| | Room of Requirement Found on the seventh floor is a secret room known as the Room of Requirement or the Come and Go Room. This particular room is famous for transforming itself into whatever the witch or wizard that finds it needs at that moment in time. While many may have heard of this room, properly finding it is no easy task. Most come across it without even knowing during moments of great need and are unable to find it again.
However, those that are attentive to detail will remember that the hidden entrance to this enchanted room can be found opposite of the tapestry of Barnabas the Barmy. Simply locate this depiction of a man attempting to teach trolls in pink tutus how to do the ballet and walk past it three times, clearly thinking about what you need. After a few moments, a door will appear and allow you entrance inside whatever room you desire at that moment in time. Just keep in mind that the room has its limitations -- you, unfortunately, won't be finding any food in here.

| Sassenach | RAVENPUFF | Sing me a song of a lass that is gone | bookDRAGON | #awkwardturtle<# Hanna brought her attention to the girl she knew was called Archer, who seemed to be the leader of the study group. Had she constructed a timetable of sorts? It was funny because Hanna wouldn't have thought Archer would be the one to head the study group.
Ah. But it wasn't a study group.
Hanna sat still, watching some people depart, and wondering if she should do the same. What if they did get caught? The thought of those points being lost from Ravenclaw, and detentions, and even more pushups or laps was frightening. But as she continued to listen, she knew without any doubt that what Archer was saying had to be done. It just had to. They needed to leave. And since they couldn't exactly write home, to the Board of Governors, or the Ministry without their letters being searched and likely destroyed, it was up to them.
Nobody was going to help them.
She truly had no idea what would make them voluntarily leave. They didn't seem to be affected by rule-breakers, rudeness, disrespect, or anything. In fact, they seemed to welcome it. Then they would have something to play on. What could possibly break that down?
She listened to some suggestions, nodding as she heard them. She looked at Nettie, who had rebelled against the rules and worn a necklace. Hanna thought that was pretty brave, because she wouldn't have done that without constant anxiety. Nifflers, breaking rules, they were all good ideas. Hanna wasn't sure she would be able to participate in them though. She was trying to think about something SHE would be willing to do, without upsetting her parents, and her family. Aretha mentioned something about detention, which got Hanna thinking. "Yes, you're right. I've lost count of how many people have had detention this year. But... what if people got given detentions and didn't go? Or they just... sat there?" Her hope vanished at the horror that came next. "I wouldn't put it past them to put us under the Imperius curse and make us do whatever they wanted."

Benji had nodded when the girl in the room mentioned that he wouldn't be needing the book he'd brought with him. He'd thought not.
But now that he was here... Well, he was feeling a bit nervous. He'd been brave about coming, but now that it was actually time to begin discussing this? He wasn't sure he was ready to.
Truthfully, he didn't have any bright ideas of his own, but he did like the Niffler thing... He sat silently, just waiting and listening. He would be of help however he could, although he was scared, but he would need somebody else to come up with a plan first.

| Shoe!Girl │ Rebel Ravie │ Confundus Queen │ RP Addict More people had come to join the meeting in the RoR, both people Stas recognized and some she wasn’t entirely familiar with. Aside from the fact she thought she’d seen them in Hogsmeade and they were acting like they’d been there all along…but she really didn’t remember them. It was weird, and therefore she was going to make sure she stayed close to Rylee just in case. That and she’d given a reassuring smile to Abra as he’d begun gravitating their way. Yes to Gryffindor solidarity.
Except then Archer had brought the meeting to a start, and her earlier suspicions were proven correct. Not only that, but her fellow Gryffindor leader had made a quick escape back outside the room with Bel, which she didn’t really blame them for. If it hadn’t been for her little ginger Lion, she’d probably have second-guessed her decision to come too. Plus, she wasn’t half as confident with the Hufflepuff’s spellcasting on the room to protect them.
At least she had proven almost without a doubt that the phoenix wasn’t in any way related to the hawks. “I’m not entirely sure the professors aren’t already crazy,” she admitted after a moment. She hadn’t taken her squirrel necklace off when the contraband list had gone up, or her bracelet from her father either, but she wasn’t making it obvious. Especially since she wasn’t about to risk confiscation, and she also wasn’t going to break Professor Marchand’s heart any more than she already had. “I got an account of everything that had gone on before the holidays out of the castle and sent to someone I trust, that might be able to get it to Headmistress Hawthorne.” While they were confessing things. She didn’t doubt that Hirsch would have relayed her information to the headmistress, either, even without having asked him to explicitly.
While she was all for the niffler idea, she was still not entirely convinced that direct rebellion would work. “They aren’t putting wrongdoers into detention. Not really. I’m pretty sure most of the detentions that have happened lately haven’t been because of people doing anything wrong, and I don’t know that Hanna isn’t right about them using the Imperius curse on us either.” She was 90% certain that Professor Le Roux, at least, was a Dark wizard, and she was pretty sure that, even if the headmaster had been a former Auror, he’d gone bad since.

| connoisseur of comfort ❅ Crayola's Wibby Mrs Alex Turner ❅ Netflix and meow Bel and Abra had the right idea and Max was close to high-tailing out of there too except....... listening to these kids talk about releasing nifflers and trashing offices was actually kind of amusing. Did they really think doing any of this stuff was going to HELP matters???? He wouldn't put it past RoboMan to just expel the lot of them. He wouldn't mind if the student population shrunk a little to be honest.
Not that Maxton had any better ideas, because he didn't. He'd just come to accept that this was how things were gonna be from now on. Sure, S.O.R.E still sucked and so did a bunch of the other new rules but........ "At least we're not getting possessed by who knows what or getting attacked by inferi anymore," the Slytherin piped up moodily, rolling his eyes at the delusional bunch before finding himself a spot to sit with his books.
He flipped open his Charms textbook and started reading. Listen, if he was going to struggle up to the seventh floor with all his textbooks he was going to try and do SOME studying at least.

Rylee sat there quietly for quite awhile taking in everything that was being said. She watched how fast Bel volunteered to be a lookout and how Abra had followed. Leaning back in her chair she waited to see if anyone else was going to walkout, smiling lightly to herself at seeing Stasya remain.
Her young mind couldn't help but stray for several seconds wondering where Nathan was. If anyone would enjoy this meeting and have ideas on what to do it would be him. He had already taught her so much over the last few terms, prank wise. A lot of which she could fill this group in on but she wouldn't expose herself... not yet. Not without mentioning things to Nathan first.
Rylee wasn't very fond of using the Nifflers or any other creatures. She wouldn't put it past these professors or the Headmaster to do whatever they had to to get rid of the creatures. No, she wouldn't put anything in harms way. As for getting detention without doing anything, that hadn't happened to her but she had been made to clean up someone else's 'artwork' in the corridor before.
Listening and observing. That's what she was doing. This was done with a completely blank look on her young face mind you. Nothing was being given away as to how she felt about what was being said just yet.

Patrick listened to what his classmates were saying. Most of them were willing to begin causing havoc. That wasn’t a bad place to start but it depended on others doing their part in the rebellion. He looked at each person coming up with a suggestion. “You’re not wrong about causing havoc. However I think we need to be smart about it. Make sure we can’t get caught. But more than that,” he paised wondering if they had truly thought through this plan.
He sighed, “we need to make sure that at least everyone in his room is on board. I mean if one person doesn’t do their part our plan falls through and we could be stuck with him forever. And while I agree Maxton about our safety I feel stifled learning now.” Patrick remembered almost dying in DADA in his first two terms. He remembered the fear of the inferi being inside. He just refused to continue living in fear of what’s out there.

| Bathes in Maple Syrup | Dancing Lobster | Mrs. Charlie Weasley | Seneca's Beard | That's So Fetch True to her nature, Nora was observing and listening to everything that was said.
She wanted to comment about all the rebellious acts. There had been students acting out ever since Scrimgeour took over, yes? If breaking the rules and getting in detention constantly wasn't doing anything, then why would it now?
When Patrick spoke, her blonde head bobbed up and down. They needed to be smart about this.
"Here me out," Nora spoke finally. "While rebelling outwardly does send a clear message, I don't think that alone is going to be enough. Students have been breaking the rules all year, and that hasn't seemed to stop them."
Now, she wasn't saying no to acts of rebellion. It all served a purpose, one which she did understand. But there needed to be something more.
"Pushing buttons can continue, but it is the reactions that need to be documented to shed some light on what is happening at Hogwarts. We need multiple written accounts, our memories vialed up, photographs of what is happening need to be taken, any sort of proof that more harm than good is taking place here. These need to be collected and snuck out of the school and put in the hands of people who can actually do something about the situation."

| Sassenach | RAVENPUFF | Sing me a song of a lass that is gone | bookDRAGON | #awkwardturtle<# Patrick was right in saying that everyone had to be on board. Hanna still felt hesitant at breaking rules, but she knew this was the time to do it. For Hogwarts. For Headmistress Hawthorne, Professor Stewart, Kennedy, and Wayland.
She turned her attention to Nora next, listening to her words. She nodded in agreement, thinking of how many times people had been in trouble over breaking rules, even stupid little things that were harshly penalised. Why give these men what they so desired in the form of punishment? Nora's suggestions built up hope in Hanna, until it popped. "How are we going to get it all out?" she asked. Everything was being monitored. By the time they left for the end of year, sure they could take it with them but it would be too late for this year. Was anyone able to walk out of the castle and get to civilisation somehow? Sneak an owl out somehow?

Nathan contemplated whether he should come. Was he interested to know what they planned to do? Not really. He was finally graduating, he didn't think there was any reason for him to be there. It was really up to the younger ones to decide what they planned to do for their futures. Nevertheless, he was there to make sure Rylee was doing okay with this kind of 'secret' meeting.
He spotted Bel and Abram looking like they were 'standing guard' outside. "Hello. Mind if I join this study group?" he smiled at the Quidditch captain and the prefect.

With his brow creased he tried to think of something that they could do in order to ensure that this rebellion would go as planned. He wasn't sure what exactly they would have to do in order to get their point across.
Nora's point about the rules was spot on. Students had been taking a stand against the rules the entire term and the only thing that did was increase the number of detentions and disgruntled students. He supposed they could not show up to the morning exercises, but then again the students could just not show up to their final examinations. But if one person showed up that defeated the purpose. He was trying really hard to come up with something that would work for them.

| connoisseur of comfort ❅ Crayola's Wibby Mrs Alex Turner ❅ Netflix and meow The only reason Max was still here was down to sheer stubbornness. If it hadn't been for all the stairs and the number of textbooks he'd brought along to this sham 'study group', he would've left aaaaaages ago. And while right now, he was more interested in his books than actively taking part in the discussion, he was still listening. Somewhat anyway. "There's always Hogsmeade weekends," he said without even looking up from the page he was on when he overheard something or other about getting proof out there. That's even if they were granted the privilege of another Hogsmeade weekend which let's be real, with the current state of affairs they probably weren't.
Oh well.
Back to his reading he went.

| Bathes in Maple Syrup | Dancing Lobster | Mrs. Charlie Weasley | Seneca's Beard | That's So Fetch She looked to the others, wondering what their thoughts were. Yes, they could continue to rebel all they wanted. It was how they were going to get reactions out of Scrimgeour and his personal hires, which in the end would work out in their favour. But acting out would amount to nothing unless everything was documented like she had suggested. So, really, it was all up to them now.
Nora noticed some were nodding, including Hanna, at what she was saying. It did make sense, after all. The Ravenclaw colours she was sporting weren't there by chance.
But Hanna did raise a good question, and then Maxton suggested Hogsmeade. Nora remained where she was in silence, trying to come up with a solution. She highly doubted that their dictator of a headmaster would allow another weekend visit. Especially if the acts of rebellion were to increase for their cause.
"What if we don't have another Hogsmeade trip though?" she asked, pointing that out verbally rather than just keeping it inside her head. "We need to think of something else. There was to be another way to get out of the grounds undetected..."
And then a lightbulb turned on in her head.
"What if we use a secret passage out of the school? Surely there is at least one that leads out of here," she suggested. "We can gather everything - our written accounts, vials of our memories, everything - here and then one of us can sneak it all out one night and send it off. A trusted professor could even be asked to help us, pretending to take one of us to a late-night detention or something so it doesn't look suspicious."

| curly haired prefect - "sometimes I get angry!" - 30/90 - *chicken emoji* - probably @ Disney - I speak dog Secret passages? Nettie had had NO idea that there were passages that got them out of the castle. How had no one thought of this yet?! She smiled and looked at the older girl with a grateful grin.
"I think that's a good idea!" she piped up. "I agree, I tried breaking the rules and what good did it do me besides getting a detention?" she pointed out. She had gotten herself on Fletcher's radar too, not that she minded that - she HOPED he knew how much he was despised by her. "My brother works in the Minister's office - he might be a good contact to send stuff too. Or possibly someone from the Prophet?" she suggested. Her parents, unfortunately, had NO cache in the Ministry or anywhere else and might not be able to get anything done. Or perhaps someone had connections to the Minister himself?
