| | Potions Laboratory Down the end of the potions corridor, past the main classroom and linked to the storeroom, is the potions laboratory. A smaller version of their usual classroom, it’s set up very similarly - lines of benches facing the front, with access to a burner for a cauldron for every pair of chairs. Lining the side walls is storage. In the bottom cupboards you’ll find all the basic equipment, neatly laid out in trays. And on the shelves above can be found the standard potions ingredients. However, if you need anything more specialised, you’ll have to talk to Professor Noble about accessing the storeroom. If you try the door without permission, you’ll find it securely and safely locked; it might even set off a spark or two in warning. At the back of the classroom are a row of sinks and plenty of draining racks. If you use classroom equipment, you’re expected to clean and tidy up after yourselves.
At the front of the room is a sign in book, logbook and list of rules. Before touching anything, please sign in and check the logbook for updates. Professor Noble will regularly be checking, and doesn’t take kindly to unauthorised brewing. There are also several potions books for reference and inspiration. Rules- Sign in with your name, year, house and potion being brewed.
- If you need to leave your station for any reason, leave a note on your desk saying where in the recipe you’ve got up to, and how long you’ll be away. Any unattended potions without this information will be immediately banished.
- Put equipment and ingredients back after use. If you’ve broken something or an ingredient is nearly gone, please make a note in the logbook so I’m aware and can get it replaced.
- If you make a mess, clean it up. I will know, and extra-curricular brewing privileges will be removed for repeat offenders.
- The lab will be open from breakfast and locked an hour before curfew. If you’ll need access outside of this, you will need my prior permission before you start brewing. Please bring me a timetable showing why the potion cannot be completed in normal hours.
- Any questions or problems, please come and find me. I’m most likely to be found teaching in the classroom, or in my office.

Hogwarts RPG Name: The Narrator | follow me; everything is all right.
All seems to be as it should in the Potions laboratory; however, those who need to use a certain item might notice that they have decreased in number.
Glancing over at the shelves you may notice that several phials that were there just the day before are nowhere to be seen. Perhaps someone recently used them for a fairly large brew? Or maybe the house-elves had taken them for cleaning?
Nothing has been recorded in the logbook and, for those that try, summoning them proves ineffective. Where, oh where, could those missing phials have gone?
If you have your own phials or just don't care to pay attention to such minor things, you would be totally oblivious that anything in the room is missing.

Daisy was determined to "redeem herself" after what had happened and so she decided to head to the Potions Laboratory. She stood at the entrance of the laboratory and peered inside. She then saw the massive amount of ingredients that had been removed. She had with her a notebook and self-inking quill and so she quickly wrote down a list of possible missing ingredients. Quote:

She then consulted her list and realised that these items weren't really standard ingredients so she made a mental note to see Professor Noble as soon as possible. She headed for the office of her Head of House.

Nimma was here to make sure the laboratory was up to Master Noble's standards, and to Nimma's delight the room wasn't too out of order. Some dusties, yes yes, but that was nothing for Nimma! She continued the process throughout the room when suddenly she stopped. She could tell that there were supposed to be more glassies in here but they were nowhere to be found! First things first, Nimma checked the log to see who had taken them all, but... nothing! No Algamuses or Toddles or Nobles... Nimma's brow furrowed as she tried to think of where Master Noble's belongings had gone and *gasp!* would he blame poor poor Nimma?? Oh she did not know... In a last attempt to find them, Nimma began searching through the room to see if she could find anything. |

| Come join! Stuck inside with Sirius | *Splish-Splash* | bamBAM | ☁ Spooktacular ☁ It taken a while, given things had kept disappearing, but Noble had finally managed to restock the potions laboratory back to full capacity. Now it was time to help restock the Healer's stores, which had apparently been depleted of several healing balms and anti-itch creams in an attempt to cure the symptoms of the epidemic that had been going round the students. He could have easily enough done it alone, but he knew of several aspiring healers in his classes, and an extracurricular opportunity for potions enrichment, possibly alongside the Healer and his former housemate, seemed like too good a opportunity to miss.
Several trays of ingredients were out ready on the front desk, and Noble already had a large cauldron of lime green liquid bubbling over a flame. On the front of desks, a line of clean cauldrons awaited anyone and everyone who wanted to come help...as long as they brewed with attention and accuracy. A ruined balm or cream was no use to anyone.

"Hello, Professor," Daisy greeted as she made her way to a cauldron.

| you wanna fite? | 💚 nickleback 💚 | Uh, anyway. Maxie found he liked potions. it was interesting, and kinda calming and was one of the few somethings he actually managed to do well (flying was the other something).
He wanted to help too. Because some of the very few people he liked in this school were affected by the fur and the itching, and it seemed like a nice thing to do- to help create more curatives. In his robes, with his gloves tightly on, Maxie stepped to the plate - metaphorical plate - and awaited Noble's instructions.

oh. "h-h-hello Professor."

Hogwarts RPG Name: Kassandra Sutton Graduated | | Ravenpuff | Part Ninja | Boat Rocker | Exhausted Pigeon | With the mutants caged and taken care of, Kassie was ready to be focused on putting things back to the way they were. She still couldn't believe how many items had disappeared or been ruined over the course of the term. "Ah, Professor Noble. Such a nice setup you have. I'm here to help in any way I can."
She looked around the room and spotted Daisy and Maxie. "Wonderful of you to assist the professor and help replenish supplies." After noticing the trays of ingredients set out, Kassie headed over and got to work making the healing balms and anti-itch creams.

| Stuck inside with Sirius | *Splish-Splash* | bamBAM | ☁ Spooktacular ☁ "Good afternoon, Daisy," Noble greeted as the Hufflepuff entered the laboratory. He wasn't surprised in the slightest that she'd decided to come join their efforts, given her career aspirations and general dedication to classes and the school. He was a little more surprised by her younger housemate that followed though. "Afternoon, Max. You doing okay?" The kid looked, well, nervous. Jittery. He didn't have need to be. Probably. "This is going to be fairly informal brewing compared to the classroom. You're welcome to follow the recipes on the blackboard at your own pace, and work in groups if you so desire. But I do expect your full attention and accuracy on your potion." He considered them carefully, almost expectantly. "The aim is to restock to the healer's stores, not make her patients' symptoms worse, or waste ingredients and deplete the newly restocked laboratory."
There was a lingering pause, broken as someone else entered. Noble looked to the doorway. "Ah, Professor Sutton. Nice of you to join us." At least, he assumed it was...and that the divination professor did have some brewing skills to share with them. "Any questions?"

Daisy smiled at the thought of this informal yet important brewing session. When Professor Noble asked if there were any questions, Daisy raised her hand. "Well, it isn't a question. I just want to let you know that I will be happy to work with Max if he would like to work with me." |
