She however forgot all that at the sight of the black horse that was going to pull the carriage with it’s skeletal body, leathery wings and creepy reptilian face.
Ellie stood and stared at the thestral’s with her mouth gaping open and her eyes wide as saucers for several minutes until she started to shake from the cold. It was her wet hair and robes that brought her back to reality. Blinking she stumbled forwards and climbed up into the carriage and sat down on one of the seats near the window. Hugging her arms around herself she just wanted to get up to the castle.
After exiting the train, the Ravenclaw made a quick dash towards one of the carriages waiting for them to take them uphill to the castle. He felt sorry for the first years having to go by boat in this rain, they were going to get soaked before they even reached the Great Hall. As several carriages drove past by an invisible force which he knew were actually thestrals even if he could not see them, Dorian spotted a girl gazing at the invisible creature for some time before she got in to a carriage. Which meant that that one wasn't full yet so he walked swiftly toward it while trying not to slide in the mud.
Had the weather been nicer, he would have politely asked if he could enter but since that it was not the case right now, he hopped inside of the carriage and sat down.
"Lovely weather" he said sarcastically as he got his wand from out of his pocket and performed the hot air charm to dry his clothes.
"Much better" He said and looked at the girl in front of him.
"You should do the same, you'll probably get sick otherwise"
