The prefect couldn't help but notice poor Teddy, who looked like he was on the verge of tears. Thankfully, he seemed to perk up a bit after his sister was sorted into Gryffindor. The other new eagle, Amabel, also was offered a warm nod and handshake. She gave Heath a friendly wave as well, unable to restrain her grin when he offered her congratulations. "Thank you, Heath!" It was so exciting to see all her fellow classmates again. "Excited for your fourth year?" |
Here she was at last, at the blue and bronze house table where she belongs. "Good evening, dear Ravenclaws! I'm Irithel Rutherford - nice to meet you all," she said to all her new housemates. Did everyone see her? Did everyone hear her? Okay, good. She loved being the center of attention, especially in the presence of cool&older kids. Hopefully they were nice people too. She knew that clever people could be terribly mean sometimes. Anyway, this was neither the time nor the place to be judgmental about people she just met. It was however, the time and place to give her brothers a hug!! "I'm in Ravenclaw! Are you proud of meeeee? " Irithel said as she squeezed Eron in a hug. She was sad that this was already his last term at school, so she would not be seeing him for the majority of the next few years. Why did he have to be so old? ;___; After speaking briefly with all of her brothers, she moved to take a seat near the front where Ashley was. She had watched her friend get sorted before her and was pleased, but not surprised, to hear her result. "Lili, hi! We're both here in Ravenclaw like we promised," she smiled. Noticing another first year girl (Amabel), Irithel nodded at her. "Hello, who are you?" she asked, in what she thought was a polite manner but which could have come across as rude. |

Late to the party but we're here :) Lukas was a second year now. That had meant, no boat ride across the lake with Katarina and instead he had gotten to ride in a carriage pulled by Thestrals. Which mind you, he could not see but he knew that they were there. He also didn't have to stand up there on the dais in front of everyone and be sorted. That had been last terms start of the term feast excitement. This time he got to watch. Heading directly for the Ravenclaw table, the still smaller than some, second year slid into an empty spot near the center of the table. "Hey, everyone. Hope you all have a good summer." Lukas greeted them all as a whole for the time being. It was easier that way sometimes. Blue-gray eyes found those of his twin sister somewhere down at the other side of the table and he flashed her a grin before his focus moved towards the sorting. Good thing Denaker wasn't that far along in the alphabet and he didn't have to wait long to hear his besties name being called. Hoping to catch her eye before she sat down on the stool, Lukas mouthed a very simple 'Meow' to let her know that he was watching. Moments later when Gryffindor had been shouted by the hat, he grinned at Kat and cheered. Obviously that would be where she would be placed. He would see her later or in the morning and congratulate her then. It came as no real surprise that the Headmaster was already yelling at people and taking points. As long as it didn't concern him he was fine. All he wanted to do was eat and chat with his friends. |
