Default Underground Chambers

Opening a well-hidden door in the dungeons allows you access to the many underground chambers beneath the castle. While this discovery may be exciting, it is important to move forward with caution -- hopefully you've come along with some friends, just in case something should go terribly wrong. No, you've thankfully not stumbled upon the Chamber of Secrets. But only Merlin knows what you'll find here.

You start off in a chamber containing a dusty table where seven bottles once rested. Whether you find that interesting or not, it is the two doors present in the room that play at your curiosity. Going through one door will take you into an antechamber that leads to a much bigger room. Here a large mirror can be found, which will reveal something interesting about yourself if you stand in front of it properly. The other door, however, stems off into a series of chambers. First you find yourself in a spacious room, though there isn't much to be seen besides a thick layer of dust (with a dash of decayed troll bone) on the floor. Carrying onward, a giant chess board is revealed (to play a life-sized game, one need only cast Reparo on the mutilated pieces) and then a room filled with an array of winged keys. Lastly is a chamber that is relatively harmless ... as long as the blue flames remain lit.

Perhaps you've learned about this place once in history class? It all seems oddly familiar. Hmm.

Cassie was listening to the others and she glanced at the book not even sure that she remembered hearing about it, but it could have been talked about before she had joined the group. All she knew was she had just been trying to get the kitty up to safety when she wanted saw them all.

She was quiet until she heard the hello. Looking around she couldn't really figure out where it was coming from and she couldn't really make out the feelings she was feeling. Animals were chattering but she wasn't being able to focus down here with everything. All her thoughts were interrupted when she heard someone saying hello, "It might be a student lost." All the students had to be scared and not sure what was going on if all the castle felt the fall and were now not solid.

"Mr. Raine, what else does that book say?"

Bernie was a little bit scared and also confused about how the shrimp tempura spell had caused this all. "Can I see the book?" she piped up, wiggling over toward the Headmaster and the Divination Professor. She didn't really hear the voice and wasn't too concerned about it, but she did want to know, with a glance toward Sunny Suspicious Raine, "How come you had a book this whole time and never mentioned it?"

Couldn't they have been prevented from turning transparent, at least? She caught sight of her own hands again and let out a small SHRIEEEEEK of terror.

follow me; everything is all right.

The voice was persistent.

"Hello?" It beckoned again. "Hello? Follow my voice." Wherever it was coming from, it sounded as if it was moving further away. There was no mistaking it. It was a call to come along.

"Can you hear me?"

Hello?

Hello?
You know what Isla's mom always said? STRANGER DANGER. You know who wasn't here right now? ISLA'S MOM. The second year sighed. "I think I'm going to follow the voice," she announced, although it was more to herself than to anybody who might have heard her.

I mean, what did she have to lose? THE WHOLE WORLD...ALL OF IT...was gone. She was transparent. The whole school was FALLING DOWN.

"I can hear you! I'm on my way!" she said. She probably looked super silly right now, but like she said earlier, what did she have to lose? She was so determined to follow the voice now that she wasn't even focused on how dangerous this was. It was odd, but her heart wasn't even pounding at a faster rate. She was almost calm about this.

Without another word, the second year turned and headed in the direction of where she thought the voice might be.

Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite

When the Gryffindor prefect showed up, Malachi thought maybe it had been her they were hearing but Ronald mentioned it coming from down the corridor and the others...more or less confirmed that there was a voice. Should they follow? The man barely had time to answer before Belldome took off.

The man blinked after the retreating figure of the young Slytherin, trying to figure out how much longer he would have to preach common sense before it started sinking in with his students.

Trent took a deep, steadying breath. Whoever was calling wanted to be followed. They would not run off alone and unprotected, they would do this safely.

He would deal with the Slytherin when he caught up. For now, “Stay close everyone. Anyone else who runs off will help Bellcharm scrub the dungeons til your raw.” Malachi turned toward the exit and began walking. “Eyes peeled. If you see anything extra strange, don’t wait, yell. Whatever it takes. Come on then.”

Sunny Raine had done something. Whatever he’d done, they would need to fix it but first they would need to figure out what. Going without magic left him feeling vulnerable as merlin knew what but at the moment, it couldn’t be helped.

Hadn't he mentioned it? "Could've sworn I said something about it." His noggin was not functioning at ultimate capacity. His memories were quite the jumbled mess, like a lazily curated poutine. This also explained the fact that he couldn't recall what else the book had said. It was almost as if his 'fix it' spell had made things worse.

He shrugged in response to the professors question, but did helpfully motion towards the Ravenclaw prefect and the headmaster who now had possession of the book. Lousy piece of literature though. The spell didn't even work. Thankfully the voice was drawing away from that and Sunny was all to enthusiastic to follow the crowd towards the voice. He followed the crowd without any hesitation.
