What did people do when they got anxious? They sought out a place that gave them comfort. And the technology room was exactly that place for Minjae Yoon.

But the atmosphere in the room was different now. For starters, Josh wasn’t here anymore and he hadn’t seen any of his other friends either. Normally, he would simply game on his own, battling monsters in a virtual world but he did not feel like it today.

Lying down on the couch in front of the TV, the Hufflepuff took out his wand and with a non-verbal Flagrate charm he began to draw images in midair. Clouds, fluffy bunnies ….he missed his bunnies at home. He missed his parents and his little brother.

After the first Defense Against the Dark Arts lesson of the year, there is very little left of what used to be the Technology Lounge. The room could not withstand the explosive lesson, nor could the tech.

Computer parts and game board pieces litter the floor. Shards of CD-ROMS and remnants of legos are splayed out like sad decor. Even the pitiful beanbag chairs did not survive. You've entered what looks like a broken battle ground.

If you're trying to find anything in this room.... You may want to bring along a broom.

Every time Minjae walked past his favorite room when he had to go to classes he would peer inside, hoping the destruction had all just been a dream but he knew that it was not. In the beginning of the year he had asked Professor Schmoe if he could do something about the room. Clean it up a bit and see if anything had been left untouched that he could safe.

But it had taken him a long time before he actually entered the room because his classes had come first . Normally he wouldn't have cared so much about his classes but with the Alliance having taken over the school he didn't have much choice other than to attend them. Today though, it was a saturday which meant no classes and he didn't have any homework to distract him either.

As he entered the room, the first thing the Hufflepuff did was walk over to where the CD's used to be displayed. With his shoes he pushed aside the debris and his heart skipped a beat when he saw ……a CD. Untouched. He quickly stooped down to pick it up to safe it but as he held it in his hand it suddenly began to crack. With a sigh, Minjae tossed it over his shoulder, stood up straight and looked around with a hand on his side. He hadn't exactly announced to anyone that he would be doing this but he still hoped someone, anyone, would walk through that door to help him out a bit. Now, where should he begin?
