| | Pathways A set of paths link the Courtyard to almost every area of the Grounds. Walking upon these stone covered paths, lined with all sorts of trees is a lovely way to clear your mind after a long day of classes. This is a quiet area of the Grounds with the soft sound of leaves rustling in the wind or lightly crunching below your feet. Doesn't the air just seem fresher around here somehow?
Take a walk with a friend, find an unoccupied bench to read a book, climb one of the many trees, smell the roses or play hide and seek in the thick vegetation. Be sure not to trample any of the flowers unless you personally want to hurt the Groundskeeper's feelings.

NomMNOMom.
Food. Food.
A couple of the fuzzies eyed the Hufflepuff boys curiously. It didn’t matter that the one boy’s stomach was growling, because they were being fed and had seemingly bottomless stomachs of their own. And they were going to grab every last morsel of food … right up to including the food laid out prior in the cage, unaware that they were about to be enclosed. Joshua kept tempting the pink fuzzball that was eyeing him with the carrot, tossing bits of of it to the ground. As Amelia and the boys and Hanna got started on making food trail’s that lead into the cages he sounded his approval with a beam since shouting probably wasn’t the best option. He didn’t want to spook the furrballs away. "Good ideas. Lead the fuzzballs straight into the cages everyone and i’ll be ready to flip the closing switches."
Professor Wishart watched how some of the fuzzballs ventured closer and closer to the cages. The fuzzballs seemingly very unawares right now and just focused on the food stepped fully inside and thus enabled Joshua to close up the cages which he did quick as a bolt. With all the fuzzies locked up he let out a sigh of relif "Good job everyone now we just need to get the fuzzball cages to the ministry people."

| Zombie Apocalypse Team Leader ★ ★ in a crown of pepperoni and artisan cheese ... To be honest, it was probably a good job that Maxie had such a firm grasp on his hand in return, because the moment some of the pink gizmo army turned their gazes to the Hufflepuffs, Aaron wanted to bolt. And his hand immediately released the other boy's, fight of flight reflex fully engaged. BUT... frantic running, whilst probably peeing himself, would've brought more attention than his rude stomach had.
The strong urge was there, though. He had much more living left to do. It wasn't his time to die..... And yeah, he was trembling some. It couldn't be helped, but he tried to steel himself for the younger kid. He'd noticed that the stuttering had worsened. Not that Aaron blamed him. He was terrified himself. ".... It's okay... I'm okay, and you're okay. I won't leave you." He retook the hand, and pulled Maxie closer. Because the small pink creatures were allowing themselves to be herded into metal cages, and Aaron couldn't help but feel like that was too easy of a solution. He wasn't one for "the other shoe will drop", but... He was scared, okay? His brain was supplying worse, and WORSE outcomes. And he'd heard stories of what had happened to his cousin at this very school not that long ago.
.... But the latches had been thrown, and the creatures were.... sealed away? How strong were those cages? What if they got hungry again and began fighting to break free? "...... Will those actually hold?" He found himself speaking up, his voice remarkable steady despite the shivering.

| Sassenach | RAVENPUFF | Sing me a song of a lass that is gone | bookDRAGON | #awkwardturtle<# In the end it all seemed to happen rather quickly. She and Ewan were trying to lure the creatures into the cage, the two Hufflepuffs were understandably scared, and the Professors were doing everything they could to get the pink fluffies into the cages.
And it happened.
With a moment of disbelief, and then relief, Hanna smiled as she realised Professor Wishart had closed the door on the cage, the creatures inside. "We did it," she whispered. With some beans still in her hand, Hanna walked over to the cages and carefully emptied her loot for the creatures. She didn't want them to be hungry whilst they were in there.
But she also had questions! "P-Professor, do you think they will be okay?" A furrow of worry was etched on her face. "What if they eat through the cages?"

Joshua stood and peered down at the pink furry creatures in the cages and wondered not for the first time how these small things could eat up a whole human? Hearing Aaron’s very valid question he looked over at the badger youth and affirmed with the confidence he could muster into his voice. "Yes, Aaron the cages will hold I’m sure of it. The cages are made by officials from the ministries creature department and they are experts so we’re safe now, nobody else will be nommed on."
Glancing over at Hanna he nodded with a smile. "I’m sure the creatures will be okay Hanna don’t you worry. Professor Wayland and the other creature officials will make sure of it. The creatures won’t be able to eat through the cages. There are protective charms in place to prevent that." Or at least that was what Professor Wishart silently hoped. Pulling out his wand to levitate the cages in front of him he said "Let’s get back up to the castle everyone, it’s getting late. I hope we haven’t missed dinner." And with that he lifted the cages into the air and started to walk slowly back towards the castle.
