Good afternoon students.

Did you have fun over your weekends? Did you practice your spells from Thursday?

Hey proffeser.
*copes note and opens book*

We will start on our first spell, Portanis.

This spell is quite useful and extremely fun. You can alter how other witches and wizards see your outfits without changing or damamging the outfit themselves.

The correct wand movement is as follows. demonstrates as she says it
Tap your right shoulder, then your stomach, and finally your left hip.
Recite the incantaion Portanis as you do so. Think very carefully about what you want your altered outfit to look like.

Remember when you look down at yourself, nothing will have appeared to change. But when someone else looks at you if done properly, you will have a completly new outfit. All your clothes will be different. They wont match unless you want them to and think clearly.

There are special mirrors along the wall so you can see yourself and note if you are doing the spell correctly. Please take your wands and each pick a mirror to stand in front of.

Hello Professor. *Picks a mirror. Does the wand movement and concentrates on the outfit he wants.* Hmmm....Lets go for a coral necklace, khaki shorts, and a baby-blue shirt...Portanis. *Out fit changes to that of the necklace, shorts, but not the shirt, which is now gold, literally* Uhh....Professor, what is the reversal spell for this, cuz this shirt is really heavy..... :ermsmile:

(He is now wearing Muggle clothing--leather jacket over a green tanktop, and dark blue jeans. His shoes are the same.)

sorry i wasnt here before. i go to muggle school. but im here now.

"Portanis!" Nothing comes out of her wand.

"Come on now wand, you seemed to breaking down on me alot lately. Class is nearly over." ::She taps her wand lightly onto her hand and sees some gold and blue sparks emitted from the tip of it. :: "Ok, here I go."

::She takes a deep breath::

"Portanis!" ::She sees herself in the mirror as her usual blue jeans and black sweatshirt being transformed into a flowy aqua green prom dress, and her pollyanna becomes an elegantly done bun::

"Ouch! I think that's a little too tight, but I guess it's good enough. Now only if I have a date and have a chance to go if *she frowns* some hadn't stolen my muggle textbook."

OOC: so bad the class didn't take off. I was on college so I couldn't attend, sorry, but I hope we are continueing later :flowersmile: Maybe you should change the hour to a little later the same day, at night, so more people can attend (it would surely help my case =P) Luck!


*Nadia packs her stuff, pockets her wand and waves everybody goodbye, stepping out though the door.*

"better" see in the mirror that she was now wearing something that resembled a Gucci dress.

*pulls out compact

Succeeds in turning my robe pink with frills...

*Walks in with jean shorts, a white shirt, silver necklace and brown leather sandals.* Ok. Lets try this again *Concentrates on having the same outfit as before-khaki shorts, babyblue shirt, coral necklace, and tan sandals* Portanis! Yeah it worked!

Now lets try Tirinum!. Uh Professor, how do we do the wand movement?

OOC: sorry about that all. The last week and this week as well is utter crazyness for me. This class will be restarted from the beginning this Thursday April 8th at 11am PST and for those of you who can't be here at that time can still catch up. I'll continue the lesson later in the afternoon about 2pm PST as well. If you can't make either then just check the homework thread for assignments and take notes on the spells for class. Again, sorry about the conusion due to real life insanity around here. *lol* See you all this Thursday.

Hello Amber and Sarah. I'm very well today. A bit of a late start but unforunately I had a few things to....shakes her head suddenly Well its not important.

Most of you have had a chance to practice the Portanis spell I presume? If not the please go to one of the special mirrors and do so now.

Good morning Professor.

(Waits for the Professor to teach them the other spell.)

*yes I have practiced the spell in free time... its ok" she says

"Hello Professor!"

*walks to a mirror and practices for a bit*

Portanis!

*her robes change into a blue color*

*frowns*

"Green...not blue!"

Portanis!

*her robes turn a lovely emerald color*

*returns to her seat*

*eagerly walks back over to the mirror*

*concentrates on a height three inches taller than she is now*

*taps her head twice*

"Tirinum!"

*height doesn't change*

*frowns*

"Must not have concentrated hard enough."

star walks over to a mirror.... *concentrates on being about 4 inches taller...* "Tirinun..." *nothing happens... "wait its TirinuM not n" she mumbles to herself... "Tirinum" can tell she has grown... rather it was the right amount she is not sure...

(Frowns in front of the mirror, trying to imagine a height.)

Tirinum!

(He becomes shorter by three inches.)

'Mione picked a mirror and wispered the spell. she looked at her mirror.
( she was very short) but I thought about higher, she thought to herself.

*repeats the charm*

"Much better,"

*she's become the height she was imagining*

TIRIUN! she said again this time a little bit louder. she looked at the mirror. good she looked taller. like her normal self.

*concentrates and taps left shoulder three times*

"Tirinum!"

*becomes skinner*

tap her left shoulder 3 times. concentrated being a little more skinny than her normal self. Tirirun!

*frowns*

"Which should we tap first, Professor?"

Triinum! she looked at her mirror YES! just right! feeling reliefed she tryed the next step.

*follows the example set by the girl nearby*

"Tirinum!"

*becomes shorter and stouter*

Ok now the final spell of the day is to turn yourselves back and appear to everyone as you normally. Feel free to practice these spells in the common rooms and outside. *smiles*

Now then, Haniros is the reversal charm. Tap your head once, your right shoulder then your left imagine yourself as you normally are and recited Haniros once.

tap her head once then her right shoulder then left. Haniros! 'Mione shouted.( not so loud though!)

okay,bye Proffessor! see you on Monday!

*preforms the charm with success*

"Alright! Bye then, Professor!"

Haniros!

(He's now back to normal. To make sure, he squints at the mirror.)

Done. Goodbye, Professor.

(Leaves.)

*Taps head 3 times and concentrates on being 5 inches tall* Tirinum Yay! I got taller! *Concentrates on being skinnier and a slight muscle build. Taps left shoulder three times, and concentrates very hard* Tirinum

Professor Can I just keep the build and try to reverse the height? *tries to do what he just said.* Trinium Cool It worked..... :huh:
