Despite the rain earlier that month, the weather for that particular day was significantly the opposite. That was, the air was warm and it was a beautiful morning outside. Unfortunately, the class could not be held outdoors as this particular lesson called for electronics to be used. More directly, they would be using the computers. Today’s setting was quite different from regular lessons. For one thing, a classroom was not being used but the Entertainment Room was. For another, the usual equipment that adorned the Room all seemed to have vanished (but were actually stashed safely and carefully at the back) and every computer that was available had been set up into rows and columns- much like a Muggle computer lab. There were long, rectangular tables that stationed five computers apiece and were accompanied by long benches. The furniture faced the front of the Room where Professor Kaysha’s trusted whiteboard now stood.
Where is your professor?
She’s at the desk temporarily brought in as she tries to focus on putting together future lesson plans. Given the recent occurrences at the School, Kay sometimes found this a challenge. Never the less, she looked up and greeted each arrival.
OOC: WELCOMEEE to our first OOC lesson; this would not be the first IC one Your charries’ will notice that the computers are off currently. They should not put them on... or they can and face the consequences We’ll get started in about 27- 28 hours.
YAY DERF WANTED TO PLAY. He was hoping the Hufflepuff prefect would take him up on the offer. DERF IS THE REAL PREFECT ALWAYS ahem. "Okay, I'll need to start up a game and give you the code. Let's start with a simple racing game." He clicked the one, one with little stick guys riding bicycles, and clicked on the two player option. "Okay, here's the code---" he pointed at his screen for Derf to come copy it. It was only 6 digits long, numbers.
He blushed when Stewart fussed at him and nodded. "Yes ma'am, of course, I'm sorry---"
And THAT was when the HM ATTACKED. Lucas winced under the man's tone and felt a crushing sense of fear. He had lost POINTS? He had never lost points before..he started last term, in his fifth year, and it...he....he felt awful. WHY had he spoken so loudly?! WHY? He had just gotten excited! But he nodded at the Headmaster. "Yes, sir." He bit his lip and wondered if he still had this race in the bag. Because no doubt about it, he would beat Derfael, but...now? His spirits were KILLED.
He shot his roommate a look. Maxton had lost points too. "It's okay, mate. We can earn them back sometime." He was trying to be reassuring.

Okay. Games. Abra could do this. He could have fun. He could totally ignore the Headmaster's presence and focus on playing a game for this class. Except for the occasional glances he kept sort of shooting the man uhhhh.
At the say-so from Professor Stewart, Abra clicked into the rectangle at the top of the screen where 'cutecats' was still displayed, and typed 'F-R-E-E-O-N-L-I-N-G-A-M-E-S', getting the spelling just a little bit wrong. Thing was, his words from before were still in the rectangle, so when he clicked 'search' thingy, he actually searched for 'cutecatsfreeonlingames' which... wasn't what he had been told to do.
UhhhhHHHHHH.
Abra didn't know what to do. He didn't know how to get rid of the words he'd already typed in, and now they were all piling up. To make matters worse, his anxiety levels got even higher when Scrimgeour spoke up from not too far away, making Abra jolt almost violently in alarm.
Uh oh. Unhappy Headmaster, points being taken, and here was Abra hugely failing at what he was being told to do. Feeling certain the spotlight would be on him next - for no real reason other than that was what his anxiety was telling him - Abra tried to make himself as small and unnoticeable as possible and did his best to look busy. With no idea of how to get out of his predicament, and not wanting to call attention to himself, Abra just began clicking madly on the words in the search rectangle in the hope that it would make them go away. There was probably a better way to do it but... well... he obviously didn't know it.
Oh. It was blue. The words were covered in blue. WHY were they covered in blue? Abra froze and stared at his screen for a moment, not... quite... knowing what to do. When nothing else happened, he cautiously pressed the F button, and watched as the words disappeared, replaced by the letter 'f'. Breathing a huge sigh of relief, Abra tried again, typing in 'F-R-E-E-O-N-L-I-N-G-A-M-E-S', and clicking 'search'.
This was a lot more stressful than it needed to be.

Lucas brightened up considerably when he heard what the next part of the lesson was going to be. Because GAMES. They were going to be spending the next bit of the lesson just sitting there and playing games and, well, that sounded like the best way to spend a lesson.
So, he placed his hand on the mouse and dragged it up to the rectangle under the Google sign. It was a little weird, if he was completely honest with himself. Because he kept wanting to look at the mouse but he had to keep his eyes on the screen as well. But soon enough, he clicked on the rectangle and started typing out the letters for 'free online games'.
There! Search!
...........
Uh, so, which one was he meant to click? There were a lot of options here. TOO many options. What if he clicked on the wrong one? He looked up and then around to see what everyone else was doing but it looked like a lot of people had already gotten started so..... maybe he should as well? There were only twenty minutes to this part.
Oh, but the second one said 'free online games' as well in the link so he was going to go with that one. CLICK!
The page that popped up was..... weird. And colourful. But mostly weird. Lucas leant closer to have a look at all the little pictures of..... the games? Yeah, they had to be previews of the games. Like that one was clearly about a grandma that's on the run from the police, that other one was about a piñata and.... oh! Hey, this one had a lot of colourful little bubbles on it. Maybe that would be a good one to go with. Yeah.
Stella felt a bit uneasy at the Headmaster being around, she could feel herself shaking in fear at the presence of him. Biting her lip she started googling for games to play to get her mind off the Headmaster that was in the room staring down at them watching their every move. It wasn't helping her asthma seeing how it made her have panic attacks. Then again she was doing everything she could not to lose points, she was afraid she was going to lose them.
Hm...what kind of games did she want to play? She seen there was quite a bit to choose from. " Ooh... yay there's bookworm my favorite!" she said happily. Although as she said that her eyes widened in fear and horror. Uh...oh, she said that while the Headmaster was in the room! Oh...no, panic mode panic mode! She started panicking afraid she was going to lose points. Having a slight panic attack she closed her eyes taking a deep breath trying to calm herself down.

Sure Juniper didn’t answer the question but she knew answer but yeah, why put everyone through having to hear the answer over and over again. She was taking notes and stuff. And listening of course she was listening.
So the first thing they had to do was to push the button. That was easy enough. Pushing the button, she waited for the button to light up. Then the monitor started to boot up. So everything was working right. She waited for the computer to fully boot up.
Once the computer was ready to go, she looked around on the desktop at all of the icons, even though she knew most of the information that professor Steward was giving but she still took a few notes.
Back to listening to watch her head of house was trying to explain with what to do next. Chrome. She knew what that one was. She pointed the arrow at the chrome icon and double clicked it. Now she was on the interwebs.
Now what?
She was ready to just move on.
So they were going to do a search. But Juni wasn’t quite sure what to search for. She had no idea what. Cute cats, or puppies? Maybe… Or maybe a place to vacation for christmas? If she could talk her dad into that. That would be great. She was totally going to search for vacation spots. She typed ‘places to go on christmas vacation’ into the box and hit enter.

Huh. Apparently the Headmaster person didn't appreciate a genuine offer for help via the Google. Chloe wrinkled her nose in his direction without comment, but her feelings were injured, sir. Very injured.
She actually flipped her plait in his direction and turned her attention back to the computer and her card game. Not to be rude or anything, but if you didn't have something nice to say... unless he felt he was owed an apology? She laid digital cards on top of digital cards and pondered that.

Professor Stewart was the BEST, and Madison was sure that the Headmaster would absolutely LOVE this. In her opinion the man needed to learn how to loosen up and have some fun; he was always so grumpy and unpleasant.
Just as she was about to plug in 'free online games' into the search bar, a boy had decided to YELL and give her a heart attack. It took a few moments for Madison's heart to calm down because she had certainly not been expecting that and he was seated not too far away from her.
Anyway... on to the search!
Madison began trying the words into the search bar, when her computer froze and the screen went weird. Everything was looking whiter and she didn't know how to get it to work again. "Professor Stewart, my computer is being all wonky and I can't get it to fix." Because she couldn't get the mouse to move the pointer across the screen at all.
SIGH.
Kay sighed softly as she strode to Madison. She offered the same advice that she had offered Jessa. “Please press and hold the power button to shut the system off then repeat to turn it back on. If you continue to have issues, try another system. Ms. Valentine? I’m sorry this is cutting into your game time.’’
SPOILER!!: Benji! <3

Thankfully, Professor Stewart was right there to tell him that it was okay and to click it.
So. Problem solved, and Benji didn't even have to ask for help. Everyone had yelled out the help unsolicitedly. He clicked the puzzle piece and said that flashing was okay (oi, well that didn't sound quite right, but he didn't make up the terms, ya know), then set about trying to find something interesting... Except if the mouse had been cool while twirling about before, THIS WAS A MILLION TIMES COOLER. He couldn't resist the urge to draw giant, swirly circles all over the page with the giant mouse pointer that GLOWED. This was AMAZING. Who needed a game?!
However, a game had been the instruction, and Benji was a rule-follower, after all, so he finally tore himself away from the beautiful, wonderful swirls he was making and clicked at random on a picture that looked interesting. It had a big yellow face that looked friendly. Pac Xon Deluxe? He watched as it loaded and offered him instructions, but he figured with something low-stakes like this, he would rather figure it out through trial-and-error, so he clicked "play" and started poking at buttons and trying to figure out what to do. Hey, this was pretty fun!
Kay grinned when she saw that Benji had moved along to a game. “You know, the computers are here all year round. I encourage you to come here more often.’’

He wasn't really there to watch them, and their priority was learning. Mind you, the topic of the lesson was ... not even worthy of even being considered mediocre. The old man was tempted to grunt whenever the Muggle Studies professor spoke, but refrained from doing so.
Besides, he had students to berate since it appeared that the woman was incapable of doing so. Another note was marked mentally about her incompetence.
"Excuse me, Kettleburn?" he grunted gruffly at the Ravenclaw girl. His eyes narrowed. At that point he shot a look at Stewart. Not going to do anything about that act of defiance? Typical. His gaze returned to the girl. "You last comment earned you a loss of ten points from Ravenclaw. I recommend you get used to me being here. Your previous headmistress won't be returning any time soon."
Then the instruction continued, which in his opinion was worse than sitting through a History of Magic lecture. And the woman continued to display just how incapable she was at giving consequences out to students who decided that shouting was acceptable in a classroom. So, once again, he had to do the grunt work for her.
"Carden, that'll be ten points from Slytherin for your outburst. Surely a Prefect would know how to control themselves in a classroom."
Then he moved on to the other Slytherin, who was even louder. "Choi, you just earned a twenty point loss from Slytherin. If you want something to shout about, then detention with me can be arranged." The choice was his: he could act like a student was meant to, or they'd be seeing each other very soon outside of the classroom setting.
Icy blue eyes then glared at the woman for a number of reasons. She needed to get a grip on her classroom. Misbehaving students, allowing them to play games, and some of the things they were on failed to function properly... this was a train wreck. Was this how all of the woman's lessons were like after all these years? This was unacceptable.
Kay whirled around to look the Head Dictator in the face. Her eyes narrowed dangerously. How DARE HE? This was HER lesson. “With all due respect,’’ she said in a controlled voice, though it was obvious that she meant none of that. The friendly smile was gone now. “I am the one conducting the lesson. There was no need for anyone to loose House points as long as they do not repeat the offense.’’ While he might have a GIANT STONE for a heart, she did not and believed that the kiddos deserved an opportunity to learn from the mistakes. Kay willed herself not to shake with anger. Regina will not be back. She would have snorted at the absurdity of such an assumption.

“But——" Actually, no. He figured it was probably best not to retort in any way. He doubted the Scrimgeour would understand the absolute significance of what had just happened and what he’d SEEN on that monitor.
Truth be told, he didn’t even care about the points because spoilers were a million billion trillion times worse. Still, he flushed a deep shade of red and slouched in his seat.
He didn’t even want to play games.
Could this lesson be over now? He needed to go and mourn the death of a fictional character.
The Professor mistook the look on Max’s face was because Scrimgeour had docked points from him. “I’m sorry,’’ she whispered so only he could hear. “I know you didn’t intend to speak that loudly.’’

After waiting what felt like hours he saw the screen load. “yes.” he clicked away on the screen.
He was starting to buy sugar and lemons and sell lemonade. He was a few rounds in making a good profit when he heard the headmaster start taking points. His eyes got big hearing everyone lose points. He was fairly certain that at this point the only people to win was whoever had the least amount of points left. He had sat quietly for so long because he surely didn’t know where to stand yet. He kept clicking the mouse and trying to play the game and avoid being Singled out by anyone.
Sugar, lemons... that equalled lemonade!
Kaysha watched with interest as Patrick played his choice of game.

Typing 'Free Online Game' into the search bar at the type of the screen and hitting the Enter key, Rylee waited for the results to start appearing on the screen. Not sure which game to choose she did the only thing a thirteen year old girl would do. She closed her eyes and clicked on a random link.
Opening her eyes again Rylee found herself looking at a game were she was a little frog and the point was to get the frog across the screen to the other side. There was logs and lily pads and things to jump on but they moved across the screen and if you fell it was game over. It sounded much easier than it looked.
Catching Rylee’s smile, Kay smiled back before making her way over to the Gryffindor. After the game loaded, she saw it was one that had a frog as its main character.
SPOILER!!: Dorian! <3

Back to the task at hand, the Ravenclaw became less bored when they were told to PLAY GAMES. BEST LESSON EVER. Dorian grabbed the mouse and moved the arrow to the search balk and clicked on it until he could type. With two fingers, he typed in the letters of the website they were supposed to visit and when he was finally done searching for the letters he pressed enter.
The computer was slow. Slower than he had thought and he had almost given up and moved his mouse to refresh the page when the page finally loaded. He scrolled through the options until he saw a title that looked interesting enough. Farm Days. No idea what it was about but Dorian double clicked on it anyway.
As the game started, the Ravenclaw got distracted by a voice that was definitely not one of the students. If it were, that person should definitely see a Healer for that... He turned around to look and when he saw that it was the Headmaster, he quickly sat up straight. The man seemed to be too busy taking away points though. If he hadn't been the Headmaster, he would have concidered it rude for him to come in to another Professor's lesson and take away points. But he was the Headmaster so he ...basically had that right now?
Choosing to ignore it all because HE was a GOOD student, Dorian began to play the game. But not before looking at his Head of House and see what would happen. Those two obviously could not stand each other. It didn't take a genius to figure that out. Body language was everything.
Kay was still fuming inwardly when she turned back to the kiddos. She was staring at Dorian’s screen now but really was not seeing it.

No wonder he’d had that eerie being watched feeling.
At least Scrimgeour was remaining silent and Professor Stewart was pushing forward with the lesson seemingly as planned. And trying out games was as good a thing as any to try and ignore the man’s presence. It took him a few tries to get back to the main Google page so he could go on a new search, this time for games. The list of results from Free Online Games were extensive and he had just clicked on the first choice to see what was available and wait for it to load when said headmaster decided to break his silence by taking away points.
Septimus bit back a groan. Granted Slytherin had taken the brunt of the damage but there was those 10 points from Ravenclaw. Battles with the man had to be picked and giving attitude hadn’t worked well. Plus, judging by the look Scrimgeour was giving Professor Stewart, it seemed to the third year that it was speaking against their head of house. It was dejectedly that he looked over the list of games, debating on something to try out.
There were some that continued to work in silence and Septimus was one of them. At least he was not having any issues.

Yes, Kay saw you, Chloe. At least the girl was not paying the Head Dictator any more attention and was back with her game.

There were five minutes left to the lesson. Kay was disappointed. She loved to see her kiddos have so much fun."We have a few more minutes, everyone. As you continue to play, can you give me your opinions thus far on the internet? Are there any aspects of this broad topic that you would want us to explore later on?''
OOC: Hey, guys! Just some more replies here! The main activity ends tomorrow
His brow raised when the Slytherin Prefect began to speak. The word but indicated the boy had something to say. A glare from the man was the result of that, daring Carden to continue with his statement. But he did not. A wise decision, a wise decision indeed.
The other Slytherin, the loud one, had an expression on his face that was noticed. Scrimgeour hoped that Stewart was taking notes on this. The wincing, the nodding of acknowledgement, and that obedient response. THIS was bliss. THIS was why consequences were important. THIS was proof that a student had immediately learned their lesson. "You can take five points back for your proper response, Mr. Choi. Do make sure to keep your voice under control in the future."
Lo and behold, Scrimgeour could be gracious when one owned up to their mistakes.
Kettleburn's plait flip went unnoticed. The man's attention went instead to the other students in the room. There were wide eyes, others were giving him quick glances, and the rest remained focused on their task. He hoped they observed and learned something that was, arguably, more important than their wishy washy Muggle Studies lesson.
Blue eyes darted toward Stewart like daggers when she addressed him. Now she was going to demand control of her classroom? The woman had no control whatsoever, not with students throwing snide comments or shouting inside a classroom.
"My taking of points is final," he replied nonchalantly. "And I recommend you come to terms with using consequences to enforce school rules. It is part of your job." For now.
Without another word, the man exited the room. He had seen enough. A much-needed change would be on the way very soon...

Uhh ohh... drama!llama. Hanna felt very uncomfortable with conflict, and found her body responding by trying to look small. She slunk down in her seat a little, and moved her chair closer to the table. Small thoughts.
But seeing as Headmaster Scrimmy turn and leave left her with an audible sigh of relief.
He was HORRIBLE.
This whole school situation was horrible.
Was it too late to write home and ask her parents to withdraw her?
Hanna took some moments after Professor Stewart spoke to get her own head-thoughts under control. Rational thoughts. Breathe.
She raised her hand and said "I'm not sure I'll use it much. It just seems a bit... slow," she said. She could take her quill to paper and knock out an entire piece of parchment, back and front, in the time it would take her to even open the email, let along typing the message. Good gravy, it would take her all day. "But I like the games!" she said with a big smile. "I think I'll play with those sometime." When she needed to lose her thoughts to something fun.

"It's...it's..." Jessa was all set to answer the woman's question on what the game was, subtly moving her finger about while her other hand worked the mouse but then the Headmaster happened and suddenly she was finding it hard to concentrate on both manipulating the game and the Professor herself. "It's..." Was he going to be staying for the whole lesson? The time was almost up and he didn't seem any keener to be leaving.
As if her class anxiety wasn't bad enough.
Jessa forced her attention back to the woman, trying not to stare at the man for too long in case he saw it as some act of defiance and turned his attention to her.
She blinked a few times, trying to regain some focus. "I'm sorry, Professor, what was the question again?"

Max breathed a sigh of relief when the new Headmaster finally left the room. Ughhhh. He was not a nice dude. Was there a petition they could sign to get Hawthorne back? She could be super intimidating at times too, but at least she was fair. And she was pretty. Why had all the pretty Professors left?
…… well, maybe not all of them.
He nodded and flushed a light shade of red when Professor Stewart whispered words of reassurance at him while making her rounds. He then turned to his dormmate who was also offering reassurance. Oh, and would you look at that. His cheeks almost matched Lucas’ hair. “Yeah, I guess. It’s cool… no big deal, right?”
Right???
And as for Professor Stewart’s final question of the lesson? He chose to stay quiet because he was still mad at the internet for ruining his favourite comic and he didn't want to get into even more trouble.

.......... And there was a..... video? A video. About houses and apartments and what looked like a group of friends having a great little party in their house. Lucas furrowed his eyebrows because he was sure this had nothing to do with the game.
And he was right.
When the advert finished, he clicked on the 'play game' button until another page popped up. One that had a description at the bottom which made him lean even closer to read. "Shoot two or more connected bubbles of the same colour to disappear them...." he mumbled to himself. That..... sounded simple enough.
The game loaded and he..... was confused again. It looked just like the previews, which helped a lot, but there were a lot of bubbles just sitting there, almost staring at him, and he was just..... confused. Yeah. He bit his lip as he moved his mouse around, hoping to figure out what-
Oh! When he moved his mouse..... the shooter moved! And if he just clicked over here..... the bubble was released!
Okay. It was easier to understand now. And the description said to shoot the same colour bubbles, right? And he had a red one over here and there were currently three red bubbles piled up together over on the left hand corner so..... he moved his mouse over and CLICK! The bubble shot out and all four of the red bubbles disappeared. Okay. This wasn't that bad, right?
Except..... the more he clicked, the faster the game went and the faster a new layer was added. Each of the layers started to get closer and closer towards the bottom line and for some reason, this only made his heart beat faster and faster. He bit his lip as he continued clicking. It was.... just a game. It shouldn't be making him feel like this, should it? But that didn't stop his hand from getting sweatier and his heart to continue beating wildly and....
..... yeah, he lost.
Breathing a sigh of relief, Lucas sat back and pushed the back button. Maybe he could go and choose another-

Oh. Oh, was something happening?
The first year sat up and looked around at the Professor, who was having a heated battle with the Headmaster. His eyes widened. The Muggle Studies professor always seemed nice but now she looked like she was about to breathe fire and really, he wasn't sure who he was scarier right now: the always-scary-stone-cold-Headmaster or the normally-nice-but-driven-to-be-angry-Professor. His eyes darted between them until.....
........ oh. He left? Thank Merlin.
Lucas bit his lip as he turned back around. The Headmaster hadn't really SAID anything but it seemed like he'd had a temper tantrum and stormed out and...... well, he was the Headmaster. He could do ANYTHING, right? He turned his attention towards Stella, to see what she thought, but..... something else was happening.

Their Headmaster popped up in the middle of a muggle studies lesson. Professor Stewart was lowkey actively showing distaste for him. Chole lost points. Jessa Cambridge forgot the question. Some people were still playing games despite all of what was happening. And yet, the most surprising part of this WHOLE ordeal was that Zoryn Spinnet would walk away unscathed.
Somehow, she had managed to last a whole twenty minutes without losing a single point.
This is what they call character development, my friends.
Also, Zoryn still wasn't paying attention because google-ing her friends was of utmost importance.

Nodding, Madison pushed the power button like the professor had instructed. After holding it down for a few moments, the machine made a sound and the screen went black. Huh. She would definitely make a mental note for the future. "No problem, Professor Stewart. I'm really liking this lesson." She was such a nice teacher, and hopefully she wouldn't get into too much trouble with the Headmaster.
Speaking of which, he was leaving.
Good riddance.
After rolling her eyes at his back, she pushed the power button again, holding it down until the system booted up once more. She was back in business! And it only took a couple more minutes for everything to be up and running. Things seemed to be perfectly fine, if not a little slow and Madison figured that it was probably best not to play anything that could potentially get the screen frozen again. So her best bet was something like a card game.
Once Chrome was up and running again, she entered 'free online games' into the google search, and went with the first site that caught her attention, scrolling through the long list of games. A lot of them seemed to be REALLY fun, and there were ones that played like video games, but there was no way that the computer would be able to run them. It was just too old and slow. A card game was still the best option, and she clicked on the first one that popped up on the list.
Spider Solitaire.
Madison had never played that before, and it seemed as good an option as any. Shrugging, she clicked on the link for it and went to play in easy mode since she was not familiar with it yet. Seemed pretty simple too... All the cards were one colour, and it looked as if she just had to gather the cards together in descending order from King down to Ace.
Slowly she proceeded to build the piles up, uncovering cards and occasionally adding more to the mix by pushing the face down cards to the side of the screen. It was pretty easy to play and there was no freezing, so that was pretty cool. Too bad she had ran into a little bit of a problem as far as not having any more cards to play. What was she supposed to do when none of the cards worked together and she didn't have any free spaces to move anything around???
There was an option to start a new game, and Madison clicked on it, figuring that she would get it right this time. Maybe.

The headmaster had finally left and Nettie finally felt like she could breathe easy again. She continued to play her candy crush game but noticed that not many people had answered the question, so she raised her hand. "I think I like the search aspect. Now that he'd finally searched for the thing they were supposed to be searching for, Abra felt a bit better. Just a little bit. Enough that, when Professor Stewart spoke to him again, he managed a weak smile in her direction because, yes... yes, it was okay, really. Once he stopped being so flustered, the task seemed a lot easier, and less stressful.
Of course, perhaps the fact that the Headmaster had left had a lot to do with that. The moment he had slipped out of the classroom, Abra had felt a huge wave of relief wash over him. He simply could not relax in the man's presence, it was utterly impossible. And, actually, he didn't really see how they could put anyone like that, such an anxiety-provoking person, in a teaching position, but... you know... he wasn't going to say that out loud. Obviously.
Clicking experimentally on one of the lines of blue words on his screen, Abra jumped just ever so slightly when everything changed, and instead of the google, he was faced with lots of little pictures on a new page. Those, he supposed, were the games, and Abra looked over them for a good few minutes before finally clicking on a picture with a lot of colourful circles on it.
A new page came up, and at first, nothing really happened apart from the appearance of the word 'Loading', but after a few more moments, the colourful circles appeared, with one circle down at the bottom of the thingy. Though the game had no instructions, he found he could sort of guess what he was supposed to do. But how was he supposed to do it?
Moving the mouse over the game, Abra saw that the little bubble-pointer thing at the bottom of the screen sort of... followed it, and pointed at wherever the mouse-pointer was. He clicked, and the coloured circle - or, well, he supposed it was a bubble - was released in the same direction. For a moment, Abra had fun sending bubbles every which way, but before long the rows of bubbles at the top of the screen suddenly started moving down. Eventually they reached the bottom, and Abra got a 'Game Over' message.
Feeling as though he had more of an idea of what to do now, Abra clicked 'Play Again' and this time, when the bubbles all appeared at the top of the screen, he made a real effort to match the colours up. Before long it became clear that that was what he was supposed to do, as the matched up bubbles began popping and disappearing. Okay... okay, so this was pretty fun, he could do this.
As Professor Stewart addressed the class, Abra glanced up at her for the briefest of moments, and then looked back down at his game. He clicked around a few more times, popping some more colourful bubbles, before chiming in with his own opinion. "I... think it's okay." The internet, that was. "This game is good, I like it. But I don't know that I like the sound of that email thing, if it wants to know things about me." He was, of course, referring to the simple task of filling in his details.

He could do ANYTHING, right? He turned his attention towards Stella, to see what she thought, but..... something else was happening.
"Stella? Are you.... okay?"
Shaking in fear she opened her eyes and looked over at Lucas. " I...I'm ok.""she said giving him a weak smile. Although she wasn't she just shouted out in class in front of the Headmaster and could lose points, the Headmaster was scary looking so she was a bit scared. "I spoke out in front of the Headmaster like older Lucas did, I can lose points!" she said quietly.
"You want to play a came together ?""Stella asked him trying to calm down. Although with the Headmaster in the room she found it hard to relax, one wrong mistake she could lose points. She bit her lip looking at Lucas hearing what was happening between Professor Stewart and the Headmaster she looked worried. " I hope she doesn't stack she's really nice." Stella said quietly to Lucas.
Juni started strolling down the pages, clicking on a few of the list. She had been to a few of the places before. Just not over Christmas. But some of those places would be amazing to visit that time of year. She nodded at the professor when she made the comment on her search decision. ”Yeah. I hope so.” Of course she would have to get her dad on board with the trip. Which could be easier said than done. She wrote down a few places so she could brainstorm a few ideas.
Email? Electronic mail. Taking more notes on the first dude that sent an email, wayyyyy back in the day. At least after they finished all of this boring stuff. That was one thing about Muggle studies. They normally go to play with the fun muggle things. Even if everyone knew what the muggle things were.
Click, Gmail…. Click create account. Now she needed a username. CaptainJuni05. Yeah she liked that one well enough. She came up with a password, typed that in. So they wasn’t actually doing a real email.
Well that sucked.
Now they could look up free games to play for the rest of the lesson. Actually Juni decided to look up cute kittens and puppy pictures instead of playing video games. Most of those games were boring. Cute kitties and puppies wasn’t.

Excuse him. She DID enforce the school rules but these were minor offenses happening during HER lessons. If they were repeated, then is when she would move to more severe actions. Students slipped up unintentionally. Didn’t he ever get that through his thick skull? Kay decided it was best she continue glaring and not saying anything. She hardly used profanities but around Scrimgeour it was difficult; she was so close to loosing her temper. It was a mercy that he left.

She had to admit, with the presence of the Headmaster and Professor Stewart trying to assert herself in her own lesson, the Ravenclaw was very concerned at the woman’s question of whether magic was being used or not. Never mind she didn’t wait for actual proof or an answer before taking action, that was a thought for another day. Jessa was more concerned for what would happen with the woman deciding on action.
There was almost a look of relief as the verdict was read. Just point loss. Nothing to do with her. She could live with that.
The woman’s disappointment did nothing to sway her. She wasn’t one of the people she cared about disappointing—she was not Hirsch. Wordlessly, Jessa nodded her acceptance. With the man gone, she no longer cared if her house won the cup, in fact she hoped they wouldn’t. Not under Stewart. It would’ve been too much for her.
There was no protest here. Others had lost points in the class too. She began packing her things, deciding on a quick exit before the Headmaster had anything he wanted to add. Point loss she could take. It didn’t interfere with her free time and didn’t take anything from her personally. That man was likely to disagree and find something that actually WOULD. Not wanting to take that chance, the moment they were free to leave she was gone. It was easy with her sitting at the back.

Hanna wasn't sure that it was the computers themselves that would make it slow for her, but more her own ability to use them. Still, even just a few practice sessions at the computer would surely help her get quicker at using them. Even if they were apparently slow systems. But any muggle technology still looked all whizz bang to her, being that she didn't always get the chance to see or use it.
And that was it. Hanna made slow use of the mouse as she moved it to the bottom left of her screen and shut the computer down. She waited, watching the screen change as it did so, and once it was black for a few seconds she got up and packed up all of the notes on computers, the internet, the email, and fingernails. "Bye Professor, thanks for the fun lesson," she said to Professor Stewart as she left.

That was it? A nod? No explanation, no retaliation? Kaysha only shook her head. Clearly Jessa disliked her more than she had thought.
SPOILER!!: Hanna! <3

“It was my pleasure, Ms. Newton. Thank you for attending. Enjoy the rest of your day!’’

Everyone had left now? Yes, it seemed that they had. This meant it was time for here to commence putting the Room back to its regular layout. She whipped out her wand to do exactly that.
