As Chloe sat to get her hair braided she watched the others, this was fun and she for possibly the first time appreciated being a Ravenclaw. Spending the first two years feeling like she didn't belong in it or wasn't worthy enough for it, she now realized she was and could actually be a help to her house. She was working hard at practice trying to win the cup for her team, but she was working hard to earn points and get good marks as well.

"We should play truth or dare." That could be fun, right? They could dare each other to do silly dances or quack like a duck. Though maybe that was a baby game that the older students would think was a dumb idea. Chloe second-guessed her own choice as she sipped on her cocoa and watched the mattress surfing.

Over all the hubbub of excited voices and soft clatter of mugs, Kay heard a POP! which told her that a House Elf had arrived. Looking over, she saw it was none other than Nimma. “Hello, Nimma. Thank you for your services.’’ The elves were always so kind and efficient! “Dive right in, Mr. Potter,’’ Kay encouraged. “I love the onesie. And I’ll take some Bertie Bott’s please.’’

From her perch on the chair, Kay watched Caolan and Jackson. Those two were definitely getting down to one of the most fun activities. Just look at them go! Soon after, the kiddos were all having their turns; Nettie having the time of her life next.

“Ms. Phillips, are we allowed to camp out in your fort at some point it time? It looks mighty snug.’’ Kay was so happy to see that more Ravenclaws were joining in. “Hello, Ms. Dantes. Of course you can!’’ She got to her feet to make the cocoa. “Here you are,’’ she said a short time later. “Tell me, which activity do you want to get started on?

“Oh, I think I’ll take a s’more please, Ms. Newton! Is it too much to ask for extra chocolate in mine?’’ There was another game suggestion, this one by the younger Chloe. “We can, so long as it’s all kept to appropriate topics.’’ Then again, no one would be touching inappropriate topics with an adult around.

Jackson had reached the bottom of the stairs and could tell that a little bit of breath had escaped him. Whew... That was actually really fun! He would have to make sure to challenge other people... if the line fell short again anyway. He decided that for now he could let others have their turn while he helped himself to a s'more... Which he immediately devoured. "Another!" he yelled. S'mores were life!! His next thought was to hoard a plate of them and a jug of hot cocoa in his own fort. Deciding to do it old school, Jackson grabbed some pillows and got to work. This fort was going to be EPIIIIIIC!

Kay had been paying close attention to Jackson and Caolan as they mattress surfed. In truth, she had never tried it but looking at the boys’ reactions, she wanted to. What prevented her, however, was the fact this this might not be the appropriate time to do so. What she meant was that it may be a little too unprofessional to let loose among her kiddos. Instead, she would settle for scary stories, s’mores and other food.

The woman found herself laughing as Jackson called for another s’more. “Now, now, Mr. Thompson! It’s just as fun to make as much as you want. Look, I’ve got you an entire unopened pack of marshmallows.’’ The pack was grabbed from the s’more supplies close by. Jackson was about to build a fort? Fort building would definitely work up an appetite.

Nimma smiled at all the so very nice Ravenclaws. “Hello Mister Potter!” she greeted the second year. She smiled at Caolan who did not say anything, but that was okay. She gave him a cheerful smile and nodded back, her nose almost hitting the floor. "Hello Miss!" she greeted Miss Hanna and MissStewart. "It is Nimma's absolute pleasure miss!" It was true! Nimma loved to help, and she loved seeing all of the studentsies in such good moods!

Jackson laughed at the reaction he got from his Head of House. "Alright alright, you're right," he responded. "Heyyyyoooooo!!!!" he proclaimed, as the new bag of marshmallows came to light. Okay okay, maybe he could help a bit more instead of just enjoying the party. Heh heh... his bad, professor, sorry! He started to gather some ingredients and began making a batch of s'mores. "Hey if anyone wants to make the biggest fort ever, meet me over there!" He used a graham cracker to point to where he had been putting some pillows, "We're making the fort of all forts!"

Kay beamed at the Elf. Really, why were they always so helpful and willing? Sometimes she thought that that the Wizarding folks did not deserve these creatures. “You can share s’mores with us too, Nimma. There are plenty around for you to have.’’ Because why not? A house elf deserved kindness too!

“Count me in, Mr. Thomas. Be warned though; I’ll be using mainly purple pillows.’’ Purple and the shades close to the colour were her favourite. Kay polished off her s’more before getting to her feet. It was to the pillow pile that she made her way to.
