Professor Rhian nods at Morningembers answer as she goes up to her class. "Now class let us continue. We shall be practicing the spell Reparo, I thought it would be a handy spells for most of you to learn. Now get out your wands and I have broken things here in the box by my desk." She points to the edge of he desk to the box. "Now take something and begin!" Professor Rhian then takes a seat behind her desk as she watches the students.

Mrs. Weasley walks up to the box and takes out several pieces of broken glass. She takes them back to her desk and takes out her wand. Pointing her wand at the pieces of glass, she says, glas reparo. The glass shakes a little, but it does not repair itself. Not knowing what went wrong, Mrs. Weasley just stares at the glass. She, then, points her wand at the shards of glass and says goblet reparo. The glass transforms into a crystal goblet. You must have to know what the glass was originally to be able to repair it, she thinks to herself.

*teh Glasses are repaired and look like they were just made.*
Professor, do you have to say what you are repairing before the Reparo part of the spell?
*Waits patiently and decides to get another ruined, broken item from the box. Chooses some kind of powder that feels chalk-like.*

*The powder becomes chalk sticks before they were crushed... Students around him are ammazed*

Concerning "Serpentsortia," can you create a larger snake by perfecting the charm, or does the snake stay the same no matter how talented you are? I'd really like a latge boa some day...

Greta frowns at the broken plate in front of her, then taps it with her wand and says, "Reparo!" The broken pieces come together sluggishly.
"Got to do better than that!," she thinks.
She gets a chipped teacup, and tries the spell on that. This time is works well, and she smiles.
She raises her hand. "Professor, could this spell be used to mend just anything? Could we mend broken up parchment with it, for instance?"

I have a question too. Is there a certain limit to the spell's power? For example, would it be possible to repair a worn rug or bed with it, or does it only work on broken objects, and not ones that were worn down with use?

About half of the glass reassembles itself.
"Hmm... maybe again"
"Re-PAR-oh glass," she says again pointni her wand at the glass.
The other half of the glass reassembles itself along with the other pieces making the glass look brand new.

It would also be nice knowing how much the spell would last or if the repearing is permanent. You don't want to sleep in a Repar-ed bed which would turn to being broken once you got asleep

ooc: Ahhhh sorry I forgot about it again! And someone PMed me too! Bleh =/ Sorry guys. I'm just gonna end the class before I really forget it, my mind has been elsewhere sorry guys.
Professor Rhian walked around as she asnwered the students questions and helped them out. After enough practise class was over. "Well, I hope you all have had enough practise. Class is over now so please don't forget to put away the pieces of items back in the box." She said as they each began packing up and putting away their items from the box. "For homework I liked how your minds were creative with your last assignment so I want you to be creative again. I want you to give my a chant for a spell like the famous muggle one, 'Boil boil, toil and trouble...'" The professor told them as they walked out. "Have a nice day now!" She said as the last student left.
Professor Rhian packed her things and walked out closing the classroom door behind her. | |
