It was almost summer, no, it basically was summer! This feast was the last thing standing between all the students and summer! She hated to see some of the Seventh years go and had made them presents to give to them, but she was so excited about the U17 Germany team and her reserve spot, plus all the other summer adventures that she just knew would be a blast even if that weren't fully planned yet. Plus, she'd be spending time with Morgan, even if she didn't admit she missed her little brother loads, she always did.

Coming in with her hands full of the homemade gift she made her way to her own table first. Stashing them under the table until the right moment, she took a seat. Looking around she realized she had made it to the table first, which was weird, where was everyone. They had one the house cup and that was amazing, so everyone should be here celebrating.

Glancing around the tables and up to the staff table, she noticed Headmaster Tate and stared a bit, did she ever notice how pretty his eyes seemed to be? Blushing at her own thoughts she straightened up in her seat, get it together McCarthy crushing, especially on your headmaster were not happening anymore, just quidditch.

Ewan couldn’t help but feel somewhat sad as he entered the great hall for what could possibly be the last time. Pausing as he entered, he looked around at faces of his friends and let out a wistful sigh. He really would miss this place and most of all, the people in it!

Walking in, he couldn’t help but have a small glance over at the Slytherin table as he walked towards the middle of the hall, his eyes searching, unsure if he wanted to see what he was looking for. The last few had been such a whirlwind of emotion for him that, despite the obvious pain, there was also a lot of numbness. He needed some space and time to process.

With one last glance over at the Slytherin table, he took his seat next to Chloe, his mind on a million other things. “Hey Chlo, excited for the summer?”

Valencia had made it through her first year! It was finally almost summer and she could be home. She was excited. She'd get to ride her horse and read all her books. She also wouldn't have to worry about furballs!

(Well, she'd still have to worry about furballs, just not the ones that ate everything.)

"Hey." she greeted softly before taking a seat.

Nettie could not be happier that this term was over. It felt like it had lasted for YEARS instead of months, and it had been full of so many ups and downs she'd practically gotten whiplash trying to keep up with all her emotions. She was sure part of it had to do with all the stupid teenage hormones she was dealing with - but being infected with a weird mutant curse had NOT helped.

Speaking of - now that she was cured of her crazy Rapunzel hair, Trinetta practically cat-walked in to the Great Hall, her sleek, conditioned, newly trimmed hair feeling like a badge of honor, signifying that she had SURVIVED everything her third year had thrown at her. More than just survived - she was THRIVING. She had Quidditch to look forward to this summer, and hopefully more time with Ethan. Not to mention, she'd somehow, through some miracle, made it on the top points earner board again! So truly, had it been THAT bad of a term?

Yes, yes it had, but she was looking FORWARD, not to the past!

"Hey Chloe! Hey Ewan!" she said with a smile as she plopped down at the Ravenclaw table. She was quite ready to stuff her face, get on the train, take a nap, and then wake up and head home. She planned on sleeping for an entire week when she got home. Sounded perrrrrfect to her.

The time of year came with mixed feelings, because this Ravenclaw enjoyed being at Hogwarts. A lot. And learning. But with the holidays meant WARM weather, and spending time with her family, even though the year had been great with her sister now being at Hogwarts.

"Hey everyone," Hanna said, sliding into a seat next to Ewan. "Everything okay?" she asked him.

I felt like those at the table currently were all quite big Quidditch fans, mostly being on the team, and excited about the World Cup. "I'm sure I'll see you all there?" she asked, confident in the answer.

Ewan couldn’t help but be slightly surprised as he looked around, finally snapping out of his stupor, only to realise that the table had filled up with his friends. Briefly he noted a first year who he hadn’t actually met this year (Valencia). Oops. Giving her an encouraging smile, he turned towards his fellow third year (Nettie) “Hey Nettie, you ready for the summer?” trying his best to avoid any and all questions about how he was for obvious reasons. Besides, he knew she was fine because of the huge smile on her face.

Was everything okay? Uh not really. “Yeah I’m okay thanks Hanna” he replied, because after all, this was supposed to be a celebration. “Uhh…maybe, I’ve got a pretty busy summer this year. How about you? You manage to get tickets?” Despite his lack of availability, he would love to spend his summer watching world cup!

Ewan was next to her and she was hugging him. Yes, she was being clingy, but she knew what he had told her about leaving for the summer and she was afraid she'd be losing one of her best friends for good. "Of course I'm ready for summer, with the Quidditch cup and the German U17 season. It is going to be full quidditch summer, just like I like it. I wish you would be around more to hang out or go to one of my matches." She blushed a bit knowing it would be her sitting most of the time as a reserve, but it could still be fun.

Seeing other people come she let go of Ewan not to make it weird and waved at them all, "Hello Valencia, glad it's summer?" Seeing one her dormmates and close friends she grinned more, "Nettie!!"

"Oh hey Hannah!" It was great seeing everyone coming in now, so they could celebrate winning the house cup! She really wished they could of have both, but she was excited for Hufflepuff and over not winning their last match.

So this was IT. Last meal, last set of hugs, last goodbyes to the professors and other house leaders... Chloe wasn't tearful about it, although she felt maudlin. She was excited about leaving and what was coming next, and she was ready to leave this place behind.

Okay, perhaps she was a tiny bit tearful, but she didn't want to upset the younger students with hysterics. Chloe glanced across the tables to find Derf, her favorite Head Boy, before taking a seat. "I'm so hungry. I hope there aren't any lengthy speeches."

Drewett was definitely handling this end of term feast better than last term. For the year 2097, he almost died from S.O.R.E. and the staff structure at Hogwarts. Not to mention, he had to watch his long-time school boy crush graduate as well. This term's last feast was a walk in the park compared to last term's.

Except he knew he was right all along about those pink mutants. They had never been cute to him to begin with. He was relieved and glad that they were gone now.

Making his way to the Ravenclaw table with no detour since he didn't really have anyone to say goodbye to, Drewett opted for a seat beside Nettie. "Mind if I-I sit here?" the outgoing fourth year asked with a sheepish smile. He was also hoping Hudson would come by soon enough, or maybe Kenzie, or maybe Nina just in case Eloise gave her another headache at the Slytherin table, or maybe Evan because it was Evan. Or really another one of his friends, to be honest.

Everyone else at the table got little smiles from him too.

Hanna gave Ewan a grin, and nodded. "My great uncle is obsessed with Quidditch, and he's persuaded some of my family to get tickets. I want to learn some new moves!" Especially from the professionals, that would be great. "What are your plans?" she asked.

"Hi Chloes," Hanna said to graduating Chloe and Quidditch Chloe. "Wow, I hope you get to play a chunk of the match," she said to Q Chloe. She wanted to say goodbye to graduating Chloe, too, but didn't think the feast was a good time to do that. She decided the train would be a better time to do so.

"Hey Drewett," Hanna greeted fellow fourth-going-into-fifth year.

"Hi Valencia!" Nettie said with a smile as she greeted the young girl who sat down just as she did. She reached in front of her and grabbed the pitcher of pumpkin juice, pouring herself a glass as others slowly started to join the table.

"Yup, I'm so ready for a break!" She answered Ewan's question with a grin. "Although I don't know how much of a break it'll be with U-17 and all that," she admitted with a giggle. "What are you up to this summer?" she asked, completely oblivious, of course, to any of the drama her fellow third year had going on in his life. Which was a shame, because it would probably make her feel better knowing that she wasn't the only one who had had a rough term.

"Hey Chloe! Ready for Quidditch?" she asked with a grin. What a dumb question. Of COURSE the girl was ready for Quidditch! And speaking of Chloe's...there was Head Girl Chloe. Oh. OOOOOH. This was like...the last time she was going see the girl here at school! Suddenly hit with a wave of sadness, she just looked at the older girl and smiled at her. "Hey Chloe. Happy Graduation!" she said. She seemed quieter than normal, so she figured the Head Girl was probably feeling all sorts of emotions right now.

Oh hey, Drew was here! Grateful for a distraction from her thoughts of all the seventh years leaving - OH MY GOSH. THAT MEANT NO MORE DERF AND HIS BEAUTIFUL HAIR! - she nodded at her friend and scooted to make some room. "Sure thing! Excited for summer?" she asked him with a smile.

She turned to Hanna, who was talking about the Quidditch World Cup. Honestly? Nettie had no interest in professional Quidditch. Despite living in England now, her heart still belonged to France and they weren't headed to the cup any time soon. She was concerned only about HER Quidditch career, which really only existed to pad her future university applications. "I don't think my parents got tickets, but that's ok," she piped up with a small shrug. "I'll be too busy, I think," she added with a smile. No hard feelings. Honestly.

This year was somehow quicker than last year, Jackson was pretty sure. He finally entered the Great Hall for his second-to-last-final-feast (that was a thing okay?) with a grin.
His smile grew as he approached the Ravenclaw table. "Hey hey!" he greeted everyone together before taking a seat. He was ready to enjoy this feast!!
