Early afternoon the air still feels a little warm outside as she make your way up the Divination Tower. When you enter the first thing you might notice is a poster right at the door and your professor standing waiting to greet each and every child. Hoping the poster would help set the tone for the rest of the class Professor Euka is eager to let you pick which greeting you would like.
SPOILER!!: Greetings
Once you have done the greeting students will see rows of desks set up three feet apart with little baskets under each for your belongings. On the board they will find a few instructions that Professor Euka would like them to do before she begins.
Quote:
Take your seat and place your things under your chair. Once you have done this please close your eyes and take three deep breaths to relax your body and your mind.

........what? Oh. Oh. So he was caught. But at least he was within the topic of napping and sleeping, yes?
Anyway, sleeping, and dreams, and the Freud guy about dreams and what it could mean, déjà vu, yeah he's heard about the last bit-- mostly from his muggle friends but not really paid much attention to it. If they only knew he was a wizard, then they'd be blown away by the fact that there was a lot more into said topic. Like Oreomancy. Oreo? Yeah, that mancy-schmancy thing that most probably had to do with dreams.
The Gryffindor slipped out of his seat to get his supplies up front and went back to his seat. "They say when you get déjà vu, it means that you're in your correct path in life or something." Noah offered his answer as he hugged his bright pink pillow. "I never got one of though... or maybe I'm just not paying attention to it." the latter was most likely, professor.

Meda was impressed by the amount of students that put their hands up, even the ones that didn't seemed to be listening. It wasn't that she didn't expect them to, it was class after all, but she had been around teenagers long enough she knew patterns that tended to happen. Smiling as she walked around to call on each student;
When the slytherin spoke next Meda was impressed. She was very thoughtful and knowledgeable about her answer and Meda could tell she knew many things about dreams. "I see you have an interest here. That is always good to see a fellow researcher of dreams." Meda loved studying dreams so this was exciting to find a student just as interested.
"Many of you have brought up such good points and know quite a bit about the scientific parts of sleep and dreams. It is impressive how much interest and knowledge this topic has. Dreams are something muggles and wizards alike have studied and tried to figure out. Why do we have them, what makes them go the way they do, why do we remember some and not others. These are questions that have been asked over and over again. Now one of you brought up Deja Vu. That is an interesting topic and one that can very much be brought on with dreams, which leads me to ask has anyone ever heard of the Divination form Oneiromancy?" Waiting to see the hands she turned and moved towards her desk.
With a flick of her wand her desk became a table full of potion vials and a basket next to her desk reveal nice fluffy pillows. "I want each of you to come up and get a potion, if you would like a pillow you may grab one as well. Do not do anything with these yet, just get them and go back to your seat." Moving out of the way she continued, "As I was saying we will be working with Oneiromancy today, this is a Divination form using dreams. Many Diviners do not agree with Mr. Freud that dreams are nothing more than just that. They look for meanings, patterns, and messages within the dream. Your sixth sense speaking up while you are asleep to tell you something." She smiled and looked around, "Can anyone tell me a time where maybe you felt like you had Deja Vu or possibly a moment that made you stop and think didn't I dream something about this or was I warned that this would happen? What do you think about your dreams being able to tell you something?"
OOC: sorry I was a bit late this time, end of the school year gets crazy! Will post again in around 24 hours.
True. For some reason, Aibhi has been pretty fascinated with dreams in the last couple of years. Learning about why we dream and why our brains create these worlds in our minds to keep us somewhat relaxed when we close our eyes at night and drift away from reality. A light smile broke across her face and she nodded to her, "Thank you, Professor."
As professor Euka went on with her lesson, she brought up the topic of "Oneiromancy." Aibhi thought for a moment trying to think of what that was. She raised her hand with a little bit of hesitation, "I think...it has something to do with your dreams somehow predict the future in a way?" She lowers her hand after answering and watched as Euka use her wand and summoned little potion vials onto her desk. Oh, and pillows? Wait, are they actually going to go to sleep? A little bit of worry hit her not sure if this was such a good idea for her, but...she needed to keep her mind clear and calm. As Euka went on, Aibhi thought of her next question and thinking of a time she had Deja Vu...there were many instances, but she wasn't sure what to make out of it at the time, but now? Maybe it did mean something more...
Raising her hand again, she answers, "There was this one time back in my fourth year when I was with my dad on a trip for his work and there was this moment where I stopped and thought that it felt all too familiar to me. Where we were, what my dad was wearing...it was a weird feeling, but I didn't think too much of it." she shrugs. "I thought my mid was just going a million miles an hour and I just had this feeling of I have seen this before, but I don't remember how or when..."
After greeting Professor Euka with a pink shake Bella had placed her belongings in the basket under her desk like everyone else. It felt weird to be in class and not see Professor Kitridge up front snapping her fingers, but she had to get over it. Prof Kitridge was a victim of the Neo-Alliance and it'd only make her glum if she kept thinking about it. Shaking her head and trying to perk up and focus on the lesson at hand Bella raised her hand along with the others to answer the first question about dreams. "I think we dream to let our subconscious work through/process events or things we're thinking about in one way or another. Usually my dreams don't make a lot of sense and can hop in both time and space or be emotional depending on if I'm worried, exhausted or so on when I go to sleep."
Deja vu moment's in dreams? Mulling on this Bella headed up front and got herself a potion and pillow, to take back to her seat. Were they going to get to dream in class, and then interpret what those dreams might mean for their coming days at Hogwarts? This was the hardest part to put meaning to things in dreams that often didn't make sense. At least in Divination it was okay to guess. Raising her hand Bella answered thoughtfully. "I'm not sure what you mean by deja vu exactly, but I dreamt once that my teddy bear was going to be ripped apart, and the next day it got shredded in my granny's magical vacuum cleaner that went a little haywire." To put it mildly.

Was she supposed to be taking notes? She really hoped not because a whole lot was being said right then. Chances were very high that a good portion of what was being said would be forgotten if not written down to be looked over at a later time. Yet, no one else seemed to be taking down notes either.
All of this talk about sleeping and dreams, it was making her tired. And nervous. They wouldn't be going to sleep.. would, they? Probably. Otherwise, there would be no need for whatever they potion was for. Dahlia slowly got to her feet and wandered to the front of the room to collect a vial of the potion and a pillow when told to do so. Returning to her desk she set the potion down and kept the pillow in her arms when she sat back in her seat, hugging it to her chest.
Lia was trying really hard to remain focused on the lesson. Really she was. All she could think about was that potion sitting on her desk now and the super soft fluffy pillow in her arms. Every now and then a word or two would make its way through into her thoughts and she would blink a couple of times trying to clear her head.
Right the lesson. One.. something or other mancy. Deja vu and dreams. Had she ever felt deja vu from a dream she had? Yeah, she was pretty sure she had on more than one occasion. Only problem was she couldn't remember any of them right now off the top of her head. Which sort of frustrated her really since she knew it had happened before.

Yes, she was listening. And making notes about Oneiromancy, which was only interesting insofar as how it could be used potentially to influence someone or make them think their dreams had portents that would keep them acting in ways that benefited you, in Pax's opinion. Legitimate seers were fine and all but the best thing about divination were the charlatans. Sounded like a decent gig really, if you could get money out of true believers.
A pillow and a potion? Pax..... Did not like the sound of that. She would not take a potion in class or fall asleep. If they were forced she would fake it.
She had nothing to say about dreams or deja vu. Her dreams were her own business. Pax got up to fetch the pillow and potion then began examining the potion to try and ascertain exactly what it was and what it would do.

Heath blinked, confused by the professor's reply. How could something be interesting and boring? Never mind, moving on… This time, there was no ambivalence toward the show of hands question, and his hand shot into the air. He had heard of Oneiromamcy, mainly because he'd read the divination textbook, and he had to admit he was a little curious. Was Oneiromancy anything like dream analysis?
He got up to retreive a vial of potion and a pillow - a nice dark blue one. As he returned to his seat, he considered the question carefully, and his thoughts immediately turned to the day he was freed from The Room… the feeling of deja vu he had facing imminent danger, trying to stay strong for the one he loved, wishing he had more time to tell her… but that feeling of deja vu wasn't caused by a dream. It was caused by experiencing those same feelings in a different set of circumstances two terms before.
That wasn't the kind of deja vu Professor Euka was talking about, was it? Even if it was, he didn't feel comfortable sharing that with the class, so he kept quiet for now, listening to the other students' answers.

EFLKSFNKLENFLKJE PEACOCK!!!!!!!!!!!! And she could VISIT IT at ANY TIME she WANTED she chose to ignore the 'when you aren't in class' bit.
Of ALL the animals her family had, they had NEVER gotten a peacock. She started to wonder WHY and WHAT would take to get mum and dad to get a peacock for them. IT WOULD BE THE BEST THING EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As for the ongoing discussion and class in general, Scarlett wasn't paying any kind of attention. Not listening, not even noticing what was going on at ALL around her. She was now daydreaming about having her very own PEACOCK while watching the professor's pet back there.
GAAAAAAAAAASP, she needed one. NEEDED!!!!!!!!!!!
She was even already thinking up a plan to get one in case this was the puppy story all over again.

Moving out of the way so students could collect the potion and pillow Meda listened as the students spoke about their dreams. Irvin on the other hand seemed a bit curious as to what was going on so he moved towards the front of the room to get a better look.

Oh dear Merlin. Were they actually going to be having a nap that would guarantee that they dream? Claudine really did not fancy a nap. Still, that was no excuse to try to make an excuse to leave so she grabbed a vial and a purple pillow. It was only when she was back at her seat that she thought of deja vu and whatever else Euka asked. She immediately remembered a dream and an event that occurred in her first year, the year they were all stuck at Beaxbatons.
“I once dreamt of plants burning. A few days later, I accidentally set some rose bushes on fire at Beauxbatons.’’ Claudine wondered how many of those who had been there remembered the incident. Goodness, the Beauxbatons Headmistress really had gone full on out cuckoo afterwards.
“My ROZIZ!’’
Ugh. Claudine could still remember the woman’s voice and accent quite clearly as much as she could remember being grabbed at her collar by Giselle Desmarais.
"Oh goodness, that is a unique dream, when you woke from it was there anything in it that really stood out as maybe a warning?" This was the part many didn't realize they could figure out when it came to their dreams.

Ash actually almost never had Deja Vu. "My dreams just like to remind me of the past. Creatively. And you could argue that I feel impending doom in my dreams and then bad things happen, but they also happened before my dreams so it's almost impossible to tell which is right." Also, Ash didn't have prophecies in her sleep. Unless her recurring nightmare was a prophecy. Which was unlikely considering that it was so... bizarre.
"Sometimes it isn't the full dream that is something you could look for when it comes to what we are learning today. Your dreams seem like the perfect thing to jump into as we study dreams this term. If something is repeated it could very well be important. If it is just a specific outfit, creature, way things happen. It could be trying to tell you something else."

Why do we dream? Didn't that old bloke from like two centuries ago write a story about dreams and something about a wish your heart makes ? That kind of made sense and less scientific than his classmates were getting. Also, he didn't want to think about vulnerability when he was sleeping. He had mostly trusted Atlas and Aries in the year they'd all been together but now he was pretty sure he wasn't going to be able to sleep as well given that Professor Euka put those thoughts out there.
And she was passing out potions and pillows. Oh no. Unless it was a calming draught, how were they meant to be put into a sleep now ?!? When she'd mentioned moments ago about vulnerability when sleeping??
"Chaotic. That's my dreams." so basically hard to interpret and could he get a pass on this activity because he wasn't sure he wanted anyone to see his dreams .
"Sounds like you might have many things on your mind. Sometimes when our lives are crazy our dreams can be just as crazy and other times if our lives are quiet our dreams like to be a bit more crazy."

Talk about a deja vu moment?
Hmmm.... Well most of Lisa’s dreams were fantastical by nature so she quickly ruled out those and focused on the more practical, boring, and real life dreams. Well there were some dreams about her being high up in the air and falling all of a sudden. She hadn’t thought too much about it before but then again maybe she hadn’t experienced that “premonition” yet. Or perhaps it was a warning to stay away from brooms....?
“Most of my dreams are exciting but I did have a dream about throwing rocks once and then Remy and I did it in Diagon Alley. In the dream, however, one of the rocks shattered a window. I didn’t know that I would be throwing rocks with Remy... Maybe the sense of déjà vu is just telling us what we REALLY want to do. So if you really wanted ice cream than maybe the dream or your dream would be about it?”
"That could be a possibility, something in you wants and your mind brings it to be." She wasn't going to say no to any of their answers, because she loved hearing all they had to say, plus Meda knew with all the theories out there no one was truly wrong in their thought process.

Because what if THAT came to fruition?
At least all signs suggested they might actually be sleeping part of this class? Even if it meant they were documenting a dream.
Giving some of the quiet ones a smile to show it was okay to be quiet, Meda hoped they were listening to their classmates.

"Many of you have talked about different dreams you had and things happening after you had dreamt it. This could very much be a part of Oneiromancy, but what you need to look for is patterns. Now Oneiromancy is best done after many different dreams and keeping a journal. The best thing to do with it is have a journal near your bed. When you wake spend the first few moments just laying still and letting your mind think about what you were dreaming. After a few moments sitting up and taking notes so you don't forget is a great way to be able to remember later and compare to other dreams. Always look for things out of the ordinary in your dream, patterns that repeat, or anything that feels like it is crying out to you." She walked around as she spoke and made sure to make eye contact with all the students that looked at her.
"Because it is the middle of the day and Oneiromancy for dreams we are going to do a little activity that involves the potion that you have been given. Now I know I'm knew, you don't know me well, and some of you might not trust anything I give. I do understand that, but I will ask you to please take a leap of faith and trust me. This potion isn't very strong, it will work within minutes, but you won't be in a deep sleep so you may hear things around you. I am going to set a timer for fifteen minutes. The potion will last that long and when the timer goes off you will wake. Now this potion might be weaker than usual, but it will help you remember your dream. Now your chairs do have a little lever on the side and will lean back if you pick to do that or you can use the pillow at your desk." She checked her watch and then smiled, "Alright students, please go ahead and take your potion, happy dreaming."
ooc: activity time! As Meda said the potion is not a strong one, but they will dream. For this part of the activity just post them taking the potion and possibly beginning to dream. I will post in about 24 hours with the next part of the dreaming activity

Nope. Pax would not be doing that. She did not trust the potion, the professor, or the migrating peacock in the slightest. She also wasn't interested in making a scene over it either so opted for a discreet alternative - it was convenient at times to be good at non-verbals and this was one of those times. A modified version of a refilling charm, that vanished the liquid in reverse as she pretended to drink it worked wonders, her wand very discreetly blocked from view by the pillow she held.
Pax opted for leaning on her desk with the pillow for support because that way she could also shield her face with her arms and would have to put less effort into feigning sleep.
And then she waited.

As the lesson progressed, Claudine gradually forgot about her feelings {whatever they were} about having Euka as the new Divination professor. Perhaps it was the fact that she was enjoying the dream- talk or maybe it was simply Euka’s personality. Whatever it was, she actually met Euka’s gaze as she considered the question. Then she shook her head. “I don’t think so.”
Patterns from dreams? Well, this sixth year had never found any inclinations to do so. Claudine eyed the potion. Eka would be right. They didn’t know her. Could they trust her? The girl hesitated for a very long time, debating on what to do. Euka had not made it any easier by bringing up the fact about trust. Perhaps… perhaps she’d wait for some while and watch the classmates for a bit to see how the potion affected those who took it.
Surely a Hufflepuff would take that leap of faith? Or maybe an over-eager firstie?

Violet took the potion and returned to her pillow, then sat there a moment considering it. She thought she might be familiar with this sort of potion. She held it up to the light and eyed it from several angles--hmm, seemed the right color. Then she uncorked it and gave it a sniff. Maybe she ought to be more suspicious, but when it came to subjects she felt confident in, Violet was inclined to trust her judgment, and she judged that this potion was just what the teacher claimed it to be.
So, positioning herself at just the right angle from her pillow, she downed it, carefully lay back, and closed her eyes.
And just like that the hopes that Ollie had about the class flipped upside down. Obviously, Ollie wasn't going to trust what was in the potion! She hadn't been at Hogwarts that long, but she had been there long enough to know that all the teachers were NUTS. She watched as the rest of the class began to drink their potions and lay back in their desks. A few students making the same suspicious face that she was. Now she had a hard decision to make: Be a good student, or trust your gut. She rolled her eyes mentally. Come on Ollie just do! Don't be a baby. She thought to herself. Then she grabbed the lever, reclined her seat, and positioned her pillow comfortably behind her head. She eyed the liquid first. Looked fine. Then, down the hatch.

Riiiiiiiiiight...
It was exactly how Dahlia had expected. Professor Euka wanted them to drink that potion and go to sleep. Okay, so sure there was going to be a set timer that would wake them up in fifteen minutes but that did absolutely nothing at all to sooth this twelve year old's nerves.
Nah-uh, noway, nohow.
Not going to happen. She took precautions NOT to dream. So why would she willing drink anything that was going to MAKE her dream right now. Especially in a classroom full of her peers and a brand new professor that she didn't know. Fastest sure fire way to embarrass herself? Yeah, sorry but she wasn't going to be doing that. Any dreams that were going to take place would happen in back in her dorm or the common room when she managed to get a sibling to spend the night there with her.
What she would do though, was lay her head down on this here super comfy looking pillow she was cradling in her arms still. With a soft sigh, Lia pushed the potion vial to the corner of her desk and set the pillow down on the desk as well. She slipped her right arm underneath the fluffy pillow before resting her head upon it, her left arm than rest over her face. If she just so happened to doze off.. well that would just be down to luck.

Dare was sure he had some deja vu moments, but perhaps it was just the time and place but he couldn't quite think of one off the top of his head worth mentioning. I don't know... He wasn't quite ready to admit that when others had a cooler experience.
Now it was nap time, he didn't need to be told twice as he examined the vial of potion he was given and the pillow. Darius wanted to ask if he could just lay on the floor instead with his long legs it wasn't going to be comfortable leaning back in the chair with no pillow head rest against his head. Then he remembered his Grandfather Charely advise them to never drink anything you didn't see how it was made or where it came from.
Well, I don't think this Professor would risk her career poisoning an entire class... Least I'd hope not.He thought privately. It didn't make sense to Darius in the end.
Okay, I'll trust you...
Uncorking the potion, he downed it like pumpkin juice. Afterward, he set it down before laying his head down onto the pillow.

Observation. Yeah, that was something that Noah was highly selective about. He wouldn't be caught observing everything that was in his living moments or in his dream state-- well unless of course it was something that really bugged him, you know? Prior to the war, he had pleasant dreams... fun and funny ones. After the war, there was nothing. It was as if his mind was on high alert all the time, and the littlest of things make him panic and worry. No such thing as 'relax' or 'at ease' existed in his mind as of late.
So... the potion. It will put him in a sleeping-sort-of state, and help him remember his dream. You know what? Sure. Since there were people who clearly had a deep-seated aversion to consuming anything from professors, they'd have to stand back and just watch them brave souls... and hopefully save them should things go... er... wrong. Yes? Yes.
Uncorking the potion, Noah downed the liquid in one go, corked the empty bottle and pocketed it. With the assigned lever, the Gryffindor pushed back on his seat, putting him in an almost horizontal position. The pink pillow was then placed over his eyes to give him maximum darkness.
His position made him all the more sleepy, and he willingly gave in to the sleep even for just 15 minutes.
Dream? Well, the potion should kick in any second now...

So they were taking a sleeping potion to have a “dream”?!?
Okay, this sounded awesome. Full of excitement, Lisa didn’t even question the Professor’s offer of the potion. She just went for it. Boots and all. She uncorked the potion, downed it as if it was her favourite juice, and then reached around to find the lever. Lisa started feeling herself get drowsy and she .... she ya .... YAAAAAAAAAAAAAWNED. Ultimately she found the lever, propping her chair a little lower and clutched the pillow closer before adjusting it underneath her head.
She passed out. All she saw was darkness at first welcoming her to sleep. It was like the start of a stage, curtains in front of her waiting to be pulled up to reveal the audience or actor.
THE PEACOCK WAS GETTING CLOSER SKJDFNSDKLJFNSDKJLFNSKDJFSKJDFJK
There was NO WAY Scarlett Mordaunt would be able to pay attention to the lesson now. NO WAY.
Although professor calling her by her actual NAME - she wasn't very used to the whole 'Miss Mordaunt' thing yet and she didn't really respond to it half the time - made her snap back to reality momentarily. "HUH? OH, okay!" A POTION to do WHAT?????? She hadn't listened, but it was ALL GOOD, because there was a PEACOCK IN THE CLASSROOM!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everything was RIGHT in the WORLD.
So the Hufflepuff collected the things she needed and went back to her seat, NEVEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRR taking her eyes off the COOL CREATURE. THE PEACOCK, in case you weren't paying attention.
Again, she had NO idea what that Potion was supposed to do, but she noticed others were taking it, including her brother, SO she took it TOO. Placing the pillow on her desk, she crossed her arms over it and rested her chin on the top arm, looking UP so she could keep admiring the PEAC-- zzzzzzzzzzzzz.
Ash did not want to do this activity, but she didn't really have a choice. So she just chugged the potion and went to sleep.
As usual, she was swimming in black water at midnight with about five people. She could tell that one of them was Theodore, and one was Brandon. The other three were various muggle surfer friends she had. Theodore's brother, Ash's close friend from school who was dating said brother, and another mutual friend who surfed. Then came the big wave, and they all lost their boards. They started to go under.
Here we go again.
Only this time, as she started to fall into the flaming Hogwarts, Theodore fell through as well instead of drowning. Great. That was the small variation today, apparently. Yay. The dream continued.

Frankly, Heath was more interested in the reclining chairs than the activity itself. Did Professor Euka bring in special chairs just for this lesson? Did she somehow build a bunch of reclining chairs from scratch? No, more likely she used magic to modify existing chairs. Which spells did she use? To him, that skill seemed a lot more useful than Oneiromancy!
He eyed the potion with ambivalence. Although he didn't know Professor Euka well, so far she hadn't given him any reason not to trust her… unlike the many professors who abandoned him to The Room for months on end. It was his own mind that he didn't trust. More often than not, his dreams were nightmares, the kind that made him wake crying in the middle of the night. Those dreams were hard enough when he was in his dorm, safely hidden from prying eyes and ears by the curtains around his bed and a muffliato charm. Just the thought of having a nightmare like that in a classroom full of people had him on edge!
Heath was getting tired of the adults in this school trying to force him to be vulnerable! At the same time, he didn't want to get into trouble for not participating, so he quickly downed the potion before he could talk himself out of it. Pulling the lever, he positioned the pillow near the top of the reclining chair and curled up, hiding his face in the pillow. In a matter of seconds, he drifted off to sleep.

A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.
The first-year Hufflepuff wondered if there was a potion that would allow him to enter someone else's dreams. He had wanted to explore his brother's dreams ever since he had gotten back from school during the summer. Mostly because he had the feeling that most of his brother's nightmares were linked to whatever had happened to him in this castle and a small part of him know what he had gone through so that he had someone who would understand him.
The biggest reason was that he was curious. Just curious.
Daniel picked up the bottle of potion that had been given to him and held it up to his eyes. Was this not for a lesson, Daniel would have refused to drink it. Possibly even had thrown the bottle on the ground if they had continued to insist on him drinking it. Because was it just him or were the professor's a bit pushy with their foods?
After drinking the potion and hoping for the best he had not been poisoned just now, Daniel leaned to his right to find the lever that the professor had mentioned earlier. His fingers wrapped around the lever and he pulled so that the chair moved backward. Finding a comfortable position that was on his back and his arms crossed over each other against his chest, Daniel closed his eyes and waited for sleep to come.
He was leery. Not just of the potion, although the fact she brought up them not trusting her made him even MORE sus of the Professor, but also because... Evan was glad he didn't remember most of his dreams. What if he had nightmares? What if his mind re-imagined what had happened to Noah, or the bodies he'd seen, or made something happen to Maya and Lisa? What if his dreams just showed him entirely alone for all of eternity, no friends and all of his family gone?
He didn't want to do this. The nap part had sounded amazing. Until it was mentioned the potion would also help with dreams.
He stared at it for a minute, before looking around the room at his classmates - the ones who had taken the potions and the ones who were procrastinating. He could see his little sister down it and then immediately fall asleep. Although he still didn't trust it... well, solidarity. Ev sighed softly before downing the potion and getting himself comfortable on his pillow as his eyes fluttered shut.
And he found himself in a white room.

Remy listened quietly throughout the lesson so far, and she felt a jolt of excitement when the professor explained the activity. Taking potions to send them to sleep?! Of course, she had a few concerns about it, but she had total faith a Hogwarts professor. She watched a few others go first as she held onto the potion on her desk. Feeling satisfied, she popped the lid off and drank the potion quickly, just in case it tasted bad.
She gently rested her head on the pillow provided and waited. This was WEIRD, and exciting... and terrifying...
Before she could think of more emotions, Remy's eyes closed and she felt herself drifting into a sleep.

Okaaay then.
It seemed that her classmates were legitimately dozing off. So it seemed. Well, Claudine would give this a shot. And so she did, downing the contents of the vial in one go. Having tilted her chair back slightly prior, and placed the pillow behind her head, the girl laid back and stared up at the ceiling.
So far, she felt like her usual self. No symptoms of being poisoned or anything, which was great. Minute by minute, Claudine could feel her eyelid get heavier until… she drifted off completely.

Misa liked the idea of a nap in class. She has been overwhelmed recently so sleep seemed like a good idea. She downed the potion without question. She then got comfortable and closed her eyes. Feeling herself drift fairly quickly.

Meda wasn't sure how to feel with so many looked around suspicious or even maybe scared. How sad it was that so many adults had made them feel so uncomfortable that they didn't think they could trust a professor. She really hoped her sister wasn't one of them, but she could ask her at this point, so she did the next best thing and waved her wand to bring on a soft lullaby. The charmed music would help the students that didn't feel they could use a potion relax enough to sleep without it and the students that had taken the potion, well the music might just slip into their dreams you never knew how sounds effected a dream which was something she wanted to point out, but would wait until students were deeper into their dreams.
Walking around the room she made sure each student was safe and comfortable during this activity and she watched for any that might have stress inside their temporary moment away from reality. She did not want this activity to be stressful for anyone and wanted it to be a positive experience that could help them in the future.
Checking her watch she knew some would be starting into their dreams while others would still be slipping into sleep depending on if they took the potion or not. Glancing at Irvin who took guard at the door she smiled, he was such a well adapted bird and his love for students showed all the time.
OOC: Hello, hello! I'm so sorry for the delay, I had a child get sick yesterday so my focus was there! From this point on I will be quoting students for the rest of this little activity to add in sounds or Irvin moving around. YOU will get to decide on if the sounds or movements come into their dreams and YOU get to decide what the dreams are, so your posts can be as creative as you would like for what they are dreaming. I'm really excited to read the dreams and how/if the things that Meda does come into the dreams
