There's a desk, there's bookshelves, the walls are lined with portraits of past Headmasters and Headmistresses as is the custom. Nothing out of the ordinary here.
On the large, wooden desk sits several pictures of a woman with a bright and enchanting smile. Some pictures had (if you asked the Headmaster) the cutest children ever to be created in the history of man's creation. One picture contains these beautiful people and Trent himself. Not all the pictures are still. The little girl in one picture blows kisses occasionally and the little boy who is clearly the older of the pair occasionally breaks into a grin in his own frame. It was his mother's grin, could you tell? Did you need a closer look? Don't smudge the glass and don't leave fingerprints, that's just inconsiderate. Look with your eyes and not your hands.
This is usually where you'll find the Headmaster, getting through some important paper work or making plans. It's of course, not a guarantee he'll be up here as the man does have a habit of wandering. Sitting still for hours was never his strong suit.
If you wish you speak with him, approach the stone gargoyles and have yourself a nice wait. They're not likely to let you in without the password and only the Headmaster and his staff are privy to that bit of information. Don't break them trying to force your way in anyway. They've been here since long before you were born and won't appreciate that kind of abuse. There's ways of trying to let yourself in that would prove to be less a nuisance--not that you're encouraged to. Whatever you've got to discuss with Headmaster Trent can't be THAT pressing. What's a five minute wait?

"They don't care, I told ya!" More ha ha ha's here. "You know, like," she tilted her head up at the ceiling as she was thinking and then back down to Aboli, "it's like if I talked about nargles all the time, people would think I was nuts? Well if they were to talk about m a g i c and my ~ m a g i c a l ~ boarding school to their friends, they FOR SURE would be hauled off to the loony bin." She laughed a little maniacally now. "So I don't have to threaten them at all. Just the fact that I go to HOG-warts is embarrassing enough." And wasn't the name itself kind of embarrassing? Like, boils on a pig?! C'mon!!!1
Bernie blinked at the head tap and advice coming from Aboli. Gosh, she almost sounded like a PREFECT. "Okay," she replied with FAR less glee. She DID note, however, that Aboli didn't know HOW her dad died, so, it was ENTIRELY possible that he DID die in a glorious battle-duel with some aurors.
Bernie was sticking to that story in her head.
She nodded along as they walked and blinked and nodded. "Those are kinda dumb rules." Right??????! Er, WERE they? Bernie's older brother had a lot of tattoos but she didn't, but she DID have her ears pierced, but only once, but also, she hadn't ever tried ASKING for those things, so... "Oh I can't have a pet EITHER," she pointed out cheerfully. "My mum's a nurse and a neat freak about cleaning and she says we all have ALLERGIES to ALL animals, even fish."
SIIIIIIIIGH. Bernadette was too busy sighing to notice the no-hands thing. Um, Blake, her only other friend, liked holding her hand? SO??! "We're almost HEEEEEEEEEEEEREEEEEEEE!"
That face!fall did not go unnoticed by Aboli. She felt a little bad for her, honestly, but she figured her honesty would be better in the long run. Hadn't she told Noah it was usually better to be honest unless you're trying to get out of trouble with an adult? Mhmm. But she thought she understood. "Yeah. All my friends at home are muggles because...since I was homeschooled, I didn't very well have SCHOOL friends so...I had to not talk about stuff either. You think Hogwarts is embarrassing?" Or attending was? Aboli scoffed at that. It was NOT embarrassing, Bernie, it was COOL couldn't she SEE THAT? "Even if you feel alone when you're home, when you're HERE...you've got so many other people like you. THAT is why I like Hogwarts." To an extent.
So Bernadette's mum was a nurse, which was...interesting. "So she had to go to lots of schooling then. My mum's a therapist." she said with a nod...among other things. But anyway.
HERE THEY WERE.
The ~STONE GARGOYLES~! Aboli thought they looked rather grand and majestic. "How do we...knock...do we just....wait?" she shot the Gryffindor a quizzical look. "ALSO, when you said you wanted me to ask him...I was going to do so iN CLASS, Bernadette. Not traipse all the way here to bother him...but...alas. I'm sure he has nothing ELSE to do."
Ha?

"No, I don't think Hogwarts is embarrassing. My SIBLINGS think that. They've told me, straight to my face, multiple times." She looked down at the ground again. Hogwarts was all Bernie had going for her, y'know? This was why she was desperate NOT to be expelled. She just nodded along to Aboli, who was actually quite reassuring; even though she'd started off like a grouchy Aboli Ravioli, she ended up being nice, more like Aboli Macaroni.
Oh! "That makes sense," Bernie beamed at her. See, Aboli Macaroni was therapist-like too! Even if Bernie had never talked to a real therapist because let's be honest, she could use one. "Er, not THAT much schooling." Bernie wrinkled her nose. Had her mum even gone to a real university? Her dad DEFINITELY hadn't. He looked down on it, like he was bitter that he could never afford it. Bernie wasn't so sure about uni and schooling herself, even if she DID LOVE all her classes and teachers at Hogwarts.
AnyWHO, hehe, they were HEEEEEEERE. "Hello, Mister Gargoyle sir," Bernie leaned in and petted the creature on the head. "You're a nice gargoyle, arencha? Much nicer than those stuffy FRENCH gargoyles, like OGOTT." She still had a problem with him, by the way. "Can you tell Mister Headmasterman that we're here to ask him a question?"
She straightened up and shot Aboli Ronzoni another sassy!Grantham LOOK. "Um, yeah, but you know how grumpy he is in class." She shook! her! head! no! "After that kelpie lesson? Nuh uh, we gotta be GOOD in class." And, er, out of class, too, in her case. So. Bernie straightened her tie and her skirt and her jumper and did her best to look tidy and organized, even if her hair and fringe, in particular, were as messy as ever.
"So, remember, we're just here to inquire where the Founders portraits went...." Ahem. They had a script and they were stickin' to it, right?! Right.

He could ignore them. Pretend the gargoyles hadn’t alerted him. Sit at his desk and continue going over the hundreds of things that had found themselves there. It was possible. The only problem there was...pretending they weren’t there didn’t make them disappear. Grantham being one of the visitors, she was likely to stay.
With a bit of reluctance, the Headmaster has the gargoyles bring them up, not inclined to get up and head down the spiral stairs.
Did he want to know? Probably not, but the Gryffindor had been behaving and Song hadn’t given him reason to threaten her with expulsion yet.
Maybe this was fine.

The more Aboli heard about her muggle-y siblings, the more Aboli thought they deserved her sympathy less and less. Pffft. They seemed like not the cool sort of muggles. And Aboli thought all nurses had a ton of school.. but who knew. Aboli wasn't going to beeee one of those people so! SHRUG.
Why...was Bernie talking to a gargoyle? Aboli was very confused until Bernadette asked it to notify Headmaster Trent of their arrival..oh. They were messengers. Fascinating, this castle was. "I don't think he's grumpy...he keeps telling me to loosen up whenever I see him," she furrowed her brows. She supposed the only times she saw him were when she was in class - where she was uptight - and at that Gryffindor/Slytherin....bonding thing, which...ha! Aboli had also felt supremely uncomfortable and uptight. So. Maybe he had a point.
Not to mention that recently, Fiona had ALSO told her to lighten up, and so she was beginning to wonder if she was SUPER TENSE and had no idea and MAYBE that's why she was always SUPER UNCOMFORTABLE. Hmph. It was something to think on.
"...Are we supposed to go up? I'm a little nervous. He doesn't hate me yet. You should go first. He kinda hates you already. But I'll do the talking. Promise." She gave the Gryffindor a slight nudge.

For the record, Bernadette would have brought a sleeping bag and snacks and would have, indeed, had herself a campout by the stone gargoyles ALL DAY and ALL NIGHT if that's what it took to see the Headmaster. She was just SUCH a GOOD, determined SCHTUDENT. CLEARLY a favorite of his.
Interesting that Aboli didn't find him grumpy... and he told HER she was uptight?! Well, she did do that whole 'don't hold hands with me or call me Bali,' or whatever thing. Bernie just shrugged too, accepting the possibility that the Headmaster hated her like everyone else and then WHEEEHEHEHEE! It was time to go ON UP!
Bernie gleefully led the way, but didn't say anything exactly when they arrived in the Headmaster's office. She just cleared her throat politely, nodded to the Headman, and then looked around a bit as she waited to be dismissed and/or offered a seat.
Hmhmhmhm. Anything new in here this year?

If they were only going to stand there....he supposed....he’d just get back to what he was doing. The Headmaster nodded his acknowledge to the girls before turning his gaze back to a report that had been sent in earlier that day. Troubling reports, more troubling than the former Rainbow Truffles and Song standing there like he’d been the one to summon them and they were now waiting to find out why.
One of them would find their tongue—neither was shy afterall and if they’d sought him out, it was obviously because they had something to say.
Whether he wanted to know what was a different matter but here he was, listening. At the end of his sentence, he looked to them again, one brow raised. “Yes?”

The walk into the castle and toward the headmaster's office felt like it took three years. Isla had had enough time to go over everything in her head, and she was pretty sure somebody was going to be getting into trouble about something. She just wasn't sure who. Not her, though. She'd done all the right things to keep Mystery Man away, while Kitt Lazarus had done everything in his power to spill the beans. Sigh...Kitt was her friend, though...she thought...so she wouldn't tell unless the weatherman did. For now, all Trent needed to know what that there was an intruder on the grounds.
She just hoped Kitt and Jina were safe out there and hadn't been kidnapped and thrown into a dungeon by now. But anyway, back to their little mission of sorts. Once she came upon the stone gargoyles, she looked up at them. "So what now?" she asked Avalon. "Do we just yell on up at 'im and hope he hears?" What would they say? Wasn't there a code for this kind of thing? CODE FOUR ON THE GROUNDS! Or something like that. She shifted her weight from one foot to the other as she waited for Avalon to chime in with some great idea.

As it turned out, Kitt Lazarus' shortcut ended up being a longcut and Sunny was properly out of breath by the time they reached this place. Sunny doubled over to catch his breath real quick. Despite what you may think, this body was not what it was ten years ago. "Sounds like a good plan to me," he chimed in breathlessly from behind to answer the girl's question.
Sunny didn't know, but he did give them both a charming smile.
During the walk from the gates to the Headmaster's Office, Avalon racked her brain to determine how she would explain this disaster to Trent. 'There's a weird reporter man with an oxymoronic name lurking around by the front gates trying to get some dirt about Hogwarts from innocent students' seemed a little unbelievable. And she was also worried about possibly getting in trouble. But she knew it was the right thing to do to report the stranger.
Avalon glanced at the entryway, raising her eyebrows. It wasn't until now that she realized that she had never actually been to the Headmaster's office before and had no idea how to get in. She was about to reply to Isla when she heard footsteps behind her, turning around to see none other than Weather Guy himself.
MERLIN, he had followed them! Oh, they were definitely going to get in trouble now. She slapped her hand to her forehead and ran her hand through her hair, puffing out a breath of frustration. Why did she know that this had something to do with Kitt letting the guy into the castle?
But Avalon didn't have time to waste. Shaking her head slightly, she peered at the gargoyles. That was probably the way inside. "Hello. Can we please see Headmaster Trent? There's a.....pressing matter that we need his help with," she said to the stone statues. A stranger in the castle counted as a pressing matter, right? She hoped this was the way inside. If not, it would mean that she just made a complete fool out of herself by talking to inanimate objects.

She followed Bernie up the steps, her eyes going this way and that as she took in the "scenery." It was very stone-y. She wondered if it affected his mental health at all. All dark and cool and stuff. Everyone needed some OUTSIDE AIR eventually, but she supposed he got that when he taught lessons.
She cleared her throat and waited to be spoken to because she didn't want to appear to be rude or forthcoming or anything. "Well, Headmaster, I wasn't here, so I am not concerned with this...but...Bernadette here was very worried about the...apparent portraits of the founders from last term. And I said just to make extra sure we were ALL safe...that we would check with YOU that they were..in a safe place....you know..probably locked away....in here.....right?" She felt her ears turn red. "I wanted to ask you in pass in the corridor - or in class - but poor Bernadette INSISTED she was so scared so ..." Yeah. Here they were.
Aboli felt stupid but also a bit of adrenaline because...well, this was kinda fun. She smiled over at Bernie. See? He didn't hate them at all. Not yet, anyhow.

Bernie wasn't fidgeting and scooting closer and trying to peep one of the moving photos on the Headmaster's desk. Not a bit. No, she hadn't at all taken a few cat-like steps closer to eyeball him and the photos and whatever he was reading. Looking at this all DID remind her of something she'd made a few days ago, though, and she took it out of her pocket and unfolded it to give it a second appraisal.
Hmhmhmhm. Bernie silently set the meme down on the Headmaster's desk, near where he was reading, FULLY AWARE of her invasion of his personal space, and then took a few BIG big steps back from him. Because Aboli Pesto was talking, and now she had to go along with her story--- hey wait, did she say Bernie was SCARED?! The GRYFFINDOR side-eyed the older girl but didn't correct her........yet.
"See, I thought the founders might know something about the strange weather we've been having, sir," Bernie contributed in a very quiet, but oddly academic voice. Not a bit of stuttering or fear in HER tone, ahem. "Just... out of concern, I thought we could check with you."
Concern, yes. Concern for the castle and its inhabitants. Not out of self-placed interest, or boredom, or sadness, or any other emotion. Hem hem.

There was an awkward sort of silence that settled around them as Isla waited to see how they were supposed to get the message to Trent. Honestly, he needed some kind of better system here. Or some posted directions or a little guidance here and there? Something.
Just as she was about to call out to Trent and see if he'd hear her, Isla heard footsteps pounding behind them, and she turned around expecting to see anybody but Sunny Raine himself. Her eyes widened in shock, and she patted her arm to check that her wand was indeed there. Good. It was.
Avalon might be a bit more willing to warn Trent in a nice and polite manner, but Isla had her guards up. "Mr. Sunny Raine is here to see you. Says he wants to talk to you about unusual weather," she said to Trent. KITT LAZARUS LET HIM IN! Speaking of which, WHERE was Kitt? As enthusiastic as he'd been to share everything with this stranger, Isla found it odd that he wasn't here with him.

They came...about the portraits...?
Right.
"They're safe." Came his simple but elusive response. If that was all they were worried about, there was no need for further information, least of all when a certain Gryffindor hadn't been known for exercising common sense and good judgement. A part of him could SEE Grantham releasing the portraits again, even by accident, and it was enough to keep his response that brief.
This wasn't so bad. If this was all they'd come for, he'd been worried for nothing.
And what was this Grantham had slipped onto his desk? Trent lifted the paper. Read. choked coughed to contain himself then cleared his throat. Despite his best efforts, a smile spread across his features despite the grief he'd had over the lesson. This....this was going up on the classroom door. "I do hope this is mine to kee--"
More of them?
Malachi listened to the message. Pressing matter? What in Merlin's beard was a Sunny Raine?
He supposed he'd find out in a minute as he gave a flick of his wand to have the students brought up.
Now then, "Was there anything else you decided to make your concern?" He asked the pair currently in his office.

Aboli's eyes snapped to whatever Bernie set down on his desk - WAS THAT A MEME SHE MADE IN MUGGLE STUDIES?! She hoped that didn't get them detention - oh - Headmaster Trent liked it. Well. Good. He had a sense of humor, see? Aboli knew he wasn't as mean as Bernie made him out to be.
"Yes..the weather has been odd - but why would the paintings know, Bernadette?" she asked, RAISING her eyebrows, mentally sending her a signal to SHUT UP. Too obvious, Bernie, too OBVIOUS.
But there was some sort of commotion going on, like, was someone else coming up? Raining on their parade? What? "Someone here to talk about the weather..." she muttered, then snapped out of it when Headmaster Trent asked if they had anymore concerns. Er, making anything else their concerns. "No............not really......but it seems maybe it's not only Bernadette concerned about the weather, sir." She shrugged. "I just thought it was Hogwarts being Hogwarts."

Isla was a bit taken aback when the entrance to the office was suddenly opened. Somebody, somewhere must have heard them. Hopefully Trent. With Sunny Raine wandering about on the grounds completely uninvited, there was no telling who else they'd find roaming about.
Then a million and one possible scenarios flashed through Isla's mind. Nearly all of them resulted in either a very mad or a very disappointed Trent. She didn't want to be on the receiving end of either. Nevertheless, she was stuck in the middle of this situation, and the only way out was up those stairs.
"I'll lead the way. You want to come along behind Mr. Raine?" she asked, looking at Avalon. If he was a true STRANGER DANGER, then maybe being sandwiched in between two kids with wands would deter him. Probably not, but okay. Also, Avalon did have her wand, right?
Hoping that the two were following along, Isla stepped up the stairs. "The Headmaster is right this way," she told Raine. Please don't kill me, Trent. Remember, Kitt Lazarus let 'im in! This was one of those situations where you had no clue if you'd made the right decision or not. With all the luck she was having this school year, this was probably 100000% the wrong decision.

Safe, but safe wheeeeeeeeeeerrrreeeeeeee? Bernie wanted to know. NEEDED to know. She had a feeling she would be pushing her luck, though, if she asked, and plus, the Headmaster had personally been victimized by Godric Gryffindor and herself last year, so....
She was, again, very glad Aboli was here. "Of course. It's yours." The meme was ALL his to keep. She nodded deeply to the Headmasterman and MAYBE even smiled a tiny bit herself. He was smiling too?!?? She blinked away from the Headmaster and blink-blink-blinked at Aboli instead, FINALLY catching the clue to shuddup. OKAY, NOT SAYING ANYTHING ELSE, THEN.
Bernie folded her hands behind her back and maybe even crossed her fingers, too, hoping that whoever was coming upstairs next was INTERESTING and EXCITING. "No, no other concerns sir, except...." Bernie's face took on a slightly worried look. "Now we're concerned about who's making such a NOISE coming up your stairs...."
Gosh, it sounded like Isla????!? Was she running with scissors swords again?

Avalon flinched as the gargoyles moved to reveal the entrance to the office. She was honestly quite surprised that their request had worked. Isla had been a bit more direct with her approach, but Avalon didn't mind. There was probably no sense beating around the bush at this point. They were already standing with a stranger in the middle of the castle, for Merlin's sake.
At Isla's suggestion to 'block' the reporter in, Avalon nodded her head. Not that she would really know what to do if the guy tried anything suspicious on the way up, but it was a good idea nonetheless. The Ravenclaw took a step back as Isla began to make her way up the stairs, prepared to follow the weather man from behind. She had a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach. But it was too late to leave now - she was fully engrossed in this situation.
What a great kid, this Kitt Lazarus was! Led Sunny right up to the castle. Shame they took so long getting here though, almost fell behind and missed their chance to get a word with the guy in charge. That would’ve been a real shame, but Sunny was all sunshine and smiles because here they all were. Waiting to meet the man in charge.
Sunny didn’t mind waiting because he knew that there was a phenomenal scoop waiting for him right on the other side of—Well, on the otherwise of whatever these gargoyles were hiding! When they opened way, Sunny was just as patient. He didn't mind that the smallest kiddo wanted to head up first. He let her take the lead before gesturing to Kitt to go ahead. Sunny followed right behind Mr. Lazarus, taking his quill out from his head and pulling out his notebook once again. Didn't wanna miss anything important when they finally made it up.
She could NOT believe that Kitt invited the stranger into the castle when they kind of agreed as a group to avoid doing that! After a shocked pause, during which she considered her options - 1) to go with them, 2) stay at the entrance gates (seemed pointless), or 3) return to the common room and pretend nothing happened - she decided to follow the group. She couldn't just leave the young kids alone with Mr Raine. She was afraid that Trent would give them all detention for bringing an investigative journalist to his office, but perhaps she could help to explain things. Also, she was curious to find out what exactly the weather man was trying to do. Was he simply aiming to get a good story about the purple-red sky situation, or did he have more evil intentions? He evaded a lot of their questions at the gates, so they did not get to learn much about him.
Jina ran down the corridor, just in time to see Avalon walk up the stairs after Sunny Raine. Calming her breath, she followed the younger Ravenclaw into the headmaster's office.
Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite
The Headmaster shifted his suspicious gaze between the pair, thinking there might have been more to the asking than what they'd actually asked and it was all the more reason to keep the knowledge of the new resting place of the portraits to himself. It was for the best. No need to make them the reason for the next major disaster that would inevitably strike the castle. They were welcome.
They also didn't seem to have much else to discuss. If there was nothing else he could save them from....
Oh Merlin, this was a lot more people. Malachi watched with raised brows as Bellchant then a man and Lazarus, then Sinclair then Morin piled into his office. Um....yeah no he had questions.
Ignoring the girls for the moment....and...Lazarus with that eager look on his face like he knew a secret and was BURSTING to spill, Trent looked to the grown man who'd follwed a bunch of students into his office. "What can I do for you, Mr.....Raine?" An ironic name, given all that was currently happening outside.
In a minute, he'd begin asking the students because someone had some explaining to do.
"Close the door." Whoever was closest could take care of that.

As Isla ascended the stairs, she suddenly became aware that there were way more than three people coming up the stairs. How had she missed Kitt being here? And Jina? She guessed they'd run after Sunny Raine when he'd entered the castle, but that was a conversation for later.
Since she'd started up the stairs first, she was the first to enter the office. Ohh, Bernie and Aboli? Interesting. She passed her friend (Bernie) a quick glance before moving out of the way so the others could come in.
Trent had ignored them for the time-being, which was okay with Isla, because that meant she wasn't getting into trouble. For now, at least. Her big mouth wanted to launch into a whole spiel of stories, but one, she was terrified of Trent and was just fine with not saying anything at all; and two, he'd asked for Raine to speak first.
Alright, Mr. Intruder Mystery Man Weatherman! You're turn! Isla was just glad she was here for this little party of sorts. She was nosey and loved sitting in on a good story waiting to unfold.
That...was quite a bit of people stepping into the office. Aboli blinked a few times as she eyed the.....gentleman the girls and Kitt had brought up here. "You all brought a RANDOM MAN in here?! How did a random man GET INTO THE SCHOOL?!" she asked, GLARING at the Sunny Raine man, her hands on her hips.
Not that it was her place. But she felt a little IRATE about that. That was NOT SAFE right? Much like Isla, though, she was very nosy, and so she pushed the door shut with her foot.
THIS FELT LIKE MADNESS THOUGH.
Also, still glaring at YOU suspiciously, Mr. Raine. "Are you going to use ROUGH METHODS on him now, Headmaster Trent, to make sure he's not someone evil in DISGUISE?" Aboli CROSSED HER ARMS. Trent had to know what she was talking about. MAKING HIM TALK? WITH ROUGH METHODS? Duh.

First thing he did when he walked up was take note of how gorgeous the place was. The whole castle was gorgeous! Enough on that though, his attention was on the people. The people who would give him his big break. The real reason why he had trekked all the way over to this side of the globe.
Random man, though? Sunny chuckled. He was unbothered by the glaring, there wasn’t anything to worry about! He was as harmless as they came. The only weapon he had in tow was his quill! He flashed a smile at the uneasy students before giving his full attention to the other adult in the room. ”Naaaaah, call me Sunny,” he smiled easily as if speaking to an old friend. Mr. Raine was too formal, no need. They were all chums here. ”I’m here to report on the weather. Now, I know I’m a bit early, but Kitt over here has given me reason to believe exciting things are already underway.” He nudged good ol’ Kitt with his elbow. "Now, between you and me, I'll need as much detail as I can get. I'll need to stick around for a few weeks at least, but I want to ensure you that you have absolutely nothing to worry about. I'll lay low, you won't even know I'm here." So? What'd he say?
Professor Pink | Mrs. Bruce Wayne | I'm on a Goat | Glitterpuff | Dumbledore's Defense Squad | BHB
Heehehehehee, Bernie was actually a bit amused to hear Aboli using her Stern Older Student (aka her Chef Boyardee) voice on all these other kids entering the Headmaster's office now. She liked Isla, and Kitt, and thus wasn't TOO surprised to see them tangled up with this..........erm, random man here, but she WAS surprised that Jina and Avalon were bringing him in, so to speak. Did they think they were a buncha aurors or what? They shoulda AT LEAST used incarcerous on him before dragging him in for the interrogation....
Oooh, ROUGH METHODS! Yes! Let's rough him up! Bernie clapped her hands softly at this suggestion from Aboli Bertoli. Yes, sir, I think you should ask him to write 50 inches of parchment on why he's here, she thought, her mouth falling open to say just that, but catching herself just in time. Someone else was speaking now and on second thought, she didn't really have the courage to due to the fact that she had to stop being an idiot in front of Trent and all.
Ahem.
Bernie's eyes actually widened as the man introduced himself. Aww, what kind of accent was that? He sounded harmless. Friendly, even. BUT! This Lion had learned her lesson from that one time when she just blindly took orders from Godric Gryffindor. Her blue peepers flicked from 'Sunny Raine,' (if that was even a name) over to the Headmaster and then back to 'Sunny Raine.'
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
"But where will you stay, 'MisTeR RaiNe?'" she inquired, doing air quotes with her fingers like the adults did and everything. She'd been trying to figure out where the professors lived all term anyway. Just ask Schmoe.
AND, not to Raine on the weatherman's parade, and also, not to intrude, because the Headmaster TOTALLY had this, but, "What exciting things are underway?"
SEE? SEE WHY THEY SHOULD BE ASKING Godric Gryffindor THE FOUNDERS WHAT WAS UP WITH THE WEATHER? It was a lame excuse to see the portraits, Bernie knew this, so she MOSTLY stayed quiet here. Though now she was staring at Kitt Lazarus and wondering what HE had told the weatherman??!?
