 If you are eager to see, be seen, and get to London first, then the front passenger cars of the train are for you. Just like the other cars, a long corridor provides access to the many compartments, each labelled with a letter, available for you and your friends to hunker down in until the train has come to a complete stop. Cushioned seats and large windows, allowing perfect views of the British scenery on your journey, await.
Well, what are you waiting for? Slide open a compartment door and make yourself at home. Place any of your belongings not in the luggage car on the racks above you. Chat with your friends about what your summer plans, enjoy munching on the snacks you bought from the trolley lady, get ahead of the game by exchanging addresses, or take a long nap as the train travels over numerous hills and mountainsides. Whatever you do, exhibit your best behaviour -- the prefects will be regularly patrolling the corridors and poking their heads inside your compartment to make sure you are doing so.

MAYBE the prefects would wander past and harass Phoebe James for sitting upside down alone in a car, seeming very unladylike as she crunched into Bertie Botts beans juuuuust enough that they were wet and sticky and then flung them to stick to the windows leading back into the corridor. Maybe they would... and maybe she cared. Who knew?
What Phoebe knew was that she was waiting for her PEOPLE and she was bored and she had 16 beans sticking to the window and 14 more stuck to the carpet... and she was sort of regretting this game when her stomach growled.

That was when she wandered past the compartment and did a double take at sight of her younger housemate there .... upside down.
So Carsyn did what Carsyn did best ... she knocked lightly before sliding the compartment door open and put her head down to her knees, looking between her legs to look at Phoebe from the same direction. "You do realize you can choke on beans if you eat them upside down ...." She said, not really in a scolding way, but just to be informative.

Carsyn made a face, imagining the horror and screams if someone who despised bugs or creepy crawlies were to walk in on this compartment on September 1st. When Phoebe sat up, Carsyn took that as her cue to sit up as well, grateful when the blood rushed back downwards, her thick, long brown hair flipped like in one of them muggle commercials.
She made a face at Phoebe's next comment, confused. Or maybe it was the blood in her brain still. "I am? What's wrong with chocolate frogs?" that was what the comment was about, right?

Giving the prefect a hard time MIGHT be Phoebe's new favorite hobby, and she was now officially looking forward to coming back next term. It really didn't take much to make her happy, did it? "I don't want to know those bug haters."
She wasn't cleaning that mess up, by the by. She was going to cross her legs and fold her arms and refuse to pick up any of the beans on the carpet. "There is NOTHING wrong with chocolate frogs, Miss Prefect. They were near chocolate perfection with a magical flourish. But there is a problem with hating bugs. They have mums and dads and cousins and baby bugs. BABY BUGS, Prefect Rose."

Carsyn stared in confusion at the younger lion when she proceeded to tell her chocolate frogs were okay, but the problem was in hating bugs. "I ... don't hate bugs."
