Professor Rae rushed into her classroom a few minutes late and breathed a sigh of relief that it was still empty. She unpacked her bag, pulling out a variety of objects and placing them in her desk. She paused as she pulled out a small round object, then tucked it into the desk as well. Finally, ready to go, the professor settled into her chair to await her students. She absently fiddled with her left ring finger. She hoped many students showed up this week. |

Walks into the classroom closing it after him* Hey Proffessor and Tidus how's it going *Sits near the front* |
-=He entered the DADA classroom and sat in the center row. He waved at the Professor before finally settling in.=- Hello, Professor Rae. What are we gonna be learning about today? -=He then took his wand out of his pocket and began extracting from his bag a quill and parchment.=- |
*walks in and sits down. Then takes out wand, quill, paper, etc.* "Hello Professor!" |
Professor Rae smiles at her students and returns their greetings. "Let's wait just a bit longer for more students, and then we can begin. I have a very important announcement to make." |
~Raven walsk into the classroom smiles and skips toward her desk. Sits down grab thy wand and thy quill and looks at the professor~ |

*Carolina walks in carrying her bag, and sits down on the middle row. She pulls out her things and looks around room, waiting* |
waves back and moves up next to her, still shrowded in shadows a bit. he smiled and watched intently at the front of the room. |

"Welcome to the third DADA class of the term. I'm really thrilled that you all are following the rules so closely and respecting each other in the class. Its refreshing... I hope I can reward you all for your behavior during the course of the class." "Now, before we get into the lesson, I'd like to make an announcement. Instead of the usual end-of-term exam, I have decided to offer an alternative... a report on any DADA subject of your choosing. I know you all have a variety of interests, and I also know I will be unable to get to every subject that interests you. This is my concession. In addition, I will allow you to work with a partner on this, as long as it is clear which two people are turning in the project. Of course, due date and length are to come. Please do not talk about who your partner could be now... you'll have time later. Are there any questions pertaining to the end-of-term report at this time?" |
"No professor." he says looking thrilled. No exam, but a simple essay. and a partner. this could work... |
*Carolina beams and replies* "No Professor, and Thank you" |

Professor Rae smiled. "Don't thank me yet. You don't even know how long I'll want it. Or even whether or not I'll be grading them harshly. But I'm happy you approve. Now, can we move on?" |
"Yes." |
*Carolina nodded quiety, smiling* |
"Good... now for those of you who are observant, you'll have noticed that today's lesson is on Dark Witches and Wizards. In grading your first homework assignment, it became very apparent to me that many of you were interested in learning about famous Dark witches and wizards, as well as in learning why someone would be become enamored of the Dark Arts in the first place." "Let's start with the basics. Who are the most famous Dark Wizards of the 20th century?" |
