 In close proximity to the library lies the study hall. Whether you are a first year or a seventh year, a Gryffindor or a Slytherin, a boy or a girl, this room is the best place to go for your studying and homework completion needs. If you ever find yourself stuck on something or have no clue what you're doing, you can always ask those who you are studying with for help or the professor that is overseeing the study session.
Scattered around the room are groups of desks that make it perfect for you and your friends to collaboratively work together. Average-sized oil lamps have been strategically placed on the desks to create a calm, comfortable environment. In a neat pile in the centre of the desks are extra quills, bottles of ink, and spare parchment should you need it -- just remember to leave the quills and ink at the table and only use what you need for parchment. Under the windows a long bookshelf containing a copy of textbooks for each class can be found, which you are welcome to use during your time in this room.

Potions is a fun class, it was just a shame she wasn't that great that it. It baffled her really, for all she had to do was follow instructions and the majority of the time she could swear she was doing everything exactly as the books - or the professor - said.
And that's exactly why she was here. Because she wanted to get better, and so far she thought she was doing a pretty good job. The liquid inside the small portable cauldron on the table before her begins to bubble up and a victorious smile begins to spreads across her lips. YES YES YES - she was doi...
Wait.
Her forehead creases.
Was it supposed to start bubbling up like that?
"Huh..." Ninette tears her gaze away from the cauldron and reaches to flip through her notes, eyes going back and forth between the pages and the bright green liquid rapidly rising inside the cauldron and threatening to spill. "No no no don't - huh ..." She lets go of her notes, hands now only somewhat frantically hovering about the cauldron, tone low. " - don't do that... shh don't do that huh."

Minjae in the study hall? Near the library? STUDYING?!
No. He was not here to study. The study hall was a good place to take a nap as it was usually quiet. He would scatter some paper and a random textbook over a desk and then pretended to be studying so hard that he had fallen asleep. And that was his plan for today as well.
He had chosen one of the desks in the corner facing one of the windows and walked towards it when he heard the bubbling of a cauldron and the frantic whispers of someone talking to it. Although he could not make out what they were saying as he was too far away.
Curious to know what she was brewing, or trying to brew, Minjae placed his bag on the table to claim it before walking in her direction. He remembered seeing the girl in a few of his own classes. "You're a fifth year right?" he asked as he stood by her table, looking in the cauldron. "Oh you are SO going to fail your OWL" he laughed. "What are you even trying to make?"

So.
This wasn't going well.
Ninette was't above admitting it. She didn't want to look like a fool, but there was nothing shameful about it. She was also not above admitting that she might need help, so when out of the corner of her eye she spotted a student approaching the smile that had been dwindling from her lips perked up at the thought of a compassionate helping hand.
And then he spoke.
WHAT?!
“OI, excuse me, I’m not going to fail my OWL.” Ninette was PROMPT to retort, hands moving to her hips, brow furrowed and tone dripping with indignation. “Don’t jinx me... this is a NO jinx zone.” She felt a sudden urge to knock on the wooden table three times, but resisted it... uh... well, maybe she ought t- no, RESIST.... and huh... maybe blow on the potion too? Yes, that seemed like a good idea. Just some gentle blowing to help the bubbling stop.
She wasn't very successful.
And the liquid wasn't smelling all too nice either.
"Darn volubilis potion..." There was an underlying sense of worry he was correct, but he didn’t really need to know that - of course that Ninette just couldn’t stop talking. “You’re-you are going to fail your OWL.”

Minjae let out a chuckle. This girl was so defensive it was funny. He held up his hands as if in surrender and looked from the potion to her and then back to the potion. "Alright, alright you're not going to fail geez" he said before lowering his hands.
The Hufflepuff watched her as she began to gentle blow on the potion to try and stop it from bubbling up but he already knew that that was not going to work. The fact that she hadn't vanished the potion yet and started a new one was also surprising to him. Better start over than fixing mistakes is his motto.
Volubilis potion? That meant... Minjae looked at the potion again and noted that the bubbles had a greenish color to it. "You were supposed to heat up the cauldron until the potion turned blue when it became green" he said as he grabbed a nearby chair and sat on it backwards. What she said next was wrongly interpreted "Oi! Just because i'm small doesn't mean i'm young!" Well, he was young, just not twelve years young. "I already passed my OWL anyway" he huffed.
