to Professor Lainey and went to take a seat. |
Claire came in and took a seat up close. "I wounder what we are doing today" |
Aschere walked into class and gave the professor a smile. Then, noticing the class rather - spacey, what with the desks against the walls, she stopped for a minute. Reading what was written on the blackboard, she grinned widely, walked to the centre of the classroom and sat down comfortably on the floor. |
"Well, we'll wait a few more minutes, but I want you all to line up single file. We won't be having class in the classroom today, so take everything with you. Since you all are here a bit early, I'll give you all a little clue as to what we're doing today....let's just say we'll be headed down to the second floor for a little investigating.."Professor Lainey gave them another grin then helped form a line at the door. |
*Cordelia stood in the very front of the line, waiting for all others to form a line behind her. "Sounds really mysterious, professor." |
Nadia's eye brightend and widened, "The Chamber of Secret," she said out loud before she could stop herself. She then turned to the professor, "Are we? I mean, the only thing that there is in the second floor is Moaning Myrtle's Bathroom -- well, that and the Headmaster and DADA professor's offices, but that's nothing out of the ordinary, is it? "I can't believe it! This will so great!" |
Didymus stood up and took a place in the line. She overheard the eager Slytherin's comment and smiled,this lesson seemed like it would be a one to remember. |
Kay gets in line with the other students. She hears Nadia's comment. "Whatever it is, it's going to be great!" |
Zekke was rather excited about this prospect. He lined up with everyone else as well. |
"Cool!" She lines up behind her other classmates |
Professor Lainey's eyes flashed towards Nadia, then around to the instant murmur she had caused from her little clue. "Well, I'll leave a note for any latecomers, but I'd like to get started, so if you'll follow me down to the second floor, please. Oh..and don't bother too many of the portraits on the way." She waved her wand and left a new message on the board in the place of the old one, "We are down on the second floor, hurry and you might catch us before we start the lesson." Then Professor Lainey proceeded down the stairways, and to the second floor landing, pausing only to let everyone catch up. |
*Kim grinned and followed the Proffesor she looked at Nadia and grinned* |
Didymus followed the Professor to the second floor and waited. |
Nadia followed, second on the line with a wide smile. I am almost sure, she thought. What other thing could it be? She followed everybody down the corridor, wishing for one of Hogwarts marble stairs cases to change possitions soon so they could climb to the second floor the sooner. But, as she thought about what was expecting them in the second floor Nadia had a doubt... "How are we ever entering the Chamber of Secrets, I mean, none of us are Parseltongue, are we?" she asked to no one in particular. "Aw, if only Lissa would have come with us today..." |
This is gonna be so exciting!!! Claire kept walking behind the professor and students... |
Aschere was practically tingling with excitement. Oh wow, this was going to be one interesting lesson... |
"Alright, most of you are here. So we'll proceed on. As most of you probably figured out, we are indeed going to the very historical Chamber of Secrets today. I've worked out most of the bugs and even managed to have a nice chat with Myrtle. She shouldn't be heckling any of you, but please try to refrain from pestering her. She really is a very lovely ghost and I'll take points away from anyone bothering her." Professor Lainey opened the door to the second floor girl's toilet and ushered all her students in. |
"WOW" she muttered "This lesson is going to be one to remember" she grinned to no one in particular, |
Didymus entered the girl's toilets and looked around. She had heard tales about the Chamber from her grandparents and read about it in Hogwarts a History,she was very excited about actually being able to see it. |
