Default Scrimgeour's Office

Due to being refused entrance into the suite meant for the Head of the school, Scrigmeour has been forced to make use of the office used by the previous Defence professor. The seating area that was there months ago is nonexistent. If you wish to speak to the headmaster, then you had better knock and hope he is inside his office. Mind you, if he is inside, he'll know you are there before you even place a fist on the door.

Those lucky enough to gain entry inside the office will find it to be quite reflective of the man's personality. Even though a fireplace is crackling to the left, the room is surprisingly dark and cold. The walls contain no splash of colour whatsoever, and not a single portrait can be found within the room. The bookshelf behind the desk, though, does feature some intriguing items, such as a few cracked skulls and vials of substances unknown to you, and a dozen or so books. But it is the large Foe-Glass stationed near the wall opposite the fireplace that is likely to catch your attention first.

In the centre of the room is an oak desk that contains very little on it. Carefully placed is a stack of blank parchment, an ink bottle with a quill set next to it, and a black book. Most of the items are of little interest to you. The black book, however, is worth being curious about. Not that you will ever have a chance to thumb through its pages -- it has been clasped tight with magic, and you will come to regret even attempting to touch it.

Regardless of why you want to pay Scrimgeour a visit, don't expect your presence in his office to last very long. He has a school to run and is therefore a busy man, and you surely have some studying to do (if not, more homework can be assigned to you).
