If you know the password, or where the entrance is from the Secret Passage you can make your way through a portal in the stone wall of the dungeons and walk into the Slytherin common room.
The Slytherin common room is a long, low underground room with stone walls and ceiling, from which round, greenish lamps are hanging on chains. A fire is crackling under an elaborately carved mantelpiece ahead of you. The Slytherin emblem is everywhere you turn, to remind you, in case you forgot where you were.
Portraits of the infamous Salazar Slytherin, Professor Horace Slughorn, Professor Snape, and previous Head of Houses including retired Mr Justin McLeod and recently retired Laurel Vance are aligned. It reminds students of what being a Slytherin means and allows them to share those feelings with others.
This is where the Slytherin students are free to unwind and chat with one another, play games, read book, or just hang out.
Beside each corridor is self inking quill and parchment with the words Attendo Thea Vipera on it.This is where you can leave a little information about yourself so your housemates can get to know you better.
Over the fireplace mantle is where the Slytherin trophies and plaques lay. In center is the Slytherin House Cup from two term's ago win. On the side of the fireplace hangs the Snake News, snake newspaper for announcements and open classes listed, quidditch tryots news and other noteworthy stuff.
The windows showcase the lovely underwater view where you can occasionally see the Giant Squid and other water creatures swim on by and study or do some homework in relative peace.
The once relative calm and quiet of the late afternoon is suddenly interrupted by the booming voice of the Headmaster.
"Everyone report to the courtyard, immediately. This is not a request nor is this a suggestion. There's been an...er....situation that has compromised the safety of everyone within the school. Should you not wish to find yourself on the inside of something pink and furry, I suggest you make your way out NOW." There is the smallest paused, before a belated "Oh. Ahem. Thank you."
The message rings throughout every corridor and every room in the entire castle as well as the grounds. Best get to that meeting place.
Kassie entered the Slytherin common room and took in her surroundings. There were already several students waiting, most likely for directions. Headmaster Trent wanted them to sweep the common rooms, dorms, and any other hidden areas to be sure they were free of the little pink fluffy professor eating creatures.
Both Max and Natalie appeared to be showing exceptional leadership qualities and she knew that the two of them would be able to lead the search without too much support from Professor Kennedy if he wasn’t in a state to be assisting. “Max, Natalie, and all students of Slytherin house, I’m here to help, but I’d like to focus my attention on your Head of House for the time being. I know both of you heard Headmaster Trent’s orders. Please carry out his request and search the area. Report back immediately if you find any of the creatures. And, please, in the name of Merlin, don’t touch it.” She looked to Kalen, hoping she hadn't overstepped, and waited to see what he might add.

He wasn't exactly blessed when it came to strong leadership skills so Max was grateful that bossy boots McKinley had mostly taken charge when it had come to the rounding up of the Slytherins out in the courtyard. He made a mental note to remind her later that she wasn't entirely useless. Hah.
Counting he could absolutely do though, and when everyone was gathered inside Max got to counting heads. He was pretty sure everyone was here. Probably. Maybe. He was positive he hadn't missed anyone but he'd possibly counted a couple of heads more than once. It was hard concentrating when there were man-eating fluff monsters potentially lurking in the vicinity, okay???
And speaking of man-eating fluff monsters.
"Alright everyone!" His ears burned pink because yikes at having to talk to a bunch of people. He was gonna make this quick. "You heard what Professor Sutton said, let's search this place. If you were a fluffy pink mutant, where would you hide? Check everywhere!"

Kalen was looking and feeling much better as he walked into the common room with Kassie, the pepperup potion had helped a ton, not to mention, a few other things had happened that had him smiling.
Wide, beaming smiles.
Which might not have been the best for what was going on. Oops?
He turned to Kassie and tried to control his beaming as she spoke and nodded as she instructed the students and then looked at Max as he spoke.
“Yes! Search everywhere and don’t touch them! Call for Professor Sutton or I if you find one. No one goes alone to search, always in pairs. Lets go. ”
Well he certainly didn’t look or sound like the panicking professor that had nearly passed out in the courtyard. What had happened to Kalen? The world may never know. But he did.. and that’s all that mattered.

Patrick had noticed some pink fuzz on the side of his arm that had been itching as of late. His eyes got real wide. Oh goodness no. Looking around to see if anyone noticed he began to panic. He hadn't noticed too much hair. He didn't know what happened what caused it but he was afraid that if he stayed in the common room he would be detained for an unknown amount of time. Then he wouldn't be able to win the Quidditch cup. Oh no he would be evicted from his captaincy.
MERLIN NO!
Eyes growing wide as he began to look around the room he wondered if he could just slip out and maybe go see the healer to see if there was a remedy yet. He did not, no could not end up sick and in the hospital wing for longer than necessary. Maybe that was why he had lost that game of tug-o-war to Anna.
Loud headmaster…then mass of studenteses and professoreses outside.
Argyle could sense it. Something was up. Curiosity got the better of the house-elf…yep, that it did. So, Argyle follow to dark common room in dungeons, watching both professoreses and studenteses talk as they gathered back to do what they were doing. Argyle half-shuffled to the librarian and professore since they looked most in need of help.
“Argyle do something?” The house-elfs words a question as she looked up unsure at the staffers.
Kassie was pleased to see Kalen looking well and the Slytherin students searching the area. "Be sure to look in any spots they may be able to hide. Leave no pillow unturned and no curtain pushed aside." She then noticed Patrick acting a bit off. "Is everything alright Mr. Dooley? Have you found one of them?"
Noticing Argyle, Kassie turned to the house-elf. "If you would like to help, we are searching for the pink fluffy creatures. Do you know if any are hiding in here?" She gave Argyle a sweet smile, thankful for the offer to assist them.
Professorese Sutton was the one to respond to Argyle, the house-elf's ears perked up to hear what was going on. Pink...fluffy...creatures?! Argyle didn't think she had seen any such thing. "Argyle not see....Argyle thinks." Studenteses had puffs but not quite the same.
"But Argyle look..." Yep...that Argyle could certainly do. The house-elf moving around with wide-eyed interest, favoring the smaller places.
