Default Spirit Room

The door to a mysterious door opens to reveal a dank and dusty room, which shows more than obvious signs that it has been vacant for years. Black sheets cover the furniture. Cobwebs fill every nook, cranny, and everything in between -- including a cup filled with wooden potion stirrers. The heavy scent of mildew permeates every aspect of the room as jet-black candles emit blue flames and an old record player screeches in the corner.

For the most part, this is where the majority of the ghosts that haunt the school gather when they want to avoid the living that run about the floors above. What they do here isn't really any of your business. Some of the ghosts that float about this room will remind you of that if they catch you invading their private space. If you're lucky, though, maybe the day you step inside this room is when Sir Nicholas is hosting his Deathday Party, a celebration that he most certainly will encourage you to stick around for. If that day is not today, you had better have a good excuse for being here.

Oh okay, so no games then? Honestly, Death Day Parties were pretty lame, weren't they which definitely made Maeve think twice on if she'd want to be a ghost in the afterlife. Of course, she was only sixteen but Merlin, wasn't Myrtle about that age when she died, so who really knew when one would meet their end?

But no games and rotting food. Yea, this was definitely not Maeve's cup of tea. She did catch a glimpse of Eiji taking materials and had to be slightly curious about it but yea, no thanks for that either and glad he wasn't in her common room too.

"Bye now, thanks for the invite!" Maeve said, following Anna out of there. No need to tell her twice about this. Even if she was still trying to figure out the point of today's lesson? Maybe it was just that; to show them a glimpse into a ghost's life?

This was the most useless lesson of her entire life. All that time spent walking to the party could have been used to learn something of use. Instead, they wasted half of the lesson in transport from one place to another. The other half wasn't much better. The only thing she had learned while at the ridiculous "party" was that Moaning Myrtle was even more insufferable when there was a crowd of students. Furthermore, her distaste for the Hufflepuff prefect had only grown two-fold.

She was still scowling when Professor O'Hara announced that they would be returning back to the classroom. In all honesty, Nina wanted nothing more than to skip out on their way back. She was absolutely certain that there wouldn't be any productivity in the last few minutes that remained of class. Though against her better judgment, she followed behind the rest of her classmates.
