Atop the marble staircase in the Entrance Hall along the corridor that will direct you to the moving staircases, you stumble across a long, horizontal cork bulletin board that is encased in glass. Here you will find an array of notices and signs, stick up by tacks and push-pins, that are meant for the entire student body to read. Anything from requests, advertisements, lost and found notices, and gentle reminders can be viewed for all eyes to see.
If you have something you would like to add to this colourful, paper-filled board, you are more than welcome to do so. Simply slide over the glass surrounding the board (it is never locked) and stick on the board whatever it is you wish for everyone to know. Having this board for your use is a privilege, not a right, so use it responsibly. Any crude drawings or messages will result in the bulletin board crumpling them up and throwing your balled notice at your face, giving you a deep paper cut, before you even have a chance to slide the glass back to its original place.

Patrick walked down to the bulletin board that had been the site for many a strange happening in his four previous years at Hogwarts. He figured that this year would be no different. But, this year he was going to post his Quidditch notice as a captain again. He was so excited to get a squad together that he figured he would have a decent chance at becoming Quidditch champion again.
Sighing he slid the glass on the bulletin board back before he stuck the big sheet of green paper up. Upon looking closer you'd notice that the paper explains that Quidditch tryouts are going to be the following Friday. Bring your gear and your ambition. He closed the glass door on the bulletin board and walked away hoping he would have a good turn out.
Got some unwanted Christmas presents to sell? Or did a stocking stuffed with Chocolate Frogs yield new cards to be swapped?
Whatever you want to advertise to the masses, you won't be able to do it on the bulletin board. The cork board is nowhere to be seen, with simply a bare patch and a couple of screw holes on the stone wall where it used to stand.

Maybe try a common room noticeboard instead?
The Bulletin Board was always something that would interest Kay. It would seem obvious then that she pause to take a look at any new notices posted there before she made her way back to her office. As she approached the spot where the Board was normally situated, a big frown creased her face. What in the world? Where was the board? All that remained was an ugly, bare patch on the wall. The screw holes made it look even uglier.
Over Christmas the Ravenclaw had unsurprisingly accumulated more books, now normally Juni would sell back some of her books to Flourish and Blotts when she could. But she had some books that she didn't buy for the Diagon Alley shop.
So she did decided to try to sell them here. Maybe get a little money for trips over the summer or University books. She also was posting her old broom too. She had gotten a new one last term for being named captain. She still had kept it but now it was just in her way. Maybe she could sell it for cheep to a first year for next term or something. Point was she didn't need two brooms.... Obviously.
Once Juniper had got the bulletin board she noticed that Professor Steward was standing there. Did she have some important Ravenclaw notice that she didn't know about. "Hello Professor." Over the years Juni had had her options about the Ravenclaw head of house but after last term well let's just say you don't know what you got until it's gone.
Polyjuice potion aside.....
The seventh year went up to the board or where the board should be. "Hey, where's the board?" Turning and looking around did it get moved? Or was this a basic peeves prank?

Which student would dare to remove it?
It was a rare occurrence when Aaron wanted to actually check the main bulletin of the school, but when he did, they usually had posts for cards. The collectible kind. Unfortunately, his cards had been attacked by rats...or something... and some of them had suffered damaged via bite and scratch marks.
Frustratingly, he hadn't seen that coming.
Rubbing his forehead whilst simultaneously fluffing his hair, the Hufflepuff approached the board.... or... not? Professor Stewart and Cap'n Juni were standing vigil over a blank stretch of wall. There was no bulletin board in sight.
.............Okay.
"... Did the bulletin board get moved again?" It was classic Peeves, and probably amusing to someone who hadn't just discovered shredded frog cards, but Aaron found himself really miffed by it. An echo of his stress from damaged property.

Chase had made some AWESOME posters for the unofficial dance club that Lucas had been in charge of and was ready to post them up on the bulletin board now that they were finally done. He had spent weeks designing them because they had to be cool enough to attract the right crowd and show that they were seriously awesome dancers. After all, it was aaaaaaaall about the audience he was trying to attract. And even though he perhaps shouldn't have been involved in such an activity since he had promised his parents to stay clear of distractions... Dancing was just something that the boy couldn't avoid. It was in his blood... part of his DNA, you could say.
So as he climbed the stairs from the Entrance Hall, he found Prof. Stewart, Juni, and Aaron surrounding where the bulletin board was. Huh. He hadn't expected a line to the board. "Don't tell me we're all waiting to put up posters...?" he asked and then halted when he saw there was ABSOLUTELY nothing up there. WHAAAAT. The bulletin board had disappeared too!?!? "Not the bulletin board too...." he sighed.
Now how would he ever put his posters up and get the message out about their really AWESOME club. Then he realized he was the only Gryffindor and had a low-key reputation for being a bit of a rabble-rouser amongst his house.
"Wasn't me," he said as he raised his hands high up in the air and sent all of his posters scattering across the floor. It took him a moment to realize that all of his posters were around him.
With her notice in hand, Kassie ventured all the way down to the ground floor bulletin board from the Divination classroom. As she approached, she noticed the small crowd blocking where she needed to be. Before she could get huffy about the delay, she realized what they were talking about. The board was gone.
"Who moved the board?" Her eyes landed on Professor Stewart for answers as Chase sent the posters flying. "Oh, dear, let me help you with those." Kassie bent down and started stacking posters, waiting for an answer.

Kaysha was still puzzling over the missing Board. Where on earth could it have gone? Why would someone even remove it? Questions... she had them. And so, it seemed some of the kiddos did too. “Hello, Ms. Primeaux. Unfortunately, I haven’t got the slightest of clues. As far as I can see, it’s nowhere in this vicinity."The frown that she had been wearing deepened. “Or perhaps it’s a student this time around, Mr. Botros. They probably hope that Peeves will be the one getting the blame.’’
"Not the bulletin board too."
There had been reports to Kaysha that things had been disappearing but no one seemed to have the foggiest of clues to put an end to this annoying matter. Her eyes fixed on Chase. The Gryffindor saying ‘wasn’t me’ did somewhat make her suspicious. As posters went flying around them, she asked, “Did anyone see anything suspicious?’’ They were joined by one of her colleagues a moment later. “Someone did... or maybe it was Peeves.’’ Cue her looking at the kiddos for any give away of guilt.

Amelia was just making her way from the quidditch pitch to advertise about the next set of quidditch matches and get students hyped up when there was a gathering at the bulletin board. Or lack thereof.
"Uhhh where's the board?" The flying instructor asked, quite confused, looking Kaysha to Kassandra to Chase and Aaron and her Ravenclaw Captain. Was someone messing around and why??

What happened to the board?
That was the question that everyone had on their mind. That or some variation of it which circled back to the same meaning. Kaysha shook her head at Amelia. “It seems to be the mystery of the day. I was just asking the kiddos and Professor Sutton if they have noticed anything out of the ordinary. Have you seen any such thing?’’
She herself had not.
“If none of you have, then keep an eye out. This could just be a prank and if so, whomever has done this has some explanations to make.’’ It could be something more sinister, like the Hourglasses but until there was more proof, there was no use worrying the kiddos.

The coast? Clear as the noon sun.
Like a thief in the night, Zoryn Spinnet rolled onto the scene. Stuck posters up side-by-side so that they covered an entire section of the wall that used to be home for the bulletin board.

And then rolled out. Not a whisper. Not a sound. She left behind not a single trace.
This. Was. War.
And she would be getting the last laugh.

It might be strange seeing the Muggle Studies professor performing magic to some but here she was, using the reliable Levitation Charm to get the task at hand completed. Just what was that task? To replace the Bulletin Board. It had been quite untimely and a great nuisance the old one had vanished weeks prior. Nevertheless, the one currently in her possession was hopefully be here to stay.
With the hand free of her wand, Kaysha reached to slip the glass door aside. It was only then that the Board, similar to that of the old one, was levitated into position. Once secured, the glass was slid back in place. At the moment, the Board was obviously bare but she doubted that it would be so for long.

Whether it had been his paranoia or the actual illness taking hold, Malachi had been itchy and was now all too grateful that the ministry had delivered the long awaited cure before he ended up looking anything like Kettleburn and the others. Suffice to say, the man didn't want to go home to his wife covered in fur.
Walking briskly, the man made his way to the newly replaced board and tacked on the notice.
Not wanting to depend on the chance students may or may not see, he also tapped it so the notice rang out through the entire castle and onto the grounds.

ATTENTION!
Students who have been exposed to the infection caused by the furry little creatures whether before or during the search, please report to the Hospital wing to receive the cure.
If you are infected, or suspect you may be infected, make your way there immediately. If you have a friend you suspect to be infected, pull them along with you. There's no need for anyone to go home in the coming weeks carrying this bug.
Thank you.
