Covadium goblet turns to a quill as she takes quick notes on the lesson so far Baltenis It turns back to a goblet. she thinks hard but gets nowhere could you turn objects into owls for owl post |
"Well, if the supermarket is not open and we want to cook chicken, we can just turn a notebook into a chicken." |
Maybe if you were being attacked by one animal you could turn something into another animal to protect you? Could you do that professor? |
Sunstar, yes you can reuse this spell on any object as often as needed. Be warned though that the Professors have ways of checking on items to be sure they aren't against school rules. Such as using it to disguise note passing during classes. smiles Vicky, no dear. The Trengaris spell is not a long lasting one. The ideal use for it would be for teaching. Say someone is thinking of a certain animal they would like to purchase and needs to describe it to the clerk in Magical Menagerie or for this class here. If you forgot your animal you could transfigure a temporary one for use in class. Or in the common rooms or Library to work on your homework. Sarah, possibly but there are other spells quite useful for protection. This spell is mainly for transfiguring objects into small animals. 2 points for each of you that answered. |
Smiles thank you professor |
a spell for the forgetfull, sound like my kinda spell  |
Professor do we use the Baltenis spell to undo this spell as well.. askes sarah as the book that is now a fish flops around on her desk |
"Did I get 2 points too professor?" |
Now then. If you have all completed the Baltenis Spell and turned your object back to its original form, we will use it to practice the Trengaris Spell. Pay very close attention to this spell. The spell lasts only an hour but do take care to treat your newly transformed animal with care. The wand movements are: swish down, tap twice and flick. The incantation is Trengarium. Concentrate on what animal you want. Animals should be no bigger than small creatures such as otters, or birds and you should really start out with animals like mice, rats, toads and the like. |
*thinks* "that spell is a hard one, Professor!" |
Sarah, please don't skip ahead in the chapters. Stay with the class. transfigures her fish back into a notebook. Yes vicky dear, you recieved two points. As did sunstar and sarah for answering. |
swishes her wand downward, tape the goble twice and flicks her wand and concentrating on hamsters says Trengarium a small chinese dwarf hamster appears on the table how cute, look up, thankyou miss |
Quickly Sarah turns a piece of parchment into a water goblet ... *Professor can I change this back or should I watch for when it changes back to get my book out of the water?* asks Sarah with the fish in her hands ready to drop it in the water. |
concentrates on a frog and does the movements:swish down, tap twice, and flick then says Trengarium. the quill turns into a frog. yay i did it! |
"hmmm.." *swish down and flick* "oops" *trys again* *swish down, tap twice, flick* "Trengarium" *turns it into a robin * |
Oh sorry Sarah. Start with your original object. Very good Miss Watson, sunstar. walks around to check on class's progress |
Professor Can we play with the creatures ? |
Concentrate, concentrate...I need a frog, a small cute frog.... "Ok...one, two....Trengarium!" *the notebook turned into a frog which jumped on her hair* "OMG!Take this thing off me!" |
This is easy. thinks about a mouse and swishes down, then taps quilltwice and says Trengarium. *quill turns into a white mouse* easy as pie. |
Levitates frog off Vicky's head. Calm down dear. And yes Miss sunstar, you may play with them while the class catches up. |
