| | |  Fifth-Floor Corridor
 To some the fifth-floor corridor is arguably home to the more interesting corridors at Hogwarts. While it too is decorated with long carpets and various portraits, the statues are just as memorable as the unique nooks and crannies that can be found here. Each of the doors look identical and are evenly spaced out, which can make finding certain rooms difficult. Hopefully that doesn't make you late to Ancient Runes. You know that won't go over well.
In the event that you have some spare time on your hands, do allow yourself to freely wander about -- just don't get lost like Boris the Bewildered. Roaming around, you will see that this particular corridor goes around The Quad and that there is a balcony overlooking the inside of the Clock Tower. Deeper into the fifth floor a casual reading lounge, a storeroom, and an upper hall can be found in addition to Classroom 5B, fondly known for being the headquarters for the Wizard Card Collectors' Club. With a keen eye, who knows what you will find on this floor of the castle!

So Aboli had heard it was on this corridor. What was on this corridor?
The prefects bathroom.
It wasn't that she was trying to go in. THAT was against the rules. She just wanted to see its location for herself and perhaaaaaps take a peak inside as a prefect came out of it.
Easy enough, right?
And so, Aboli perched against the wall near the middle of the corridor and read the book she had ahem legally checked out from the library about ancient seers and divination practices that were outdated. Exciting stuff for her, really. Nevermind that she was transparent - that was fine. Aboli kept joking with people that she had always wanted to be a ghost, and here she was...an unofficial one. Would they be able to walk through walls and stuff soon? Because that would be the coolest part.
But...she did hope they'd get to go home by summer? Please?

Missa had been going somewhere - only she wasn't sure where.
To a class? Back to her dorm? To meet someone?
Frustrated with this on-going forgetfulness, she stopped somewhere in the middle of the corridor and found herself needing to CURSE loud - and she would have if she hadn't stopped to look around and make sure no one was around.
...
But obviously today was not her day. Because there was Aboli; a girl in the habit of adding to her frustrations whenever she opened her mouth.
Suspicious, and let's be real - feeling irrational, she found herself walking up to the girl, "bit of an odd place to do some reading, don't you think?"

As if on cue, here came a looovely prefect. Only, Aboli didn't think Missa was all that lovely. She was annoying. Judgmental and a KNOW IT ALL and whatnot - no matter, the Slytherin thought she would do.
"Going to turn me in for reading, are we?" she asked with an eyebrow raise. "Wasn't aware it was against the rules." Could Missa HEAR the sarcasm in her tone? "But while you're here - you're a prefect, right? Been looking for one." She scrambled up, closing her book, and nodded. "Isn't the prefects bathroom on this floor?" she asked, tilting her head to the side curiously.
Everyone knew the toppest top secrets were always the ones EVERYONE knew about, yes?

Missa rolled her eyes so hard and so fast, she might have probably set some kind of record. "No, but I would love to turn you in for whatever you are thinking of doing," she replied to the girl, the sass very much present in her tone.
And then she found herself raising a brow, "and why exactly do you want to know where the prefect's bathroom is?"

SEEEE? MISSA WAS SO JUDGY. Aboli scoooooffffffffed.
"I am NOT going to try to get in, thank you. I don't need detention. I haven't a SINGLE point all term, Renaldi, and I am not starting that now," she huffed a bit, hands on her HIPS. "I want to KNOW so that when one of you comes out, and the door opens, I can get a PEAK. Because I'm nosy. Unless you want to go in there and paint a strictly accurate representation for me."
Literally, could anyone do anything around here out of curiosity without them being acccused of WRONG DOING? Vastly unfair, it was.
And then, Aboli stared Missa right in the EYEBALLS, and said, "Why don't you like me? I've never been rude to you." She didn't THINK she had, but maybe it was one of those times where she didn't realize she had been, and Missa had taken it as offense.
Hmm.

The fifth-year sounded so unconvincing, it was ridiculous. So no, Missa did not believe her or her desire to just peek inside. She crossed her arms, ready to lay it onto her when she SPOKE AGAIN.

Missa stared, definitely feeling some sort of way about being asked so bluntly why she wasn't a fan of the girl. It made her feel slightly guilty too, because truth be told - she probably didn't have a valid reason, but would she let Aboli know that? No.
"What makes you think I don't like you? We don't even know each other" Misdirection? lets do it.

There she went; Missa, with the judgy looks. It made Aboli roll her eyes this time. And don't think she didn't notice the NON-ANSWER, RENALDI. Aboli just raised an eyebrow, her expression showing that she found the response as dubious as ever, and scoffed.
"Right. Okay. It's probably because of Eiji, right?" though, she had figured Missa didn't like her long before she'd had any scuffles with the seventh year Slytherin. "Or..............something else. Either way, I had no problems with you until YOU started showing aggression towards ME, so now, I am not YOUR biggest fan, Miss Renaldi," she said the girl's name in a bit of a sarcastic way, hands still on her hips.

Surely Missa had better things to do than standing here debating with Aboli - but was she leaving? No. She was, for some reason, actually listening to the girl - as if she would give her some reason to not feel guilty about not having a valid reason to dislike her.
"I never showed any aggression toward you, I simply don't agree with some of the things you say" It wasn't a lie either. Especially since she actually tried to back Eiji off in Potions, and Aboli had chosen not to see that and been rude instead.
And cue, Missa rolling her eyes.
"I am sure I will survive"

This whole conversation was kind of infuriating Aboli, but not in that it was making her mad, but more frustrated. Mostly because Missa wasn't behaving how Aboli THOUGHT SHE SHOULD BE. IT WAS SO ANNOYING THAT PEOPLE DIDN'T DO WHAT ABOLI WANTED THEM TO DO.

"What don't you agree with? Just things in class? I don't like a lot of people's answers but it doesn't mean I JUDGE them for it. Face it, Missa. You don't like me, and it's for NOOOO reason. THAT made Aboli turn RED as a tomato. "Nothing is IN my head, Missa. How dare you." WHEN HAD SHE EVER MADE FUN OF A TEACHER?! Oh, Aboli was in RAAAAAAAAGE NOW. "I have never not ONCE made fun of a teacher! I LIKE them all! Even Professor Noble!" she exclaimed, unable to comprehend what in the world Missa could be talking about! "And I only have an attitude with you and Eiji - " Ah, not true, but she didn't need Missa to know that.
According to Aboli, she ALWAYS thought before she spoke! "Who do you think you are, telling me how to be better and....whatnot? As if you don't have flaws yourself." She pulled her wand and twirled it, seething that she couldn't use it to her advantage right now.

That RIGHT THERE was validation. Whenever Missa started doubting exactly why Aboli didn't sit right with her, she goes to do something that confirms her gut feeling. And it was happening again. However, while she really wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt, and think the storm was affecting her memory and not letting her remember how exactly she made fun of Professor Schmoe - but she was STILL talking.
And Missa wasn't all tough skin, so that last bit actually made her feel extremely crappy - so much so that her face fell a bit, but hopefully, the translucency would cover it up?
"I never said I don't have any flaws," she corrected, her tone much stiffer now, "But clearly you have never had anyone tell you how to speak to people. So I am going to stop now because you are not worth it" And with that, the brunette turned around and started walking away.

Aboli was feeling so baffled, SO offended, that when Missa decided to END their interaction like that, she felt her jaw drop. What was this, the summer before first year again?! She could hEAR red-head Noah's words echoing in her head, and for a moment, she simply watched Missa start to walk away, and her eyes did something she did NOT want them to do.
She started CRYING.
Not simple soft, WOMANLY crying, but a LAAAAARGE sniffle and that horrible noise your throat makes when you cry. And she didn't WANT Missa to know that she hit a nerve so she ran away as FAST AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE.
And in the PROCESS of running away, she tripped over her own feet, trying to make a quick getaway, and FELL right on her face, but luckily her hands had done their job so she didn't completely SMACK her face on the floor.
Well this was awful. Now she was crying more from the shock of such a fall.
