 If it is your life's ambition to explore every nook and cranny of the school, then odds are you have made the long walk up one of the tallest towers of the castle and stumbled upon a door with no knob. On it is just a simple bronze eagle knocker. This may be a disappointment to some because all of that climbing had been for nothing. Ravenclaws, however, know that this door is very special because behind it is their very airy common room.
Anyone can, of course, approach the knocker and try to get in. After all, to get by you only need to provide an answer to one of its riddles. This will only cause more disappointment to the overconfident non-Ravenclaws who think they can break into the common room at any time. The riddles that the knocker is awaiting answers for aren't exactly easy. Those belonging in the house of Rowena Ravenclaw should be able to answer with ease. Regardless of who answers, if the answer is incorrect the door will not open and you'll be left standing outside until someone comes along with the right answer.

Sometimes when she was feeling bad, Misa was the last person Florrie wanted to see. After all, so many of her insecurities stemmed from the fact that her best friend was better than her. Prettier, smarter, more charming and wittier, more endearing and kind and talented than she could ever be.
But these were also the reasons she was her best friend, after all. And it wasn't Misa's fault she was all those things. Florrie just sometimes wished that she didn't have to share the spotlight so much.
Not today, though. Today she was feeling pretty negative about everything (as most teenage girls are wont to do), and what she needed was her best friend to remind her that everything was going to be okay. Florrie had even brought the baked goods this time, although she'd had plenty of help from the owl that had sent the pastries from her mother.
But there was no way she was guessing the answer to the riddle, and she wasn't going to even try - no doubt it would just make her feel even worse about herself because Misa (and Cooper and Seth Elliot and Genie and even Alex!) managed to do it multiple times a day. So she would just hang around her until someone told Misa she was waiting, basket in hand.

Misa had been in a mood lately so it was a very welcome and pleasant surprise to hear that one Florrie was waiting outside the common room for her. She hurriedly and excitedly grabbed a hoodie before heading out to meet her.
She offered a smile when she saw the older Hufflepuff. "Any special occasion?" she asked noticing the basket. "Or did you just decide now was a good time to love me?" Because she wasn't going to complain about that.

Looking up every time the door to the Common Room opened was going to end up hurting her neck, so Florrie was relieved it wasn't long before Misa appeared. Returning her smile with a half one of her own, the Hufflepuff offered up the basket, dramatically wafting the air towards the other girl.
"It's always a good time to love you, Misa." Just ask the whole school, who she was pretty sure adored the Ravenclaw. "But Fred sent them. I thought I could share."

| follow me; everything is all right.
The knocker is a great place to help Ravenclaws get in, but it is also a great place for a vine to hang and moving it's leafy ways around the knocker. Hanging from the knocker it reach out to try to touch the students standing near.

Misa was unaware of anything viney and suspicious going on. Nope. Homegirl was singularly focused on the smell wafting from Florrie's basket.
She frowned slightly at the mention of Fred. It was their code for when the teenage blues hit.
"Where's a good place to chat?" here actually seemed surprisingly empty. Maybe everyone was in class?
