Holding his rather large collection of chocolate frog cards in his arms, Minjae placed them on the carpet near the fireplace before he lay down on his side as he held up his upper body with his right arm. His parents would throw a fit if they could see him now not properly sitting on a chair but they weren't here now. He rolled to the other side to take out a piece of paper from his pocket and unfolded it before rolling back and placed it down next to him. On it he had written down all the cards he owned and which ones he still needed. It had taken him some time but it was worth it in his opinion. He moved his hand to the deck of cards and began sorting them. The ones he had double he would later set aside so that he could trade or sell them at the card collectors club.

Another year, another Transfiguration mishap. Ronan stepped into the common room and immediately made for his favourite beanbag, holding his horrific half beetle half coin creation in his hand. He had missed the common room, and was happy that no bean bag had been lost during their yearlong absence from the castle. As he plopped heavily down, Ronan sighed at the abomination held in his hand. He could already tell, Transfiguration would be a pain this year. Sigh.

Turning his head to the right, Ronan smiled and waved at his dormmate Minjae. Were those chocolate frog cards? Perhaps they could trade! Ronan dragged the beanbag over to where the other boy was relaxed on the carpet. "Hey Minjae, how's it going?"

He had far more duplicate cards than that he had hoped he'd had...

Minjae sighed as he placed the fourth Almeric Sawbridge card on top of the other three. Maybe it was a good thing though as now he could trade at the club more easily.

He was so busy with organizing his cards that he did not seen Ronan come in to the common room and he had definitely not seen him wave. What did caught his attention finally was the sound of a beanbag being dragged over the floor towards him.

"I'm trying to decide whether i should ask my father to buy me all the chocolate frogs in the store to complete my collection or if i should trade my duplicates" like normal people did... he said without looking up. "You collect them too right?"

That... was interesting. Ronan blinked at the surprising answer his dormmate had given him. Minjae's father could just buy him all the chocolate frog cards? Didn't that cost a lot? Ronan couldn't imagine asking his father for such a thing. Noel could probably afford it, but he'd never ask Noel either. With Aria and Quinn and stuff, he probably had more things to worry about than a chocolate frog collection.

"Uh." Ronan looked between the collection on the floor, and thought about his own (quite a bit smaller) collection up in the dorm. "Trade?" he offered after a few moments of somewhat confused silence. "Yeah.. Want me to go grab them? I bet I could trade you some, and your dad won't have to buy.. the store." It felt weird just saying it.

Being completely oblivious to the fact that he probably said something odd by mentioning buying all the chocolate frogs in the store, Minjae finally looked up to look at his roommate when he did not answer him for a moment. "Earth to Ronan?" he asked, waving his hand and smiled when he finally heard a response.

Trade. It WAS easier to just buy them all but...there was no fun in it either. Besides, his parents were muggles and did not have the faintest clue about what kind of stores were in the Wizarding World. "Hmm... you're right, trading them is more fun" he said as he shifted his body so that he was seated with crossed legs now. "Yeah sure, i'll wait" he said as he looked back at his own collection. He hoped that Ronan at least had Artemisia Lufkin in his own collection. Cause he needed her card!
