| | The Quidditch Pitch Banner credit: Suziella The Pitch is home to the flying lessons at Hogwarts and is surrounded by the Stands. When Quidditch is hosted at Hogwarts, the Stands are decorated in the colors of the playing teams. When not in use, the Pitch is open for students and staff to practice their flying skills.
Want to set up a friendly game of Quidditch or Creaothceann? A quick chat with the flying instructor Mr. Baldvinsson, and he will grant you permission to the necessary equipment locked away in the Broomshed.
Usage of the Pitch is a privilege which can be revoked. Please play nicely, kids. If brooms or equipment have been borrowed, please handle with care if you wish to borrow them again.
Be safe, show sportsmanship and have fun!
Note: The pitch might be reserved for Quidditch practice. Please check the schedule if the pitch is booked by a team.

She was trying to have a positive outlook, yes, but she couldn't even fathom grinning while running. It really wasn't that fun.
Although, it was funny when he started jogging backwards, in front of her, clearly showing off how fit he was because he wasn't struggling to breathe whatsoever. Natalie couldn't help but laugh because this boy... oh, he was clearly quite cocky. And it was amusing.
But the laugh took too much air out of her and she was struggling to get enough air to her lungs anyway, so another jabbing cramp to her side made her stop and bend over her knees, PANTING to catch her breath. "Uuuurgh, I'm gonna die," she breathed out (obviously not serious) and then stood back up straight as she began to SLOW-jog. Because she didn't want to get in trouble or get caught by Peeves. "You're a show off, you know?" she finally added when she started moving again, significantly slower than before. He had to know. |

| new tl! for Saaaaaaaaaaammy with Zac :3 astronomizzle ♧ gryffinDORK | & the rest is drag ♣ #badluckDerf The morning's S.O.R.E had not been enough to stress his limbs and release the tension in his body, though he had completed his laps in record time. His personal best to date, honestly. He had been tempted to suggest Bel's method of racing against themselves - attaching those nifty little projectors to their arms - for the next S.O.R.E, but instead the Hufflepuff had hurried back to the Great Hall for breakfast to chow down fast since he had a meeting with a couple of fifth years. Tutoring Care of Magical Creatures for OWL studies and the like. It was after this and a little after lunch that he had decided to head back down to the pitch to knock a few bludgers around. Additional stress relief and to help clear his thoughts.
His personal broom draped over his shoulders, Derf moved to the center of the pitch, mounted his broom, and took off to make a few laps for warm up. Within his enchanted trouser pocket was a bludger he had received over the summer from his U-17 coach to keep for individual practice during the school term. It had been enchanted to come back to him after being struck by his bat, though he did not activate the charm just yet. Still zipping and zigzagging around the pitch, feeling the wind on his face and through his hair.

| Eeerrrnnn :3 Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite The walk to the pitch was a silent one in which she got her arm appropriately numbed, conjured temporary ingredients for a temporary salve of sorts then bandaged herself up. The real medical attention would happen once she was done however many laps the man deemed necessary.
Chloe's company was perhaps the only bright spot in this whole thing and even then it was a source of great anxiety for the Head Girl. Scrimgeour hadn't told her to run laps. Finding her here, the man may have decided to punish her for real. Everything was an act of defiance for him and if his reactions in class were anything to go off of, well this wasn't likely to end well.
At the same time, the school had already gone to hell. He was likely to find a problem with breathing too loudly. "How many laps d'you reckon he'll bother to make me do?" One would be ideal....but even she knew that was just overly wishful thinking. Ten. Fifty? Merlin take her now.

Chloe offered clean handkerchiefs to Jessa as they walked, duplicating the one she had over and over again. It wasn't as helpful as healing the older girl herself, but she could at least offer moral support.
Once on the pitch, Chloe seated herself cross-legged on the ground and began to braid her own hair, plucking flowers from the grass to tuck into the braid. This was just bored hands at work, the usual stuff. "I can be look out for you. Sit up top there, and when he starts coming, I send a patronus and you start running. Or, I guess, I could run with you. I have some angry energy to run off."

This was just bored hands at work, the usual stuff. "I can be look out for you. Sit up top there, and when he starts coming, I send a patronus and you start running. Or, I guess, I could run with you. I have some angry energy to run off." Honestly? "Knowing him, I'll have to run them all and then some." Her detention with him had proven as much. Even when she couldn't run anymore with her legs feeling like jelly, he still insisted she run and still timed her. He wasn't the most sympathetic to fatigue and it didn't help that she was unfit to begin with and was typically fatigued when running was mentioned.
The handkerchiefs were appreciated, even if not a direct help. The gesture was what she appreciated. Not having to walk alone. Not being entirely left inside her head.
Blue eyes fell to the sitting Ravenclaw. It was amazing how calm she could be in this current situation. Either that or she was brilliant at faking it. "We could walk." She countered mildly. Jessa Cambridge absolutely hated running. She hated most forms of physical activity and in this moment, she honestly hated this pitch, the grounds, the school, the professors; everything. "Let's walk, at least the first lap or two. I don't know. He told Petrov to meet him in his office. The first question might be if he'll come here first or leave us waiting. We obviously don't matter. We barely exist." Wouldn't surprise her if the man did go sip tea with Petrov while they ran indefinitely.
Come to think of it, that sounded exactly like something he would do.
