Default Bellefeuille Common Room

Tapping the right combination of vine leaves on a sculpted white marble column reveals the entrance to the Bellefeuille common room. Inside, the opulent geometric architecture of the Beauxbatons palace relaxes into a more organic, relaxed aesthetic, befitting of a house known for their love of nature. Around the edge of the circular room, five twisting golden pillars branch outwards like trees to support a magical vaulted ceiling - three on the far side of the room, and two on the same wall as the entrance. Hanging in the centre is a sculptural vine chandelier that magically casts shadows not unlike the dappled shade of an orchard as summer turns to fall. Under foot, the plush dark green carpet resembling moss adds to a forest glade feel.

To your right is the fireplace, with a tiled surround of twisting vines and intricate carved mantle of woodland creatures from a single piece of oak. Above it hangs a large mirror, reflecting the view of the Orangery through the south archway to your left. A study area is nestled under the staircase to the dormitories on the opposite wall, shelves fully stocked with books and stationery. And if you’d prefer to just chill and hang out, scattered throughout the rest of the floor space are comfortable couches, cushions and beanbags - perfect for catching up with friends, playing a board game or two, or just snuggling up with a book and your familiar.

Bienvenue chez Bellefeuille!
