Once you've solved the bronze knocker's riddle, you enter a circular, comfortable looking common room. The common room always has a well-lit and airy look about it, mostly due to the fact that the arched windows that are covering a large section of the walls, stretch from the floor and all the way up to the domed ceiling. The ceiling reflects the midnight blue carpet that's dotted with stars and spreads across the common room. Look closely and you might notice one or two of these stars twinkling at you, especially during the darker hours.
Everything from the walnut furniture to the blue and bronze silks that drape over the windows seem to scream Ravenclaw. Take a look outside of the window and you'll find yourself facing the most magnificent view that Hogwarts has to offer: the grounds stretch out as far as the eye can see, with the lake, Herbology greenhouses and Quidditch pitch meeting your eye. Meeting the lake is the Forbidden Forest itself and beyond the forest lies an excellent view of the surrounding mountains. Near the windows are blue window seats, large enough for two or three people to sit on.
Dotted around the common room are various objects you'd often find in your everyday common room. Soft chairs, armchairs and sofas are dotted here and there, some accompanied by a table or two. The softest of these pieces of seating furniture can be found near the fireplace on one side of the common room. Slightly harder chairs in appearance can be seen forming circular groups towards another corner of the common room, making up the Study Area that many students can be seen huddled around later on in the year. The most notable and unique object that stands here is the statue of Rowena Ravenclaw who's standing between the two staircases leading up to the dormitories.
So come in and make yourselves comfortable while you're at it. This is your home away from home, after all.

She had come in later because of her protest not to leave her brother so she missed all the instructions. Her mind was racing on all the events, she didn't trust O'Hara and she knew the woman had come to their common room, what if the woman found one. Her eyes widened at the thought and rushed over to her head of house.
"Professor, what happens when we do find them? What will you do then? Do you have a spell that will remove them carefully and won't be harming them or do you have some live traps we could set up that they could go in and not be harmed?" This was a big concern especially after the harsh words that were said. She understood a human life was lost, but it didn't mean that they should just kill for revenge. What if these creatures could be valuable information in some way.

Nettie sniffled a bit, wiping her tears away from her face. She knew that what her Head of House was saying made sense, but she couldn't help but feel bad about it. Not to mention, she was just so disappointed. Yet another thing that she thought she could enjoy - only to find out that wasn't the case. Everything in her life was just awful right now.
She just nodded. "I can do it. I want to help," she insisted. Maybe because the mutants seemed to like her so much...it would lure them out? She waited a few minutes to collect herself before she stood up and headed up to the girls dorms.
She wanted to start there since it was her dorm - and also to make sure her cat hadn't been, you know, EATEN.

Was there some bad blood brewing between Kay and Alice? If it were then he was going to stay clear unless he needed to step in for the student's sake. He doubted that it would be needed though since both of them were supposed to act like professionals. Joshua turned his gaze to Kay and nodded "Of course Professor Stewart I'll get right on it!" To the student's around boys mainly he said "If any boy's want to come along i'll go start the search in the boy's dorms first." With that Joshua turned on his heel and left the common room.

Younger Chloe’s questions told Kay all she needed to know about why said questions were asked. She couldn’t help but have her eyes moved towards the Girls’ dorms where Alice and the others were searching. “Not to worry, Ms. McCarthy. I’ll be using spells that will immobilise the creatures but not harm them. I know Professor Wishart will do the same and as for Professor O’Hara... I trust Ms. Primeaux and the others will handle the situation or call for help if needed.’’
Kaysha conjured up a tissue for Nettie. “Very well. If you are up for it then you may.’’ She gave the girl a comforting pat on the shoulder, hating to see the Ravenclaw in tears.

Fifteen minutes of thorough searching yielded nothing. Kaysha was half both disappointed and relieved. “I think we’re done here, everyone. I’ll go ahead to check on the other two professors but thank you for your help.’’
