| | Gryffindor Table For those who belong in Gryffindor House, on the left side of the Three Broomsticks is where your table awaits. Red banners containing an embroidered golden lion float above the polished table in honour of the brave Godric Gryffindor. Already placed on the tables are silver plates with accompanying cutlery and goblets. All that is missing right now are the mountains of food and pitchers containing your favourite beverages.
Though your stomach might be growling as you take a seat on one of the long benches next to the table, it is important to not get hangry -- gnawing your arm away or jabbing your fork repeatedly on the surface of the table will do no good whatsoever and will aggravate the shopkeeper. Give everyone some time to get settled in and wait for Headmaster Trent to deliver his speech. Keep yourself preoccupied by catching up with your fellow housemates until it is time to sink your teeth into the hearty and delicious meal prepared by the house-elves.

| YesJess! | Captain Goggles | Mama Badger | Eva's Soul Sister | An OG™ | It's all in the Numbers Of all things in her six years at Hogwarts, having the end of term feast at the three broomsticks was definitely one of the oddest things to the seventeen year old. Another odd thing was despite the best friend being missing for months, Aurelia Maeve was hoping - PRAYING - that she'd turn up at long last. That this was just some horrid prank the hufflepuff was playing and they'd laugh about it over the summer, as Maeve caught her up on everything she'd missed. And yet, as her gray eyes scanned over the wizarding pub from the left side of the room, the sinking feeling returned that she'd never see the hufflepuff again. Her Hufflepuff. Her honorary Gryffindor, as Chase liked to say.
Everything was changed. Hogwarts was changed. This wasn't Hogwarts. This wasn't home. And she wasn't sure it ever would be a second home to her ever again.

| urine trouble | Pat's Strong Confident Other Half | Pees Like a Champion Unicorn Racehorse This........ was weird. This was very weird.
Lucas made his way very slowly towards the, uh, Gryffindor table? He was assuming so because of the red banners with golden lions on them. He had to admit: Trent - or was it the bartender? - had really gone to great lengths to make it look the same, didn't he? And there was something about that that he liked. Yeah. It seemed..... familiar. But not at the same time.
Maybe that was what was causing the uncomfortable feeling in his stomach.
He took a seat somewhere along the middle of the table, only vaguely acknowledging Maeve over there who knew Emma. His eyes scanned the room, first taking in the way it looked welcoming - something he liked - and then taking in the fact that there weren't a lot of people in here as he thought. He....... probably wouldn't attend the feast at all if the pub was still packed with, uh, people. Other people.
Feeling a lot quieter than normal - and anxious to get home - Lucas just..... sat there, his eyes fixed on the plate in front of him. This feast was going to take a while, wasn't it?

| Arts TRANSPONSTER! It as all very surreal. They weren't finishing the term at the school, which was a very weird thing on its own already, but they were also there without two fellow students and the school had officially been taken over by the awful mist. Anna still couldn't decide whether the adults couldn't or just wouldn't do anything. She wanted to believe they couldn't and that was why they wouldn't. But wasn't it at least worth a try?
Her teenage mind was too small to consider the fact adults might have tried entering the mist without success.
Still, not a good feeling at all. The fact they hadn't played Quidditch for the last few months wasn't even what was bothering her the most. Of course it wasn't. The sudden thought that the two missing students might have made it out on the other side of the mist and just couldn't get in touch to let everyone know they were okay popped into her mind. She started wondering straight away, however, why Hogsmeade's inhabitants and shopkeepers hadn't told them anything about it. Probably because... Sigh. Never mind.
The sick feeling was back and she took a deep breath before making her way to what was the Gryffindor table. It was nothing like the Great Hall, but she had to admit whoever did that had done a good job. She patted Maeve on the shoulder as she passed the girl to take a seat nearer Lucas until his sister showed up. |

| Swedishfish Girl! Madame Librarian! Jess's Soul Sister! Sweetest Swede! This was too odd.
They we're having their end of term feast inside the Three Broomsticks.
They had been living in Hogsmeade for the last couple of the days after the mist breached into the school and they had all been evacuated. Ellie wasn't upbeat and happy to have made it through her first year at Hogwarts she was just ready for it all to be over. Could it be tomorrow already so they could go home? She missed her parents oh so much and she betted that they we're frantic since they couldn't send owls home.
Heading over to the gryffindor table with its gold and red lion banner hanging over it she spotted Lucas, Maeve and Anna already seated there. When she arrived Ellie plastered on a what she hoped was a hearty smile even if she really felt down she mumbled "Hi guys! I hope it's a quick feast. I just want to go home, don't you guys want that too?"

| Teapot Occamy| gryphons&giraffes&goats,OH MY | chaser of the truth | flutiful❧ For what it was worth, Cordelia appreciated the effort that had been put into making The Three Broomsticks look familiar. Since she had received a letter from Lorelai that reminded her of the importance of schoolwork over quidditch, Cordelia had started putting more effort into her classes so hopefully she wouldn’t get kicked off the quidditch team next year. It had been ages since she had been able to play quidditch or even fly at all. She missed flying and the thrill of a good game. Hopefully quidditch would be back to normal next year. There were still some things Cordelia felt like she needed closure on before they went home though, like what had happened to those two students who were probably dead by now. Now wasn’t the time for sad reflections though, because Cordelia Winklebleck had just had the best experience of her life with Spencer Muldoon. Her first kiss. She needed to do that again sometime. She looked around and grinned at all her housemates who had almost certainly noticed her brief kiss with Spencer in the middle of the room. Cordelia was still floating on the feeling of her first kiss. Today was a good day. None of her other problems mattered right now.

| HOLISTIC ACTRESS {X O} EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED she was alive, they were alive, Grainne wouldn’t believe that anyone was gone until she was told they were. Liam…was, somewhere right? “we’ve got this” she had told her sisters as they had made their way into the end of term feast, but now, now it was different. The year was ending, mum would find out that school had been a disaster and it was HIGHLY plausible that she wouldn’t be allowed back.
That would be – smart? Right? Considering that the first and only introduction to a magical school had resulted in it being overrun by mist? Shifting on her feet the young girl made her way over to where the gryffindors were situated. ”h-hello” she muttered the words still coming off in a somewhat garbled jumble.

| and we're out *hides* YesJess! | Captain Goggles | Mama Badger | Eva's Soul Sister | An OG™ | It's all in the Numbers Literally everyone was super quiet at the feast and it only made it harder to bear. Honestly, Maeve just couldn't wait to get home; seeing Lucas, she gave a small acknowledgement to him and then Anna appeared and gave her a pat on the shoulder. As if that would make everything better?
Ellie. Ellie, the first to actually speak the words that she was sure everyone was thinking. Sweet Ellie. "Of course. We all want that." She nodded at the younger girl, trying to keep a brave face. Cordelia and Grainne next to appear who both got acknowledgements. The small first year seemed to want to be anywhere but here; who could blame her honestly? This was literally the worst way to experience your first year at a magical school. The only good thing was that she got to experience Hogsmeade before third year, but under what circumstances?
And then... the speech happened. The usual... be safe... we're all safe because we stayed away when told... uh ....... what??? No. They weren't all safe and how could the HEADMASTER give a speech like that??? And fail to mention the TWO students who were no longer with them. She didn't know Tad Potter that well, other than he played quidditch for Ravenclaw, but he was wildly popular. He had a family. Siblings. Cousins. And then there was Kamryn. Of course she knew Kamryn. One of her best friends. But because of the mist, they were no longer here, and the Headmaster didn't even acknowledge them with some sort of .... moment of silence for those who didn't survive the mist.
REALLY??? REALLY??? At least the new Astronomy Professor seemed sad, but the Headmaster of ALL people should have said something!!! SOMETHING!!! Which literally only made Maeve more upset. More not wanting to return to be under the jurisdiction of this man ..... How could he run a school and it was as if the two students didn't even matter??? ALL LIVES MATTERED!!! Just because they were all here, didn't mean that he could completely obliterate the fact that TWO students weren't here with them... that he could completely ignore their presence and the fact that TWO students died under his watch and he might not have wanted to admit to it, or acknowledge it, but she was almost positive that friends of Tad Potter would not want his name forgotten. That forgetting the existence of Tad and Kam was not what they would have wanted. And the Headmaster NOT acknowledging them, was exactly what he was doing. He was pretending as if they never existed in the first place.
She wasn't hungry before and she still wasn't hungry. Not sparing a second glance at the man in the middle... because how could she look at someone who could FORGET the existence of two students .... the Gryffindor - soon to be former - abruptly stood up from the table and left the pub. She needed fresh air and was not going to get that in here, in the same room as that DISGUSTING DISGRACE who couldn't even so much as acknowledge those who were clearly not with them.
Train couldn't come fast enough.

| Arts TRANSPONSTER! Anna gave Ellie a tiny smile as acknowledgement because yes, just like Maeve, she also just wanted to go home by now. "Only a few more hours." She said to reassured them all, including herself.
The only kid who seemed totally fine was Cordelia, who also got a very small smile from Anna when she arrived. At least someone was happy.
Poor Gráinne. What a first year she had had at Hogwarts. "Hi, Gráinne. Come and join us." Anna offered with a hand gesture so the girl would sit with them.
The prefect turned her attention to the Headmaster as he started his speech. She wasn't too sure what she was feeling as the man spoke, but it wasn't anything too great. It wasn't the sick feeling she'd been having because of the mist situation, though. This time it was more like a hole in her stomach. Not pleasant at all, and the Headmaster's words seemed to make it worse.
As the food appeared, Anna took a deep breath. 'Only a few more hours', she kept telling herself.
When Maeve abruptly got up, Anna looked up at her friend. "Maeve..." But the girl had already headed out. She pursed her lips and sighed heavily since she knew what had caused her friend to do that. The Gryffindor rubbed her face and got up straight away as well, heading out after her dormmate to check on her. |
