Missa's heart sank - as it almost every time did whenever she realized that she had no idea what was going on with him.

Reaching for his hand, almost protectively, she gave it a squeeze, "you need to talk to me, Eiji. You can't keep doing this to yourself. Because this ... this feels like it's all just in your head. Because no, you are not inadequate in any way. You are ... you. it wasn't the best way to phrase it. But he needed to believe her when she said - he was FAAAAR from inadequate.

"I feel like ... you are doing what I usually do" she added, "you are overthinking everything"

It was hard to explain to someone when you didn't even fully understand what was going on with you either. Some of the things he did know were not the sort he wanted to share with Missa either. She did not need to worry about unnecessary factors and he needed to get his own head to wrap around that as well. Because in the end that was precisely what they were - non factors.

Her words did little to soothe him in the moment, but he did his best to relax his face so maybe...just maybe she could drop the subject with a bit more ease. "And you are remarkably biased," points out to her casually. "I might be. And I might not be," he continued with a shrug accompanied by a HEAVY exhale. "I'll likely feel better after so lunch so...let's just head inside and see what variety of absurdly large sandwich their serving today."

Naya had an idea for a somewhat different photo shoot location for her Flat Newt. The Butterfly Garden was not the first place you would think of if you wanted to find Newt Scamander. All the more reason to choose that spot, she thought. Naya really liked this place. It was very pretty and the butterflies were beautiful. She thought that this might be a place where Newt might come to relax......unwind.......spend some time with some nice peaceful creatures.

Finding a bench, Naya “sat” Flat Newt there and then prepared her camera. She took several pictures and then something unbelievable happened. A butterfly landed righ on Newt’s shoulder. Naya quickly focused her cameras and fired off several shots. She wanted to make sure that she caught the butterfly in the frame before he decided to fly away. She couldn’t believe her luck. The butterfly would make her picture look that much better. Scanning through the pictures she had taken, she found one that captured the moment perfectly. She smiled with satisfaction and then took out her parchment and prepared to writer her notes.



Once Naya had finished her outline, she took Newt from the bench and gathered the rest of her things. Before she left, she sat on Newt’s bench and spent a few minutes enjoying the beauty of the garden and the many butterflies that called it their home. After a while, she got up, took Newt and her things and reluctantly left the garden. It was time to leave paradise.......for now.

It wasn't very hard at all to find places around the castle that Flat Newt would enjoy visiting. Isla had already taken him to the duck pond the day before, and it had been on the way back to the castle when she'd gotten the idea to take him to the butterfly garden next. The second year roamed into the garden with Flat Newt in her hand. The butterfly garden was another obvious choice---creatures. However, Isla was going to try and think outside the box to come up with another reason a Magical Zoologist would be here.

But first, she should take a picture of him. Isla positioned Newt on the ground, but she tilted him backwards just a little to give the impression that he was looking up at all the butterflies. She then laid on the ground on her stomach and snapped a picture of the cutout. Ohhh, it really did look like he was glancing up at all the pretty creatures! She dusted herself out, put Newt in her pocket, and then took a few notes on her thoughts.

Isla then gathered all her belongings, spared a few seconds glance at all the pretty creatures, and then left the butterfly garden.

Her first thought upon realizing that the sky visible outside the window was back to normal was the plants. Mainly because Carys had been working on yet another of her studies of the sky when it had all happened, and realized that the others had apparently done something that actually had worked. She knew her paintings were alright, so it was out to the grounds for the Hufflepuff prefect.

Only, she hadn’t quite expected to stumble upon the butterfly garden on her way to the greenhouses. Maybe a brief pause was okay, especially since her heart had been breaking for the greenhouse plants for nearly the entire time they’d been stuck elsewhere. She hardly expected that the return of magic would have revived all those poor plants instantaneously. A bit of preparation seemed like a good idea, so she’d taken a seat on one of the benches to just enjoy the fresh air.
