Professor Rae enters the classroom and takes a look around. She is very disappointed by the low attendance and lack of homework from her students, but she has high hopes that her guest will bring some enthusiasm to the class. She settles behind her desk and waits... for her students and for her guest.

She speaks quickly, as not to anger the Professor. "I was being reprimending. I merly meant it'd be a bit nicer to think about the questions before blurting it out. There are some people that enjoy the experience, but tact always is helpful around people you aren't well aquainted with. Especially because werewolves get so much dirt piled on them for their 'dangerous' status."

Also, that classification refers only to the person when they ARE a werewolf, not all the time.

The potion lets you only take the form of a werewolf, allowing you to keep your sanity and control of your actions as well as thoughts. Without the potion, a person bitten by a werewolf would turn into an full-wolf, fangs, anger and lust for blood completely intact.

I believe that's called the wolfsbane potion- it needs to be taken for several days straight before the full moon.

Yes, I've heard of it as well, Jessie. There's no cure for the, err, disease of being a Werewolf but there's the Wolfsbane Potion which is a recent invension and should relieve some of the most harmful aspects of the werewolves. Still it doesn't help them go berserk when finding human beings, I've been told. (Its name is due to its main ingredient, the Wolfsbane, also known as aconite or monkshood)

There have been some Potions breakthroughs, as many of you have pointed out. Perhaps Professor Sebastian could speak more to that...? When there's full moon, once every month, of course, the affected wizard or muggle will transform into a killing beast, no matter how much self-control they would have in normal circumstances. Is practically the only beast which uses its every energy into haunting down humans beings, for they are its favourite pray.

I thought the Wolfsbane Potion gave a person full control over their emotions in werewolf state.

The great Professor Lupin, in his days as a student, couldn't control himself because the potion was not discovered yet. Only in as a professor could he pose no threat.

May I ask, Monsenious Jerome - do you feel any different while we are under the effect of the potion? Like, feeling more docile? Can you remember anything while on the Werewolf state? *looks interested*
