| | Food Trolley It goes without saying that everyone's favourite person in the train is the trolley lady. Old, plump, and just as sweet as the food she sells, she can provide you with the sugary delights you desire -- from Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans to Chocolate Frogs to Pumpkin Pasties, it is all there in her trolley! The woman comes around during the middle of the journey and is generally the cause for any traffic jams taking place in the corridor.
When you hear "Anything from the trolley?" be hollered, even from a distance, it would be wise of you to jump up, make sure you have your money in your pocket, and get in the corridor before a long line begins to form. If you are the unfortunate soul that has to deal with an endless line, keep calm and stay put because the wait is certainly worth it. Please make sure you are waiting your turn with patience because the trolley lady is likely to refuse making a transaction with you if she sees you trying to cut in line or pushing people out of the way. OOC: No one plays the trolley lady, so please role-play receiving snacks and paying on your own.

The train ride back to London was filled with excitement ... and hunger. As Jina did not have a good breakfast, she was looking forward to getting some snacks from the food trolley. Around noon, when she heard the trolley lady, she jumped out of her compartment quickly, but a long queue had already formed in the corridor. Clearly she was not the only hungry student on this train. She stood on tiptoe to see how long it would take for her turn to come. What would she buy? Would there be any chocolate frogs left for her?

This was going to be the last time he was able to eat sweets before he got home and the family nutritionist was going to decide what he had to eat during the summer holiday. So Minjae wasted no time and the moment he had found a compartment to stash his luggage he walked to the food trolley to buy a massive load of chocolate frogs and pumpkin pasties. Maybe he could sneak them in to his room when he got home? But where could he hide them where the maids wouldn't find them? Ugh he hated that he wasn't able to do magic outside of Hogwarts yet. He could have concealed them with a charm. "Hiya Jina" he greeted the person in front of him while he stood behind her in line. "What are you getting?" might as well do some small talk while they waited for their turn.

Her parents were also strict about maintaining a healthy diet, but they did not hire a personal nutritionist and fortunately she could eat sweets every now and then if she wanted. She would not be able to get food from the wizarding world though, so she would miss snacking on things like Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans. "Hi Minjae," she replied to the boy behind her in line, grateful for a chance to chat with someone while waiting. "Ummm, maybe a few chocolate frogs and cauldron cakes. What are you getting? Are you excited to go home?"

He looked around Jina to see the trolley before he turned his eyes back to the girl. "I was thinking of chocolate frogs as well" he said "And pumpkin pasties. I used to not like them but i've grown quite fond of them now" too bad they didn't come with wizarding cards like the chocolate frogs did. "I am! kind of ...i mean, i can't wait to see my parents and little brother again" And out of all the servants he had missed his chauffeur the most . He knew he could tell everything to him no matter how silly it was and he could't wait to tell him that he gotten in first place at school because he knew he was going to report it to his father and his father in return would get him a *spontaneous* gift. "I hope we're going on a vacation this year. Last year we had to cancel because my father had to work" and a vacation without the whole family was no fun. Especially since he had not seen them for a year. "What about you? are you excited to get back home?"

Especially since he had not seen them for a year. "What about you? are you excited to get back home?" Chocolate frogs reminded her of the History of Magic lesson where they made their own frog cards. That was a fun experience - and of course she was not actually hoping to make it onto a frog card, but she still hoped she would grow up to do good things and help people in need. "That sounds cool. Where are you hoping to go for vacation?" She nodded as she listened to Minjae. She heard that he was from a really rich family, so she presumed that he would have an amazing summer break. "Yeah, me too. I'm also looking forward to seeing my family again. We'll be going back home to Canada for a few weeks, so I'm excited for that." She said, smiling broadly. She saw her parents during the term breaks, but it had been a while since she saw her relatives and old friends. She wondered if lots of things changed back at home, and could not wait to hear all about new happenings. Noticing that the line in front of her was shortening, she moved forward to close the gap and turned around again to face Minjae.

Noticing that the line in front of her was shortening, she moved forward to close the gap and turned around again to face Minjae. Minjae pushed himself off of the compartment door to move forward with the rest of the line. He placed his hands in his jeans pockets and shrugged his shoulders at her question. "I don't know" he said at first but after a moment of thinking he said "Well, we were supposed to go to chalet Zermatt Peak in Switzerland last year" before they suddenly had to cancel it. "Do you know Zermatt Peak? its really beautiful there" at least from what he had seen on the photos in the traveling magazine.
Oh? she was a Canadian? Minjae looked suprised for a split second but didn't say anything about it, instead he nodded his head in agreement. Spending time with family was always nice. "That's cool, i've never been to Canada before"he said and before he could stop himself he blurted out " Are they really all nice and polite over there?" Looking around her, the Hufflepuff pointed at the line behind Jina "It's your turn to buy" he laughed.

Chalet what? ”No, I've never heard of it … but I hope you enjoy your vacation.” She said with an awkward smile, unfortunately unable to continue an interesting conversation about Zermatt Peak. Geography was not her strength and she was not very familiar with tourist destinations in Europe. She often went on vacation with her family too, but they had never traveled outside of North America prior to the move to London. She heard from many people that Switzerland is a really beautiful country - she added it to her mental bucket list of places to visit. “Lots of them are,” she replied, laughing. There was no need to tell him all about the horrid French teacher she had in primary school. “Is that what you thought of Canada? All nice and polite people?” She was curious about the stereotypes other people held about Canada. She also had her own preconceptions (good and bad) about British people before attending Hogwarts, but soon discovered that they weren’t all true. “And you? You’re from Korea, right?” “Oh, yeah …” she said, turning around to see the trolley lady right in front her. She bought her chocolate frogs and cauldron cakes and then stood aside for Minjae.

Minjae would be lying if he said that he wasn't a bit disappointed that she didn't know the place because he was sure she would have known. Didn't everyone know that five star hotel? And he had definitely noticed the awkward smile but he played it off as if he hadn't noticed. "Thanks but i'm not sure if we're really going though" he said. It all depended on his father. But honestly, he'd be happy if he had to spend the whole summer in his VR game room at home as well.
Thankfully, Jina just laughed about his stereotypical assumption about the Canadians which in turn made the Hufflepuff take a relaxed sigh "Well yeah" he said "I mean, doesn't everyone?" "I am. But I lived in England since i was nine and i would have gone back if i hadn't been accepted in to Hogwarts" he said. "I'm muggleborn you see and my parents thought i was sick so we flew in to get me checked out in a private hospital but it turned out my sickness was my magical ability" he laughed because he still found it funny, his parents hadn't found it funny though. Waste of money it had been in the end.
Minjae walked up to the trolley when it was his turn and grabbed a handful of galleons from his pocket. He counted them and handed over enough to pay for a multi pack of chocolate frogs and a few pumpkin pasties before he turned his head to look at Jina "You want anything else? i don't mind paying"
