| | |  Entrance Hall
 Whether you are brand new to Hogwarts or have been here a while, the Entrance Hall is always a breath-taking sight to see. Always memorable are the high ceilings, the colourful portraits on the walls, and the grand marble staircase. Various torches light the large room, keeping it nice and cozy at all times of the year. Arched windows atop the staircase, featuring the four Hogwarts Founders in all of their glory, bring in natural lighting as well.
This room is the gateway to the rest of the castle; however, those parts are temporarily off-limits until Headmaster Trent dismisses the student body from the Start-of-Term Feast for bed. Of course, you are more than welcome to slip out of the Great Hall to use the restroom in the corridor a few doors down or take a short break from the crowded room after the speech has been given. Not much is happening out here besides a team of house-elves taking everyone's luggage to the appropriate dormitories. Don't linger out here too long; you have a feast to enjoy.

New year new year! Hm hmhm hmmm! Nimma had gotten the bounce back in her step over summer and she was working fast fast fast! Luggages here and petsies there. Today was Nimma's favorite day!

The start of term feast was always an amazing sight but sometimes it was nice to have a second on your own and take it all in. This was one of those moments for Ewan. Feigning the need to go to the toilet, he was now walking through the entrance door when he came to a sudden stop. “Oh. Hello Nimma, need a hand there?” Walking over, he couldn’t help but smile down at the little elf. House elves really were amazing little things.

Nimma was always so so grateful for studentsies like Master Ewan who were so kind, but she wanted him to be happy and enjoy time with friends! While she spoke, she continued to organize the luggage by house to make her trips easier. It always ended up saving her a little time so that she could help prepare dessert! | |

Then, as if he’d been struck by a lightning bolt, inspiration hit “Do you know anything about what’s going on in the hall Nimma?” after all, house elves saw things that most people didn’t. “I mean, you know, there’s a small pink fluff ball running around in the hall and some of the other kids are acting strange”. He wasn't sure if Nimma could tell him or even if she knew but it couldn't hurt to ask.

Help what? His mind raced as he considered what he’d said to Nimma. “Aha” Quick as a flash, he set off back to the Ravenclaw table, ready for Nimma to appear.
