Professor Rhian enters the classroom and walks up to her desk in front with her various papers and books. She smiles at the class and says 'Hello!' as she set up her stuff for the class. ooc: I wanna actually start with some more people in here. |

"We will of course do the next part of the list of spells, then I'd like to tackle the Reducio charm." Professor Rhian says to _crescent_blader_ as she see's KAZ depart. "Of course KAZ, goodbye." "On that note I guess we shall start." Professor Rhian then moves around the desks as she talks. "Hello class. Today we will be finding out the meaning of the spells I'm about to put up in a few moments. Does anyone have any questions for me at all?" She asks. |

Professor Rhian looks up at Nadia, "Well, there not charms persay but they kinda are. It's complicated and some people have different opinions on what is what." She says answering her first question, "Oh no dear. I'm not mad at all, you gave me very good homework Nadia." She says with a smile. "Now is there anything else class?" Professor Rhian asks looking around. |

Seeing no more hands in the air Professor Rhian walks up to the board. "Now, I will put of the next part of the various spells and I would like you all to do what you did with the others and try to figure them out." Turning around to right the spells. Professor Rhian walks around glancing students parchments, "Very good start GinnyHPfan." Then looking at Nadia's parchment," Thats very good Nadia, but are you sure you have Mobiliarbus right?." She asks. Then turning to Kawai, "Very well also dear, I see you still need some work." With a smile. |

*Looks at notes* My notes and Encyclophedia of Spells says the same I worte, professor :huh: It says it moves threes. 'Movili' is the prefix for "move" + 'arbol' which is three in Latin (and Spanish too ^_-)... yes, I think it should be move-three. |

Oh, of course. Figures :rolleyes: I still want to do some more spells, professor, and maybe some practicing of them ^^ So we know the wand movement and stuff... I for one would like to practice the Alohomora spell :rolleyes: |
Mobiliarbus - -Moves a tree. Mobilicorpus - Moves a body. Nox - means night in latin, -Turns off the light from a "Lumos" spell. Obliviate - Memory Charm -"oblivisci" - forget -Modifies or erases portions of a person's memory. Orchideous - -"Orchideae" - name for the orchid plant family -Conjures a bouquet of flowers out of the end of a wand. Peskipiksi Pesternomi – ???Freezing Charm by gilderoy... Petrificus Totalus - · -Petrification -"petrificare" - to make into stone, from "petra" - rock -Not a spell so much as a magical effect, caused by seeing the reflected eyes of a Basilisk. Point Me - four-point-spell, -A simple spell, performed with the wand laying flat on the open palm of the caster. When the words are spoken, the wand rotates to point north. Prior Incanto or Priori Incantatem - reverse spell -"prior"- former, earlier, preceeding + "incantatare" - to bewirtch or enchant -Can be cast as a spell, ("Prior Incantato"), in which case it forces a wand to emit a ghost image of the last spell it cast. The images can be dispelled using the Deletrius spell. -When two wands are forced to duel which have core material from the same single animal, the result will be "Priori Incantatem," a display in sequence of the last spells one of the wands cast. "Okay class." She said looking at the students, "That is right Ember Flame, but Mobilicorpus also creates strings so that could happen. For some of these spells they have more then one meaning, some you see might not be what you have like what Nadia said. So if you see that just tell me or ask and I'll be glad to clear that up." Professor Rhian said sitting on her desk as she leaned. "Now anymore questions before we start trying the Reducio spell?" |
*shooks her head..* "no more questions from me, professor..." she said still smiling... pulls out her wand...getting ready... |

Turning to Kawai, "Alright, off you go then. Goodbye." Professor Rhian says to her as she departs. "Okay maybe we should practise the Reducio charm now class." She says getting up and putting a pillow on her desk. "Now class I would like you all to take a pillow and practise this." Pointing to the pillow, "Reducio Pillow!" And with that the pillow shrunk down. "Remember to say, ray - DOO - see - oh class. Now begin!" She added. ooc: nighty Kawai doll, it is late. Maybe we can kinda go a bit faster or should I leave the class till tomorrow?! |

*Windraws wand.* "ray--DOO--see--oh... Reducio Pillow!" *Nothing happens* I'll have to practice it a little more I guess. Oh, professor, we did cover the Alohomora spell last term but we didn't got much practice and my Alohomoras are quite... lame, so I was expecting we could do a revision of those spells some times :rolleyes: *Nadia raises hand* I've a question, about the Mobilicorpus & Mobiliarbus; you said they were 'Hover Charms', like the Wingardium Leviosa, right? How many Hover Charms there are? Apart from the Mobili- charms and the Wingardium Leviosa, that is. |
*starts to concentrate then points her wand at the pilliow in fron of her... "ray-doo-see-oh!" the pilliow shrank only a bit... "have to practice more..." she thought... |
Points wand at pillow and says, "Ray DOO see oh!!" The pillow shrank, but not enough. "Oh, well, I'll have to practice a bit more." *mutters* |
*looks around the room, shrugged his shoulders and withdraw his wand* Re-DOO-see-oh... Re-DOO-see-oh... okay. *points wand towards the pillow, clears his throat* Reducio! *the pillow shuddered for a while and shrinked until it has the size of a strawberry* Ooppsss.... |
"Ray - DOO - see - oh, Ray - DOO - see -oh.." she mutters to herself. *points wand ant the pillow* "Reducio!" The pillow shakes a bit then shrinks only a little bit.. "Hm... still nedd more practice at that." |
*Mike grabs a pillow and begins. He takes out his wand.* "Re-DOO-see-oh!" he says as he flicks his wand. *Nothing happened." "Hmm, I think I should try it again." he says "Re-DOO-see-oh!" *The pillow shrinks ever so slightly.* "That's good enough. It needs more practice." he thinks to himself |
(Grabs a pillow, takes out his wand, and pauses.) Reducio! (Nothing the first time. Frowning, he tries again.) Reducio! (The pillow seems to dissapear. On closer investigation, though, it's shrunk down to the size of a grain of rice.) |

"Reducio" The pillow rapidly shrinks to the size of a plump grape. Perfect, third times the charm. :lol: |
Professor Rhian looks around the class happy with the amount of practising and students doing well. "Very good class." She says with a smile. Turning to Nadia she says,"I see dear, well those are the only ones. Wingardium Leviosa is quite different though, and seems to be used more. But those are the only ones." The Professor then goes to the front of the class, "Is there anymore questions? Or does anyone need help?" She asks. |
Grabs a pillow and pulls out her wand. she then says, "Reducio". The pillow shinks the size of an eraser, " good enough for me" |
(Grabs a pillow) Reducio! (Looks at the pillow the size of a pea) (Raises hand) Proffessor, I don't think I did that correctly, did I? |
"Well your getting there dear." Professor Rhian said to the young girl. Now moving to the front of the class she says, "Well for you who need help still I suggest you practise more and work on it for the class is now finishing." Looking around as the students started putting their things away Professor Rhian spoke, "For homework I would like for you to show me your creative side. And with that I'd like you all to come up with your own spell or charm persay, I want to know what it does and why you think it's needed. Alright class? Now it'll be due by next class! Good day!" And with that she waved goodbye to the students and walked out carrying her various papers and books. |
