If you are eager to see, be seen, and get to school first, then the front passenger cars of the train are for you. Just like the other cars, a long corridor provides access to the many compartments, each labelled with a letter, available for you and your friends to hunker down in until the train has come to a complete stop. Cushioned seats and large windows, allowing perfect views of the British scenery on your journey, await.
Well, what are you waiting for? Slide open a compartment door and make yourself at home. Place any of your belongings not in the luggage car on the racks above you. Chat with your friends about what you did this summer, enjoy munching on the snacks you bought from the trolley lady, get ahead of the game by reading your textbooks, or take a long nap as the train travels over numerous hills and mountainsides. Whatever you do, exhibit your best behaviour -- the prefects will be regularly patrolling the corridors and poking their heads inside your compartment to make sure you are doing so.
She had finally made it! How had it come both so slowly and yet so quickly? One moment, she was waving goodbye to her brother and sisters on the platform, begging her father to let her go too and the next moment, she was hugging her father so tight, throwing her luggage onto the train and waving goodbye. It almost felt like a dream. Almost.
Feeling slightly overwhelmed, Ingrid watched out of a window and waved as her father got smaller and smaller until all he resembled was the smallest grain of rice. With a calming breath, Ingrid turned and made towards one of the train compartments at the front, not because they were at the front but because they were the closest and settled herself next to window, her eyes now on the rapidly changing scenery outside of the window.
Unsure exactly how she felt, the little Luck simply drew her legs close to her chest, pulled her hair up using a bobble and grabbed a copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them from her backpack and begin to reread the chapter about Dragons again. Sure, she practically had it memorised by now how well could one really know a book? Besides, with the miniature figurine of the dragon she’d bought from Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes tucked away in her trunk, a little more knowledge couldn’t go amiss.

Ashley entered the car, Common Magical Ailments and Afflictions in one hand and her cat Luna in the other. "Hey can I sit here?" she asked the girl there, who she had met before. She plopped down on the seat across from her and curled up to sorta read her book and sorta look out the window and pet her cat, because y'know, why one do one thing when you can do all the things! She had a bag packed for this trip, with self-shuffling playing cards and cat toys and her wand and chocolate frogs and a spare uniform and another book and some other stuff. Ashley of all people was not one to be unprepared. She even had spellotape, which seemed to be some sort of magic duct tape. She didn't know what it was for, but it seemed like it would come in handy.

Though the days leading up to September first had been an absolute whirlwind of emotions that Kiz didn't quite understand, she was very much excited now. Holding her best friend's hand and wearing the matching outfits they had picked out over the summer, Kinsay James felt absolutely invincible.
"Come on, Emm! We have to get the best compartment." She tugged her BEST friend's arm as she walked further down the corridor. Kizzy wasn't sure WHICH compartment was the best, but there had to be a best one with plenty of space for Matty and Sammy and Emma. A special compartment for all her special friends.
She paused, looking around. Was the best compartment HERE or was it in the back? She should've asked Phoebe about this stuff. Phoebe always knows what's best.

As the days had drawn closer to September 1st, it had become abundantly clear that no one was about to let her stay home. Not her mummy--even when Daddy said she could, not her grandpa, not Kizzy, not the rest of her friends. The most they did was tell her things would be alright and that she'd enjoy it. The most her mother did was make it clear it wasn't up for discussion. Last night, they spent the night in Madrid, just them for their last "girl time" before she was shipped off. In some ways, it made her feel better, in other ways...she was already missing her terribly.
All that aside, how cool was THIS? They'd gotten matching outfits like they wanted and they were walking along the Hogwarts Express to H O G W A R T S.
Fine. She was a little excited. FIIIIINNNEEEE.
"This one!" Without warning, Emm swung into an empty compartment, pulling Kizzy with her. "This one doesn't have idiots in it. It's perfect!" Emm carefully laid down the satchel that had been hung over her shoulder, looking back through the window of the door to make sure no one was about to show up until their other friends did.
"Ready to see that thing I was telling you about?" Emm had told Kizzy that she was getting a special present for school and gushed about showing her but absolutely had not said what it was. In the end, it was probably the hardest secret to keep EVER because she told her bestfriend everything.

Kizzy was practically bouncing from all the excitement that her body was trying so hard to contain. She knew she couldn't be so excited in front of Teddy because he was still sad about Tavie (Kiz was too, obviously #StarkSchoolForever, but but but). She could be excited with Emm though, so she was significantly more bouncy now than she had been on the platform.
It's why she was entirely unfazed by the sudden pull into the empty compartment. "Perfect!" She repeated, throwing her arms out and doing a spin. Two spins. But then she didn't move to sit down right away. Kiz wanted to take it all in. The first train ride was supposed to be really special. She wanted to remember every detail. Even what the view looked like from their window and the seats they sat on and--
Okay, she was done taking it all in now.
There was something more exciting. Namely, THE THING. "Ready!? I've been waiting all summer!" That was a little dramatic. But she did feel like it was a long wait, especially because she never had to wait for Emm to show her things. This was a very new experience and Kinz had never been one to be patient. She was working on it. Anyway, she really, really couldn't wait any longer, so she bounced over to sit next to Emm, not even bothering to lay her own bag down. The anticipation was eating her up.

The train could wait. Taking it all in, finding their other friends, a nap later in the afternoon when the novelty of the train wore off, it could all wait because Emmerson had been standing on her lips for WEEKS while her Auntie Jessa worked on her thing and it was the most perfect thing EVER and Kizzy needed to be there for the unofficial unveiling to the public.
Emm flopped down onto the seat as her friend did, giggling from the excitement of it all.
"Okay, remember how I said all the animals on the school list are boring?" Everyone had a cat, she didn't care for owls, and she wanted NOTHING to do with rats or toads. Gross. "I was walking through Weasley's after and and and..."
Unable to contain her enthusiasm any longer, Emmerson reached into her satc--"Ow!" The little girl withdrew her hand immediately, checking she hadn't gotten a nasty cut for it then carefully pulled the cloth frame down and away to reveal a purple, scaly friend. To anyone, it would look like one of the mini dragons from the toy aisle of the shop, because it was a toy dragon she'd gotten from the toy aisle but curiously, it wasn't so mini anymore. Now, its nose to the tip of its tail stretched the length of her arm.
"Auntie Jessa did lots of magic on it--touch him, he's like a real dragon. I named him Artemis." Because he LOOKED like an Artemis, didn't her? "She made him more like a real dragon."
As if on cue, Artemis spread his wings in a lazy stretch before flopping forward into her friends lap in a failed attempt at flight. "SO much better than a cat."

Noah was trying to find a place to set up his camp on this train journey. But where exactly?
.... He didn't know.
So the Sixth Year wandered.
He smiled to himself, noting that it would be weird not to have Aboli joining him.... He was proud of his best friend for becoming a Prefect, knowing that she'd do well, but slightly, slightly upset that he was leaving her all alone. With a sigh, he found an empty compartment and set up camp. He sank into the seat, fishing a book out of his bag as he began to read through it.

Though she was very much present, her mind did continue to wander. What if Emma, Sammy, and Matty couldn't find this compartment? It was VERY important that they all rode together for the first train ride. All of the train rides. Because that's how Kinsay had planned it out in her head. If it didn't happen the way she saw it, she'd be severely disappointed.
But there was also something very gratifying about being the FIRST to know about the thing. This thing that Emm hadn't told for WEEKS. Being the first to know things was always special and it canceled out all of the wandering thoughts about their other friends. For the moment, Kiz was ALL ears. And eyes. She was all everything. She just wanted to know the special thing now please, please, PLEASE?
"So boring," she agreed wholeheartedly (except she did like Beans and Beans is a cat). "Annnd?" The ANTICIPATION. She tried leaning over to see inside the satchel, but it didn't really work. That's okay though because Emm was going to show her any second now. She could always tell when it was time for the big reveal.
O____o
Emmerson's yelp caused Kiz to jolt up right. Her eyes growing HUGE with worry. All of which disappeared the moment she saw the toy dragon in full. She gasped audibly in awe, watching the scaly critter move about. With Emm's encouragement, Kiz timidly extended her arm to pet along its back. "Whoa," upon touch, she looked up with amazement. "Will you bring him to class?!" She didn't know what you were supposed to do with pets when you went to lessons, but it only seemed fair to bring them along. What if they got lonely?
Either way, Artemis was so much cooler than any other pet! A DRAGON was way better than a toad. It made Kizzy feel a little envious, but she didn't like feeling that way so she tried her best to push that away. "I wish I had a pet. I was supposed to bring Sweetpea, but..." she looked down at the compartment floor, kicking her feet and filled with SADS. As Emmerson knew, the little fish had died early on in the summer. It was all very traumatic. Especially because she just poofed in the end (as magically-made-fish tend to do).

Summer was very much short-lived for Eron but despite it he managed to do all the things he set out for the summer. Like do some mountain climbing and camping with Eryk. That was 2 whole weeks of pure adrenaline and fun. After which he visited Carys as often as possible. It was nice having to meet her and have play dates with their cats. Pretty much it was random vacations at the beach, the lake near his house and visiting his cousins from Spain. But now the sun fun is almost over as he reached the train with his family. His father was with them today because of Irithel. His youngest sister is about to start her first year and their father was quite emotional about it.
Glad he immediately skipped away and got himself on the train.
Eron didn't want to be alone in the compartment for this train ride- his last train ride to Hogwarts by the way, so he went inside the first one that's not empty. He can't really sit with Carys because she's a prefect but he has thought of maybe visiting her later. For now he just needs a compartment. Random. He sees Noah (if he remembers his name correctly) kind of sulking by himself. Maybe he could use a casual conversation for now.
And yes, he just barged right in because why not.
"Hi, do you mind if i sit with you?" he flashed a grin at the Gryffindor boy. They haven't been acquainted before so this would be a great time to do so. "I'm Eron" he added. Does he need to add his year and house? Nah.
Ashley of all people was not one to be unprepared. She even had spellotape, which seemed to be some sort of magic duct tape. She didn't know what it was for, but it seemed like it would come in handy.
With her mind on dragon’s and her knees pulled tight to her chest, the sound of the door startled her for the briefest of moments but a small smile returned to her face as she recognized the face of the girl she met by the fountain that one time in Diagon Alley. Folding the corner of the page that she was reading over over, Ingrid put her book to one side and nodded.
“Of course. I’d never keep a whole compartment to myself” and if she was being honest with herself, the idea of having a friend before going to Hogwarts that wasn’t someone in her family was a small relief.
Casting a quick glance at Ashley, her eyes instantly went automatically towards her cat and her smile grew wider. “I love your cat! It’s so cute. What’s its name?”. The lure of an animal, magical or not was just too much for Ingrid to resist. She almost had to hold her legs tight just to simply stop herself from getting up and going to stroke the creature but, having looked after so many for so long, she knew all too well that some things just didn’t like strangers.

Ashley smiled. "My cat is Luna, and my owl is Maggie." Luna looked like she wanted to say hi to Ingrid. She let go. Luna jumped to Ingrid to pet and then jumped back into Ashley's lap. "Are you exited for Hogwarts?"
Ashley smiled. "My cat is Luna, and my owl is Maggie." Luna looked like she wanted to say hi to Ingrid. She let go. Luna jumped to Ingrid to pet and then jumped back into Ashley's lap. "Are you exited for Hogwarts?"
Ingrid grinned at the cat as the girl told her it’s name only for it to become even bigger as it jumped onto her lap so she could pet it. “What type of cat is she? She’s sooo pretty” she continued, clearly gushing about the cat now was it briefly began purring before jumping back over to Ashley.
“I want a cat. Well, Kneazle actually but Dad says I can’t have one because we have so many different pets at the shop” , her smile getting smaller now as she thought back to her last birthday when she thought she was going to have one. With a small sigh and a slightly smaller smile on her face, Ingrid turned towards the window, her eyes on the mountains in the distance now and her mind wandering to whatever was waiting for her at Hogwarts.
“I can’t wait”, she replied, although her reply was somewhat off, so deep in thought was she. “I mean, I want to know what house I’m in but…I’m a little worried”. The amount of time she’d spent over the last few weeks worrying about what house she’d end up in was silly. Even she knew that but her mind still went back to it. What if she was in a house all alone now? Sure, when her sister had had the same issue, it didn’t seem a big deal but now she was about to find out about her own house, she couldn’t help but worry about the same thing.

Ashley smiled. Ingrid clearly liked cats. "She's a tabby cat. I dunno if that's a breed. What's a kneazle?" It was clearly a magical thing. "I'm exited too. I'm hoping to be a Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. No way would I be a Gryffindor or Slytherin. I'm not very brave or particularly ambitious." She reflected on that. Out of all her traits, she seemed most likely to be a Ravenclaw.

A voice interrupted him from his novel. Fortunately this time no none had entered the compartment and got their hair stuck or slammed the doors whilst he was reading a suspenseful scene. This time someone was asking him to sit with him. He glanced up from the book, noting the other boy who was there and grinning. Noah nodded, offering a smile, "Sure!" He didn't mind someone joining him. To be honest, he rather liked it as he had already read this book before and was growing tired of it. He could only read a book so many times before he got bored. Closing his book, he placed it beside him and leaned back with a smile. Eron, was it?
That was an easy name to remember. Unique too. He hadn't met an Eron yet. "Nice to meet you, Eron. I'm Noah. Is this your first year here or...?" He let the question hang in the air, fully well knowing that it was possible not to run into someone at Hogwarts before this time. He had spent a good time of last year with his nose in his books or with his girlfriend.
Empty compartments could be hard to come by on this train sometimes, but Nem had somehow managed to find one without even actively going after it. Alright, so this one was probably being saved if the bags on the seats were anything to go by. But Nem had dealt with those and now the compartment was free real estate. For Pax too, when she caught up, unless she was busy toying with some unfortunate upperclassmen.
Flopping onto the seat nearest the window, Nem put their new-old-booted feet up on the opposite seat (way more comfortable now with the longer leg situation) and from the front of their denim jacket pulled the book they'd acquired from an unwitting contributor further back down the train. Wizards Are from Neptune, Witches Are from Saturn, the cover proclaimed, which was entertainment enough, though it sounded like utter drivel. Still, a lucky dip was a lucky dip.
Sticking one hand back into an oversized pocket of the faded black jacket, Nem set the book against their knees and started to flip leisurely through it.

See? Kizzy agreed, Hogwarts pets were boring. Everyone had them. That was all the reason she needed something different. Though being different had little to do with her choice. Emm had seen the dolls her auntie had and had seen what they could do. She'd gotten one from her when she was younger but this was Hogwarts. She wanted all the same things but in the form of a dragon.
Also, she loved when her friend got excited about her stuff. It made her more excited and validated a lot of her feelings. Kizzy did that without knowing, she made things feel right.
"I might take it to creatures class but first I have to ask the professor so I'm gonna go find him the VERY first day. Just in case, to make sure. Wanna come?" Couldn't have him confiscated. "He hasn't learned how to fly yet but we can teach him. Auntie Jessa says he'll be growing for a while and we can show him things but mum wouldn't let her fix him so he can breathe fire. Apparently that's too much responsibility." Emm concluded in mocking tone, obviously not agreeing with her mother.
What was the worst thing a fire breathing baby dragon could do?
Oh, but a moment of silence for Sweetpea. Emmerson reached over to drape an arm across Kinsay's shoulder, giving her a tight squeeze. She'd been there at the sleepover and couldn't believe her eyes. "She's in a better place now, where all the magic animals go when they vanish." Wherever that was.
"Hey! Why don't we share Artemis?? For this year anyway, then we can double super adorably beg Auntie Jessa to get you one, too! It'll be so much cooler than a regular toy or a pet and we don't have to feed them and they won't disappear. She'll make it JUST like a dragon. You've seen the cats." Once or twice probably at the manor when her aunt happened to be there with them, too. Undead as they were, they were no different than real cats (one technically a kneazle) in look, or behaviour.

He didn't mind someone joining him.
Eron saw the sixth year put his book away. Now he is giving this a second thought that maybe - just maybe he was interrupting the guy by being here. The Ravenclaw made his way in the empty seat opposite to where Noah was sitting. He placed his back right on his lap the moment he sat down and gave his acquaintance another smile. "It's not my first year here" he replied. It must be because Noah was a transferred student? Perhaps he was wrong but then again Eron was not the most noticeable person.
Eron then took out a plastic container prepared by his sister, Irithel for them to share for the entire train ride. Eron contemplated taking it out and opening it but Irithel was no where in this area of the train and she might be making new friends with other first years too. She's bound to forget she even prepared delectable snacks. With that logic, Eron opened the container and his eyes sparkled. BROWNIES with chocolate chip toppings. YUM.
"Do you like brownies?" he spoke up and looks at Noah pushing the container near him and offering him. Yes, they also smelled really good. Gooey and chocolatey. Irithel is the best sister ever. "My sister made them. They're really delicious" this is very true. He already ate 2 pieces of it with milk last night before going to bed.

Kinsay usually agreed. Well no, that wasn't entirely true, but she did usually agree with Emmerson. Especially when Emm got excited about stuff, it made Kizzy doubly excited too. That's why Emm was the greatest friend the world had to offer. No one else made her feel this charged with energy. It was talent.
"Smart," Kiz was impressed at the proactive thinking. Since dragons weren't on the list of approved pets. It would be VERY terrible to see Artemis get taken away. "Okay!" She nodded in delight, straightening her back. Kinsay hadn't planned to meet with any of her professors before classes started, but she'd obviously tag along with Emm. In case. Sometimes backup was good for these things. And they made a really good team. Begging for sleepovers made them professionals at garnering sympathy. It was another one of their skills. "We should teach him a new trick every day so that he'll know a zillion." It was really too bad about the fire though, Kiz made an appropriately sympathetic face to show that she was bothered by that too.
Honestly? In comparison, Sweetpea couldn't really do much of anything. So maybe Kiz wasn't as sad as she thought she was, but she did like the attention and kinds words. So. She soaked in it a little bit, you know? It wasn't a thing she often did, but sometimes it felt nice. "Yeah, you're right. Maybe she's in fish heaven." Which was a neat thought, though likely entirely untrue and made her laugh a little. If such a place did exist, Kinsay wanted to visit. Maybe she'd ask the creatures professor about that when she went with Emm.
She was still looking at the ground, thoughtfully, when Emm started idea-ing again. "REALLY!?" Yes, she was most definitely not sad anymore. Most definitely not envious anymore either. It was as if the last three minutes hadn't even happened because her WHOLE face had lit up at the proposal. "Oh, Emm, you're the best friend in the ENTIRE universe!" She gave her a tight hug to punctuate the point. "We can set up a bed for him in the dormitory and take him on walks and show him our routines..." The possibilities were just about endless. "And when Auntie Jessa makes me one, our dragons will be best friends too." In other words, Kiz was sold.

Ah! So he had been here for a while? Noah nodded. "Got it. Last year was my first year and I'm afraid I had my nose stuck in books," he laughed, running a hand through his hair as he sat awkwardly. Whooooooops. Oh well. "Guess I didn't get out much?" Between the whole translucency thing, trying to pass OWLS, and the girlfriend - the boy was swamped. "What house are you in?"
And then the other boy was OFFERING him BROWNIES? Noah generally wasn't a fan of sweets but those brownies smelled AMAZING. I have to watch my... he began and then disregarded the comment about watching his weight entirely. A smile was now plastered to his lips. "I do! They're my kryptonite," he said with a chuckle. "They smell really good. Thanks." He nodded, reaching into the container to fish a brownie out. He sniffed it, enjoying the chocolate goodness aroma. "Secret family recipe?"

Somehow summer had flown by, literally.
The U-17 season had been off the charts and even more time consuming thanks to his "upgrade" to captain. He hadn't totally hated it...which had so much more to do with the team than the sport or the role. He liked his teammates and it always felt good to be a part of something - even if the pressure at being at the helm was suffocating and only added to the weight pushing down on him that he was just waiting to snap his spine in two. But this was fine. It was always fine.
Yes.
He actually felt a bit of relief being on the Hogwarts Express...even if it meant running into people he might not otherwise wish to. It meant a breather from pops and that was way better than the prospect of being locked in a compartment with Luz for the duration of the ride... or Spencer (which he wouldn't mind, actually) ... or Maia...as things unfortunately were turning out. Ideally he would like to spend a bit of the ride with Eliza, but for the time being Josh was looking over the itinerary of suggestions from pops as to his work out regime and ways to elevate it. Along with those reminders he did not need reminding of as the man had ingrained them so firmly in his head (honestly, it was a wonder the man had not made him a recording of him repeating the phrasing to play while he slept...like those motivational tapes of yore) that the sixth year was SEEING the words while awake.
Scouting had gone well this summer and offers were already in pending his graduation.
This. Was. Fine.
He was nose deep in his reading (and whistling) and nearly slammed into some others coming down the corridor in the opposite direction, but thankfully Josh had those stage reflexes and performed a somewhat elaborate but relaxed ballet leap and spin out of the way of his peers...and right into the compartment currently occupied by a couple of girls and...a dragon?
Well, right into it after his shoulder had somewhat ricocheted off the half open half closed door with a dull thud.
But...d r a g o n?
Uh. UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH. He had heard STORIES about dragons from some of his friends and what had happened that term they went to the French school (whose name he could NOT pronounce for the life of him and always came out like...well...maybe these two would find out during conversation). Letting out a bit of a sheepish chuckle while whistling on an exhale, he grinned at both girls and tried to recover from the, er, theatrical way he had entered their compartment.
"Hey there," he greeted with his Boston accent as thick as ever. "So...that's a rockin' looking dragon....is it real?"
No? Please say no.

Hear that? Her friend thought she was smart. Smart AND she was coming with her to the professor so she wouldn't have to go alone and two pouting blonde girls was better than one and basically this was a solid plan.
As was teaching Artemis a zillion tricks. "Let's start with flying!" Emm said, bouncing once in her seat from the sudden bout of excitement that gripped her. They would be like dragon tamers nevermind he was only a toy!! Artemis did not appreciate being jostled, his wings flailing as he sought to regain balance. Emm helped him, her attention still mainly on Kizzy. "THEN when he can fly we can teach him to run errands for us!! He can fetch our clothes, pass notes between our beds, help us find things--we're gonna have the smartest baby dragon EVER!!"
And you know what else was good? Kizzy no longer being sad. Having nearly had the life squeezed out of her, she could now confirm that her friend was as happy as she was and was dead interested in getting a dragon. Best friend in the UNIVERSE. A little louder for the people in the back, please. "I'll help you pick out names--"
Emm's head whipped around when the compartment door suddenly opened. She wasn't the only one startled. Artemis screeched at the suddenly intrusion, his wings flapping vigorously despite his not knowing how to use them yet. The little dragon whirled around, making a beeline for the wide window.
"Kizzy! The window!" She yelled, trying to clutch the now fleeing dragon. Her hands only drove Artemis in the next direction, toward the boy who'd nearly TRAMPLED THEM. "The door!" She shouted at him. They had to seal the exits--something she'd DONE, before HE doofus-ed his way in. Forgot "hey", "Shut the door, moron!" Before it was too late.
Artemis flapped his way up to the boy's face, screeching as he did while he tried biting at him. Concern for the boy? No, concern her dragon would be loose in the train, yes.

Flying would be a fantastic place to start. Kizzy nodded in all her approval, bouncing just as much (if not more) than her counterpart. While the thought of taking care of a baby toy dragon was already exciting in its own right, Emm’s ideas made it even MORE exciting. Especially the thought of using it to pass notes and secret messages. ”That’s brilliant, Emm!!” Could they be at Hogwarts already?
The possibility that they wouldn’t be sorted into the same house wasn’t entirely lost on Kiz. But Phoebe said the hat lets you pick, so it shouldn’t be an issue. Kinsay James could be very convincing. So could Emm. They were the best team. That’s why Kiz would obviously welcome any and all naming input from her best—
Kinsay’s head whipped around too, her eyes widening as the dragon began hurrying towards the window. Without any hesitation, Kiz leaped towards it, throwing herself in front of the window and stretching her arms out wide to cover it. When the dragon switched directions, she made sure it was shut tightly and locked so well that not even a dragon could escape! That took all of two seconds. Then she turned to watch the scene before her.
Eyes wide and absolutely horrified. Though she wasn’t going to yell at him like Emm, she did her part by giving the intruder her best set of dagger eyes.
Partially to support Emmerson, partially because she was very concerned for Artemis’ well being, BUT also because this guy was RUINING THE PLAN!! The perfect plan to have the best compartment with Emm and Emma and Matty and Sammy and cousin Cooper and Phoebe and Teddy.
”YEAH!” She chimed in after Emm. To solidify the urgency of this disaster situation and his overall moron-ness. Obviously very helpful.

[B]Ingrid smiled as she listened to Ashley talk about her cat. Even despite it being a normal tabby, Ingrid couldn’t help but lean forward with interest. She really did have a love for all things in the natural word and that included the muggle world. “A Kneazle is a type of magical creature” she replied, a smile on her face now as she grabbed her copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them to show her. “They ones that have been bread with muggle cats can kind of pass for a normal cat but the full kneazle is a little more dangerous and highly intelligent” she continued, a smile on her face as she practically quoted the book without looking at it.
“I want to be in Ravenclaw!” although if she asked a few months ago, she would have said Slytherin but now with Vi not coming back to Hogwarts, that had all changed. “You might not be those things now but that doesn’t mean you won’t be in the future” , although she sure hoped she was smart enough for Ravenclaw. She certainly didn’t feel like it at the moment though.

Ashley agreed. "True enough. You probably will be in Ravenclaw anyway, remembering all that kneazle stuff. Hey, I love that book!" It was one of the wizard books that she had actually read, and she thought it was cool. Because she thought that all books on plants, animals, water stuff, or healing were cool. "I don't think she's partly a kneazle, but she is still smart. Definitely not dangerous though. I think so, anyway."
