| Though he was old, Scrimgeour did hear the grumbling from a number of the students. He remained silent on the matter though. Of course the children wouldn't know what was good for them. But he, their headmaster, did know. He was thinking with the future in mind: an increase in energy and agility, an improvement in grades, and building sound character. If he was a bad man for making them run a few laps every day, then so be it.
As they started making their laps, it was then that the headmaster saw just how in need of these exercises many of the students needed. Some had barely made it a lap or two and they were already acting like it was the end of the world, getting themselves injured, falling, and claiming they needed to see the healer. Had he sent the Bludgers after them, then he would have understood. But this was an overly simple task.
He certainly wouldn't be calling down the healer. Where the children not capable of casting their own water or bandages? Did they not know how to problem solve for themselves and each other? What had they been teaching these children all these years?
It was all rather disappointing. The lack of seeing with their eyes and being coordinated. Excuse after excuse. Not to mention the unnecessary dramatics. He had lost his wand arm and he was still persevering for Merlin's sake!
Regardless, Scrimgeour did nothing. Five laps were to be done one way or another — running, walking, even crawling if they had to succumb to such weakness.
There definitely would not be any 'I-missed-class-because-of-laps' excuses either. Consequences would be handed out without question to those with that kind of mentality. Scrimgeour would make sure his staff would remain firm and consistent with that. Tardiness or skipping was not acceptable. Neither was spending hours making laps around the pitch. The task was simple and shouldn't take long — just walking would take the average person roughly twenty minutes. If it took a student longer, they had no one to blame but themselves. The man would recommend complaining less and not use injury as an excuse; all it did was take up precious time.
He did raise a brow at the sight of a bit of parchment being handed around, which was very obviously out of place given their current location. A mental note was made about one of the professors taking it from a student. His hands would be on that soon enough.
In the meantime, the old man just stood in his place, arms crossed and eyes watching the students like a hawk. For now.

Skyler decided that being rebelious not worth missing breakfast as her stomach started to growl. halfway through walking her first lap, she decided to start running a bit. She was a bit tired from the morning but it wasn't that bad. She did run in muggle school when she was ten years old and such. But still, five laps? Was that the right number? She decided to apologize to the headmaster later, in the meantime, she started to pace herself as she passed the headmaster, keeping her distance from the others. She wasn't sure if they were faking injuries but, just in case they weren't, she decided to stay back a bit. Okay, one down, one to go.

Before he could say anything else though, he watched as a kid ran into another - unable to help himself, the fifteen year old laughed, "wow, this is such a royal mess" Honestly, Natalie was.. mildly surprised at the reaction the running was receiving by the rest of the students. She wasn't HAPPY about it, but she wasn't losing her mind over it. Some people were falling over and tripping over people. Natalie just.. jogged past them.
She was getting tired quick, though, and her optimism was going on empty. "That's rude," she huffed out as she jogged on, her breath coming out in somewhat labored puffs now. Merlin, he WAS right because they were on lap, like, two??? and she was already dying? But was she going to let this BOY see that? NO.
So she kept running. And casually held her side because it was starting to CRAMP. And laughing hurt, so she just grimaced when he laughed at the kids running into each other. SO funny. |

As Skyler continued to run, she was feeling a bit thirsty/tired. She wasn't sure if she was allowed to use magic outside of class but she needed water, so she slowed down a bit and pointed her wand at the top of her head. She knew a few spells... she was a third year after all.
"Aguamenti," she said.
A spray of water ran down her head. She sighed as she was cooled off a bit. Another lap to go. How much were left? Three, okay.

Guess the stern and silent old man whom they had to call headmaster did not opposed of them walking. So walking he did. Maybe he should just cast a charm on his shoes. That way, he could finish the laps faster.
Nathan continued to stay on his lane while others ran past him. He wasn’t the least bothered by it, though. Running made his stomach rumbled more. Nathan opted to walk briskly. He hated following orders so he made his own by not exactly defying the old man. Nathan much preferred running laps on his broom still, but what can he do? He was determined to finish his NEWTS in this school. Just a couple of months more, Hale...and this was all going to be over.

Only two more laps to go, Skyler decided she would walk some more, just to rest a bit. It was either that or her fainting, whichever came first. One more lap to go.

Did his words make it easier? No. He continued to try and breathe normally but surely enough he started coughing as well. He also barely took notice of another hufflepuff girl who he vaguely had seen getting sorted yesterday. "Water, yes" he said after another cough and when Derf began to support him by wrapping an arm around his shoulder the fourth year shook his head. "No, i'm fine, really" he wasn't but his eyes flashed towards the Headmaster for a second. "I don't want you to get in trouble..." he mumbled just as Professor Stewart arrived.
Need help getting back to the common room? Oh Merlin's Beard this was getting way too embarrassing. He wasn't injured , he just had a lack of a good condition. And the moments they had stayed still he had been able to catch his breath anyway. He looked at the other students as they continued their laps and his eyes fell on Daisy. He knew the Prefect had a bad leg from the inferi attack last year as he had fought beside her. And if she could make it, he could as well. "Prof-" he let out another cough. "I want to finish these laps" he said. He sounded determined but he definitely did not look like he could make more than two rounds. "Not for him" surely they knew who he meant right? "But for myself..." Because he was NOT weak!
And there came another coughing fit. Yup, not weak at all. Lizzie looked to Derf, she knew there was a spell to conjure water but she'd yet to learn it, but the Prefect must know it. Looking to Dorian draped around Derf's shoulders.
"If you want to finish Dorian, I'll walk with you if you want. I don't mind going whatever pace you want."

| HOLISTIC ACTRESS {X O} EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED we got this she told herself as she began slowing down, her breath coming more easily now. She didn’t feel like her lungs were biting at her, it all felt clean and clear and bright and right. Pausing for a moment she simply took out her wand and cast a jet of water into her mouth before ending the spell.
Fresh water, it was nice really.
“we can do this,” she cheered to everyone that could hear and continued running slowly.

After hearing word that the healer would not be called, and further questioning the barbaric tactics of the new headmaster, Foster conjured up a stretcher for injured Hufflepuff. "It appears we shall be making the trip to the Hospital Wing together, Mr. Kovalainen. Do you need help getting on, or are you able to slide over?"
Foster glanced up to try and once again catch the eye of one of his fellow professors to let them know he would be taking the Hufflepuff to the Hospital Wing and leaving his post unmanned. Most of the students were about half way done with their laps and as they grew more and more tired, the robustness of their complaints seemed to be tiring out as well. Quote:

We can continue the discussion then." His head shook as he watched the boy run off with increasing speed. He had the perfect detention planned and was rather excited for it to start.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Octavius Jude Salander Ravenclaw Second Year | Slytherindor ♛ The Crazytastic Besties ♛ Shan Watson ♛ Points? Professor Marchand had given him points? Really? He blushed at the reward. He really didn't need one. He was just doing what he felt was right. Sticking with his team of students and peers and trying to figure out HOW to overthrow Mr. Bad Cold Stoney Face. Their had to be a weakness.... But in the meantime, he would thank his Head of House "Thank you, Professor." He even saluted cause he liked Marchand AND respected HIM much more than anyone else cause honestly #goals. "I, like Beth, like to look out for other students." They all had to stick together, no?
After helping his fellow classmate, Chase glanced back at Mr. Cold Stoney Face. He looked... disappointed. Chase shook his head at such a reaction. What else could the man possibly expect with students being forced to run? Sure, you'd have a few who would comply but the rest..... wouldn't. It seemed simple to him but perhaps Mr. Cold Stoney Face Headmaster hadn't expected this. Chase paused momentarily, as he started a slow jog behind Beth, what else the Headmaster would be disappointed in?
Hmmm.... Maybe this could lead them to successfully overthrow him...
He turned to Beth just in time to hear her comment about his previous remark and chuckled. "Magical education? .... like what exactly, Beth?" he asked as he continued to run. "They're testing our limits...." He paused as Beth made an introduction to another girl. He smiled at that girl (Dizzy) before frowning at Beth's statement of being OLD. Yes, he supposed that he was ancient at fourteen yeas of age. Sureeeee Beth. Sureeee.
"It's a pleasure. I'm Chase. Chaser Chase of House Gryffindor. Beth here calls me Salty. I call her GG- short for Gumball Girl - cause when I first met her she tried to trip me with a field of gumballs --- hence the name... She's also kinda bubbly I suppose..... But anyway Nice to meet you, Dizzy.-" he offered her a smile as he continued running at his pace.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Daehyun "Daniel" Yoon Third Year | This... was... tormenting...
All... of... his... limbs... were... shaking... from... exhaust...
Daehyun mentally slapped himself at his greatest weakness - physical ability. He was young, for crying out loud, and he felt like an eighty year old. Actually, he was pretty sure there were marathons for eighty year olds, and they completed them with no problems. Therefore, he was determined to make an afternoon or evening running schedule as well, but most likely in remote places where no one could see him flop like a one-legged goose, to increase his endurance until Scrimgeour wouldn't have the satisfaction of seeing him die a slow death every morning anymore.
... but until then, he had two more laps to finish, preferably alive. Breathing heavily, he alternated between running lightly and walking every now and then. He needed to make a running schedule fast and improve his endurance even faster, or else he won't make it to Christmas at that rate.

Just hang on and we will be on our way." Foster gave a flick of his wand and the stretcher carrying Kimi slowly lifted into the air and hovered gingerly a few feet off the ground. "Here we go." He walked forward across the middle of the pitch, keeping his eyes focused straight ahead. His plan was to walk right on by the headmaster and get to the Hospital Wing without further delay.
He was half tempted to conjure up more stretchers and take all of the ailing students with him, but knew that would most surely catch attention he did not want. The one student would have to be all for the time being.

Caledon Roth The Leaky Cauldron | Scattered mentions Rhibear ~ Madam Solo ~ Dark Brooding Girl ~ Accio Jedi ~ Gryffinclaw ~ Just a doll Gaston returned Beth's smile with a very small sad one of his own. "I know you didn't, Miss Greyvson. It was still very kind of you," he said. And acts of kindness deserved to be rewarded! He half-expected the new headmaster to interpret awarding points as an act of defiance, but it honestly wasn't intended that way; he was just doing what he'd always done. He nodded in reply to the Slytherin's explanation. "I understand; do what you need to do."
He turned to the other two students who were helping (Chase and Dizzy). The salute from Chase got a smile from him. "Mr. Splenley, Miss Luijendijk, can you help Miss Stone finish her laps?" he asked. He wouldn't hold it against them if not; he was already formulating a plan "B" just in case. He gave the injured girl (Lex) a sympathetic look and added in an undertone, "You're okay to go on?"
Gaston heard Foster asking for the healer - how could he not with that amplifying charm? He was going to help, but at the moment he was a bit distracted helping Miss Stone. His bright blue eyes darted in the headmaster's direction. Why wasn't the old man doing anything? Was he deaf? It took only a couple of seconds for the Frenchman to realize that the healer wouldn't be summoned. Really?! You're just going to let them suffer? he thought, dropping his gaze to hide the anger blazing in his eyes. Either Scrimgeour was completely evil or completely insane! For Merlin's sake, even Fletcher mentioned the healer! That should tell him something...
He vaguely wondered what had happened to the headmaster to make his heart as cold as that metal arm of his. Had some tragedy hardened him? Or had he just never learned to be kind? In a strange way, Gaston pitied him, but there wasn't time to think about that now. He had injured students to tend to, since clearly no one else would! Foster already had already conjured a stretcher for Kimi before he had time to send a patronus for Penny, so he acknowledged his colleague with a look before turning his attention to Stella and the three boys with her (Abra, Mark, and Lucas).
Gaston's eyes widened in shock and sadness upon hearing that the little one (Stella) had asthma, and his heart sank. She shouldn't have to worry about getting in trouble, but deep down, he knew she was right. His heart went out to her. Maybe it was just the effect seeing tearful students had on him, or maybe it was out of longing for his own daughter, but either way, he felt especially paternal toward this one. He just wanted to give her a big hug and take her away from the pitch! He bent so that his eyes were level with hers, hoping she wouldn't be frightened by the blind eye and scars across half his face. "Okay, just take things a little slower while you try to catch your breath," he said, choosing his words very carefully so as not to draw ire from the headmaster. "Use your inhaler if you need it." The mention of the hospital wing as acknowledged with a nod. He could have her uniform sent down from Gryffindor tower and ask a house elf to bring her breakfast, if need be. As long as her first class of the day wasn't Scrimgeour's or Fletcher's, she should be okay. "Please try not to cry... everything'll be okay, I promise," he added in a whisper, hoping she would understand his meaning by the look in his eyes.
He beckoned to Abra and whispered, "Please stay with her... and if she needs to go to the hospital wing, could you escort her on your way back to the common room?"
With that taken care of, Gaston turned his attention to the two first year boys (Mark and Lucas). "Your nose should stop bleeding on its own soon, Mr. Gunter, but if you like, I can heal it with a spell," he offered, drawing his wand. Then he turned to the other boy. "Are you injured, Mr. Dakest? You need to finish your laps..."
Good Godric Gryffindor! Were they done yet? His heart couldn't take seeing his students in distress like this!

Hogwarts RPG Name: Andromeda Renzler-Denaker Gryffindor First Year | Chase and Beth, and Merchand and Lex at the end. Fluttery Pegasi Dizzy was breathing fine. Years of riding bikes everywhere had kept her great shape. That wasn't troubling her, no. But biking and running put the body through such different stresses, and her lack of running all these years was catching up to her, and biting painfully in her side. She clutched her side, slowing along side Beth and grateful for it.
As soon as she slowed, the knot in her side loosened ever-so-slightly. It'd take a while yet to unravel, but at least it was something.
And watching the boy, Chase, and Beth talk about one another, now that was entertaining enough to take her mind off the pain. Dizzy had seen a lot of people trip over themselves with crushes. It came with being the daughter of a veela. And she was seeing all the little tells and signs right now. Big time from Chase. How they didn't seem it themselves was absurd to Dizzy. Oh, well. This was good to save for later. "Nice to meet you too Chase. Or, do you prefer Salty? I have candy from back home that might perfect for you." Her eyes gleamed mischievously. How would Salty handle candy that lived up to his nickname and then some? And would Beth intervene to spare him?
And gumball girl? Dizzy glanced over at Beth just as Beth was using her wand as a magic drinking fountain. "Me too, please!" she said, opening her mouth for Beth to jet some water in for her. Then she turned back to Chase. "I call her Beth, Kleine Nichtje. It means 'Little niece." She shrugged. Not as unique or original as the nicknames the two gave each other, but, oh well.
Hearing her name, Dizzy turned and met the Professor's eyes. She still didn't know his name, given this morning was the first day of school and no one had introduced them in the feast. "Of course, Professor." He seemed like one of the good ones, not like the Headmaster or his pet. Turning to Lex, Dizzy jogged slowly over until she was next to the girl. "If you need to, just lean on me, okay?" Lex seemed to be doing well on her own right now, but if that changed, Dizzy would be here to help take Lex take the weight off her ankles.

Stella looked looked up at her head of house, boy even when he was kneeled down in front of her he was taller then her. Holding back tears that were escaping her eyes she nodded. "Yes sir Professor I will, thanks for caring you seem like the only one that does." she whispered to where only he can hear her looking over at the Headmaster. " I will sir thank you. she said wiping her face looking at him not even scared by his appearance.
Looking into his eyes she nodded meekly and smiled weakly at him. She didn't know why but she knew things were going to be ok just by looking in his eyes. " I...I don't want Abra to get in trouble because of me Professor, I would feel horrible if he did." she said quietly but to where they could hear her. She also didn't want to lose any points, she wanted to help Gryffindor to glory and win the house cup this year, not lose any points. She was determined to finish these laps even if she had to walk the rest of them, she wasn't going to give up even if she couldn't breathe.

| HOLISTIC ACTRESS {X O} EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED Turning her head toward Chase for a moment Beth just grinned ”yep, we’re good eggs” Beth nodded over to Professor Marchand. Pausing for a moment she just looked over to him, ”I’ll help too if needed – I mean, Lex if you want it?” she called back to her as Dizzy offered her aid.
Turning around Beth began running backwards. ”I’m not sure exactly…maybe our OWL and NEWT scores have been dropping and they want to make us all seem smarter?” she offered with a shrug of her shoulder ”could be I mean last year everyone basically had Post…straumatic? Traumatic stress disorder with the inferi thing” she bit down on the edge of her lip and sighed. ”what don’t like being called Old Chase? I mean…its not yet November, you’re only O N E year older than me for JUST one day of the year…one day – every other day you’re old Chase.” seeee old, it made complete and utter sense. ”I wasn’t trying to trip you – I might have…but, I mean obviously it was the trail for pixies because I’m friendly like that” she beamed as she continued jogging backwards for a moment. It was then that she heard the comment about SALTY.
Her eyes widened…was that shock? Dismay or maybe she just didn’t want her friend to be put through agony? ”…y-you still have Drop?” Beth’s eyes were wide ”my tastebuds are still revolting from yesterday…seriously I think my tongue is still burning” she explained as she opened her mouth and pointed directly at her tongue. ”Spenley, I implore you…don’t unless you want to feel like you licked a vat of stomach acid and licorice – really…its torture straight mouth torture” she explained and bit the edge of her lip.
It was then that she turned to look at Daniel as he ran and huffed near her. ”Hey DUSTY, you’ve got this” she cheered him on before turning around and facing front again. ”we should meet up in the library later…or somewhere fun” she explained with a grin.

Being the eldest of three, nearly four, siblings, Hanna felt a need to follow rules, even if she HATED every moment, and hated the new Headmaster. Professors being bossed around, injuries not being an excuse, points being lost, and detention. All on day one! "I wonder how much worse this is all going to get." Because for CERTAIN it was. This wasn't all it would be, and the realisation frightened Hanna a bit. Hanna was asking a good question, and Madison wished that she had a good answer for it, but she just wasn't sure. "I have no idea, it's not like we can't exercise on our own." And it was dumb to give detention and other punishments to people who wouldn't do that; this was all a big waste of time in her opinion, and she knew that no one was pleased about it besides the Headmaster and Divination professor. "I have a feeling that it will get a lot worse." Sigh. "I don't want to do all of this... I'm don't want to let them have their way so easily." Madison was feeling rebellious. |

| *Headmaster* Oh, how we drift away from our friends. And the ones back home play remember when
Daisy couldn't help but walk her final lap as her hair clung to the back of her neck due to the vast amount of sweat cascading from her body. She finally completed her five laps and looked at the Headmaster as she tried to speak due to being short of breath. "Headmaster, I have finished the five laps. May I be allowed to leave the pitch?"
She really needed a shower.

Patrick had kept pace with his usual time for a similar distance as he finished his final lap. His chest fell and rose with vigor that he didn’t know it could. About lap three he had lost track of Ryder and started to justvleep his own pace. But that was also the same lap where his stomach started to make angry noises at him. It sounded as if it wanted to claw open and eat him he was so hungry
Normally at this hour he would already be stopping by the kitchens on the way to the great hall getting a snack from the house elves. It usually was something small and then a mid morning snack. He was a growing boy afterall.
Hitting the final lap Patrick decided to kick it into high gear and finish the stupid laps. Pushing one leg in front of the other like he was doing a sprint around the ball field he came to the start point a bit winded. He placed his hands on his knees for a moment taking in three deep breaths before standing and walking two steps more to catch his breath. His breath was justvstarting to even out when he heard Daisy ask to be dismissed.... wait they were allowed to leave as soon as they finished?
Oh he’d be the best 5 lap sprinter by the end of this if you can leave as soon as you were done. It would be his mission to be in and out of here as quickly as possible.

"Plan B might have to be a fake asthma attack," she sounded slightly playful, but it also came from a serious place too. 'Sides, Jessa had a few starring roles in the past Hogwart's productions. If she could fake the worst asthma attack of her life, Zoryn could accompany her to the hospital wing and then they could go right back to bed.
Or it would cause a big enough interruption that this whole event would be canceled all together. Zoryn wouldn't be mad either way. Just saying.
Also, yes. Her shoes were slightly uncomfortable... A bit of transfiguration really might be useful COUGH Derf COUGH. You know what? She was even happier she’d decided not to walk. Looking across the pitch, seeing all the injured and the lack of medical attention they were receiving told her she would be fine going at a her snail’s pace. Couldn’t trip over your own two feet or someone else’s when you were barely moving in the first place. Just look at them. One girl looked like she’d twisted her ankle and some kids looked about ready to drop.
The young girl had no intention of being another casualty of this horrendous exercise. “Wouldn’t even have to fake one. A bit of triggered breathing should send me on the way.” She commented lightly, already knowing it was entirely possible to send herself into an asthma attack if she really tried.
The thing was, while someone could finish the pitch in 20 minutes by walking, she wasn’t walking at a normal pace—she was matching perfectly with Zoryn here. Factor in walking back to the castle, showering, getting ready AGAIN. It would be time for the first lesson before she knew it.
Blue eyes trailed the length of the pitch once before looking to her current walking company. “Gotta say, I’m almost tempted to find out what those punishments for skipping are. Ravenclaw wasn’t going to win the cup anyway so points won’t matter.” And detentions, while boring, were probably not likely to be worse than this. “What’re the chances Scrimgeour would give everyone detention if we all woke up tomorrow deciding we don’t feel like laps?”
Just a curious question, mostly. Jessa often contemplated things from all angles.

If Rylee was surprised that Reese had managed to get himself detention she didn't let on to that fact. It was bound to happen sooner or later she was sure of it, she knew he had a temper at times and could run his mouth a little to much rather than just hush up. What she was surprised about was it hadn't even been a full twenty-four hours yet before he had managed it and for such a silly reason! What he had said wasn't even bad! This was getting more and more ridiculous by the second.
Shaking her head and biting her lip to keep from sticking up for her brother like she wanted to. "Kick it up a notch then! Let's go! Faster!" Rylee encouraged Reese to keep running. The faster they finished these laps the sooner they could go eat. "I reckon tomorrow we time ourselves and try to beat our own times from here on out. I know you want to keep up with the kits, don't'cha?" Yeah, so she might have been tossing out any reasons now to keep him quiet and get him moving.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Addison Ayers First Year | Anyone thirsty?
Okay, Jackson didn't consider himself to be the most fit person but sheesh was this taking longer than he thought! He had completed his third lap when all hope was lost on him. He had run for quite some time and slowed it down to a jog partway through the second lap. He picked up for a run again and was now feeling the stitch growing in his side. Knowing that enough is enough, he came to an abrupt stop, stretched his side a bit, and began walking again before the adrenaline wore off and he realized how bad the stitch was. Of course, there seemed to be another distraction for this too... A lot of students were having an even harder time at this than he was, and he was definitely lapping people. Hearing someone actually say 'Hospital Wing' was what made him walk even slower. "Anyone need water?" he offered, noticing his own mouth was drying out. He pulled the now empty water bottle from his pocket as well as his wand. "Aguamenti," he said aloud, knowing full well that he would not properly cast a non-verbal spell right now. His water bottle filled up and he gulped it a bit quicker than he meant, some spilling on his shirt. He looked around, seeing if anyone looked particularly dehydrated. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Silas Rainier Montesh Jr First Year | Rylee! 1 of 4 Amigos Don't underestimate me! Cal just kept his head down and kept their pace.. He wasn't gonna go faster just to please someone with an OBVIOUS lack of common sense. You don't come into a school like a coup regime and toss the whole castle on it's ear and think there would be a bunch of smiling faces at the order to be blasted out of bed by an obnoxious alarm and FORCED to run BEFORE breakfast! " Let's just finish this... ", he said.. His ears red with anger.

| lives in a hobbit hole || Ern and Touz's Nuzzle || roflysst || looking at a seed packet She'd arrived at school very late the night before, missing the train ride and the opening feast, due to a whole gaggle of reasons surrounding a bit of an incident with her dirtbike in the last few days of summer, but Bel had heard all about the whole running thing and honestly? She didn't mind one bit. She ran every morning before breakfast anyways and the pitch wasn't even that big. Five laps was hardly anything. And for SURE her team from the previous year should have no issues with it unless they'd got soft over the summer. She'd already been for her proper morning run when the 'wake up' blaring noise had come, and now she was simply loping about the field at a comfortable breezy pace, lapping several other kids (honestly, given the fact that there were so many stairs at Hogwarts, how was it that hard to just run a little bit? Or even jog?). So yep, she didn't mind the running. She was a BIT unsure about this business with Headmis--former headmistress Hawthorne being told to leave or whatever it was, but after the whole situation the previous school year, Bel wasn't inclined to focus on the negative. Because, basically, YOLO. Live life to its fullest. Carpe Diem and all of that good stuff.
Finishing the five laps well ahead of the majority, Bel stopped and shook her muscles out, looking back out towards those who were still struggling. Should she cheer them on? Was that allowed? While she went through her cool down routine? Why not right? Also she was keeping an eye on those she was pretty sure would be trying out for Quidditch - and she was pleased to see Daisy managed even with her bad leg and all, so she'd be trying out again after all right? That would be bonza! Anyway the exercise could only benefit her dormmate's healing for sure. "On ya! You can do it! Come on, just a bit more! Pace yourselves!"
Encouragement from the finish line over here. She would head back up to the castle soon, after she was done with the majority of her cool down - the walk back to the castle would be a nice way of finishing that off too. And then she could get out of her workout gear and shower and into her uniform.
Basically, the exact same thing she did at least six days out of seven.
