| | The Hut/Office of Pierson Fuller-Thompson Welcome to the Hut and Office of the Groundskeeper, Charms Professor and Slytherin Head of House, Pierson Fuller-Thompson. You can make an appointment to see him by sending him an owl, or you can just stop by the hut and see if he's in. However, he's going to be quite the busy man if he's going to keep up with lessons, Slytherins and the grounds.
If you would like to see Professor Fuller, please knock a few times first. If he answers, you're welcome to come in. Otherwise, it would be wise to come back later or leave him a note.
Once inside the hut, you'll notice that it's looking a bit different than it did back in the old days and probably even different than last term. It's been modified to fit Piers' style, but also to accommodate his life. When you walk in, you'll see a small kitchenette with a tea kettle on the stove. Next to it is a wood burning fireplace, and across from that is a nice couch. If you look up, you'll see a loft. That's where glorious naps happen. Under the loft, you'll find a nice seating area, a small dining room table and another couch, all adorned with flannel to keep the man and his guests warm during the cold months.
Make yourself comfortable. But, of course, not too comfortable. He is busy, you know. |

| be curious, not judgmental Well, Teddy wasn't completely helpless. If he didn't do something to take his mind off the worries plaguing him, he wasn't sure what was going to happen, but he didn't want to find out. (He was pretty certain that his parents would not love the idea of him returning home, nor would his sisters love the idea of him leaving school, so he was... sort of stuck, but trying to be proactive.)
The sponsor of the Health and Wellness Club had always made Teddy feel at ease, both inside the classroom and during club activities, and as a fourth year, the Ravenclaw felt like his opinions maybe mattered a little more than they did before. So here he was, knocking on the door of the hut of Professor Fuller-Thompson their first full day back at it, hoping it wasn't a bad time to chat. He'd leave a note if he had to. |

Piers was in his hut, windows open, taking in the last of the warm early-autumn air before it turned into the cold, brisk air of the winter. Not to mention he felt claustrophobic at times with how many times they had been stuck inside the castle and the open windows helped remind him that he still had access to the outside world.
The charms professor was munching on an apple at his table when he heard a knock on the door follow the sound of footsteps that trickled in through the window. "Come on in," he called out, chewing on his apple slice. He had papers in front of him - an assortment of homework assignments and lesson ideas. He was what you would call... a procrastinator. |

The immediate response was a relief to Teddy - he wasn't fully sure what he would have done with himself had Fuller-Thompson not been in - and he let himself inside.
"Hello, sir," he greeted, offering a smile conveying more unabashed joy than he felt as he closed the door behind him, then faced him to properly survey the situation. Still cozy, lots of papers, a nice breeze, an apple... Truthfully, Teddy perceived that the professor could use a break from whatever he was working on, but out of respect and politeness, he chimed, "Thank you for having me in. I hope I'm not interrupting?" It was a question, just to be sure, but even so, Teddy was taking tentative steps to join him at the table. |
