Professor Lainey tapped her chin with her translucent fingers, thinking. "Well, you guys have the first HIT task coming up pretty soon so....let's see, how about since this is a fairly easy assignment it will be due in one week. ( July 13th)

Nadia approached the desk cauntionly seeing most people out.

"Well, that was surely interesting, " she said. "Pity I didn't get the chance to answer much, but my mates Slytherin did the job for me quite nicely.

"Now, professor, I'm meaning to discuss this because I'm not too sure the assigment sounds such a good idea. Do you really think it a good idea to set such an assigment which will heat up the never ending discussion of "which founder was the best" leading to "what house is the best"? From past experience I can tell this might bring some problems. Not to mention there's no chance any of the students will chose other than their house founder, being not very objective, if you allow the critic... I can't see how this is going to help the house-war going on :ermsmile: "


ooc: and really, skipping Gryffindor and worshipping Ravenclaw wasn't smooth at all :/

Professor Lainey listened carefully to Nadia's brief overview of her first lesson before replying. "Well, being as I would never make the assignments you turn in public knowledge, I do not think that I will stir up trouble with my homework. And like I said earlier, I feel that the combination of the Four Founders make Hogwarts what it is. There is no "best house" in my opinion. I'm sorry to worry you with my assignment, but this is my very first lesson ever and if it goes completely out of hand I'll keep your advice in mind for next year. I appreciate your concern though. " Professor Lainey settled herself down on the front of her desk and continued to watch Nadia.

OOC: *shruggs* Sorry. I'm Ravenclaw biased. And in your homework assignment, I give you all the right to be biased right back at me with your choice of House.

Raven packed up slowly looking at Nadia always complianing about things. She grabbed her belongings and handed Nadia a small little not that read.

She smiled back towards Nadia and walked out the classroom.

*Nadia nodded and silently sighed (Oh dear, she thought). "OK then, just a... warning I guess it is. See you next class professor. Maybe you can tell us why the four founders had the initial disagreement and how Salazar Slytherin first thought about the only-purebloods-allowed rule came fromm. Last year we had a good recount, but I know there's different interpretations of it, so you might have a different answer."

Nadia nodded again and prepared to leave, getting a glimpance of Raven's expression, which Nadia responded with an arched eyebrow (yeah, I like being a pain for the teachers, so what? Nadia thought joking to herself). She was somewhat surprised when Raven approached her and handed her a note, which she read while Raven approached the door. When Raven turned and smiled, Nadia was already half-grinning half-smirking accross the classroom, and mouthed: 'You bet.'

Nadia turned once more to the professor, all her worries forgotten for the present time. "Allright professor, see you!"

" Yes Yes Nadia. See you next class." She saw the two remaining girls out of her classroom and locked the door behind them. The first lesson had gone well, she thought to herself, but next lesson she'd have to step up the difficulty. She returned to her desk to start her lesson plans for lesson two.
