| | Slytherin Table For those who belong in Slytherin House, on the right side of the Great Hall is where your table awaits. Green banners containing an embroidered silver snake float above the polished table in honour of the cunning Salazar Slytherin. Already placed on the tables are silver plates with accompanying cutlery and goblets. All that is missing right now are the mountains of food and pitchers containing your favourite beverages.
Though your stomach might be growing as you take a seat on one of the long benches next to the table, it is important to not get hangry -- gnawing your arm away or jabbing your fork repeatedly on the surface of the table will do no good whatsoever. Give everyone some time to get settled in and wait for Headmistress Hawthorne to deliver her speech. Keep yourself preoccupied by catching up with your fellow housemates or those who are visiting from the other tables until it is time to sink your teeth into the hearty and delicious meal prepared by the house-elves.

The train ride toward the castle had been long and boring, not least due to the fact that Felicity had elected, or rather, tried to spend the journey alone - Skylar had made that difficult, but at least she hadn’t pressured her to talk. After everything that had happened the previous summer, the slightest word from her friend was sure to get under her skin, even if Felicity’s emotions weren’t particularly rational; Skylar hadn’t done anything wrong, after all.
But what was it Flynn had said, right before he’d dumped her?
Oh yeah, Felicity Harrington was the Queen of Being Irrational.
Or at least words to that effect.
And after the year she’d had, who could blame her for her insecurities? Junia didn’t. Hell, Junia shared some of them, never judged her and that was part of the reason they’d become so close. If there was anyone she’d wanted to spend a quiet train ride with it would be her, but after spending time with them over summer Felicity was pretty sure that the Botros family was tired of having her around.
After the train, she’d slipped into a carriage with a few third years she didn’t know, perfectly timed to be one of the first people into the Great Hall and to therefore claim at seat at the end of the table near the doors. This was the perfect spot: not only did it mean she could be one of the first out of the room and down to her dormitory when the feast was over, but she also had a great view of everyone coming into the room. And that was Felicity’s entertainment for tonight, she decided, resting her elbow on the table and her chin in her palm, people watching. Or, more specifically, attractive people watching - she needed to be distracted, otherwise she knew her eyes would be drawn to Flynn, and she wasn’t quite sure she was ready to deal with the emotions for her ex-boyfriend just yet.

| Hi Slytherin babies <3 elephant-astic•wanderlust•stay in the ninedaaays the original Taco Belle•look at the flowers✿ 1. Feeling bad about not being badged for the last time
2. Riding up to the castle for the last time
3. Arriving for her last start-of-term feast
The list would just keep growing, she knew, but having one helped keep her in the moment. She needed that, especially with so many things outside the walls of this castle weighing heavy on her mind. Focusing on seventh year was what she was supposed to do. Being selfish was, or so Samuel had said. So she would try. She was trying. She was.
Pulling the long plait she was wearing over her shoulder, the seventeen year old gave the hall a cursory glance, but there was no sign of her younger siblings or cousin just yet. The younger two had probably met up with friends, discussing summer adventures over sweets. Abey, well, he was probably trying on his role as captain for size. She hoped he wasn't overthinking it too much and that if he was, he knew to find her after this... because he probably, for the first time in forever, wouldn't be sitting with her. Apparently she wouldn't get a last time for that. It was something she didn't even know she'd been counting on. "Felicity." There was relief in her voice, the sight of her friend putting her at ease. She didn't need to pretend she had any idea how to handle all this...stuff, not now, and that felt better than she could explain. "Hey. I'm really glad you're here." The brunette slipped in to the seat beside her fellow seventh year and rested her head on her shoulder momentarily. "It's only just started and I'm already exhausted. How is that even possible? I think all this acting I've been doing recently has made me more dramatic. Do you think I'm more dramatic?"

| Yay, Hamlet! • Cathopper • Disney Fanatic • I was normal once... Flynn had debated not attending his last first feast and going straight to the common room, but he knew Professor Vance would hunt him down if he had done that. He was not in the mood after the quarrel in the Prefects' Compartment with a certain someone who thought he was all that and a bottle of fire whiskey just because he got a badge this year. He did not care what that certain someone asked.... demanded.... requested of him because Kowalski had seniority in the leadership department, and he only took orders from Vivian. He sometimes took orders from Vivian when he felt like it.
He strutted into the Great Hall with a displeased look upon his face. His dark eyes glanced over at his house table to see who was already here.
Junia.... Gravestone..... Felicity. His heart ached some when his eyes landed on his ex-girlfriend, but he did not look for long to save himself the pain. They had broken up for a reason, and he had to remind himself of that. She was better off in a world where she did not feel insecure or have major trust issues, and he - well, he needed to sort out his messy life.
Not to mention: he was over emotionally destroying himself over a relationship. He was better than that.
Also, not to mention: he still cared about her.
.... bloody hell, was his life ever not going to be a mess? Why was life so messy anyways? Why couldn't he go back to being the person that didn't care about a single thing? Back to the person he was BEFORE Felicity Harrington?
SOS because he wanted to rip his slowly-warming heart from his chest and burn it.
He moved by all three girls and took a seat in the middle of the table. He rested his left elbow on the tabletop and leaned his head against the palm of his hand.
Hurry up, Headmistress. He was ready to dine and ditch this place.

Lydia was a bit intimidated by how many older students there were at the Slytherin table. Surely none of them wanted to talk to an ickle firstie like her. Then Lydia spotted a younger girl, probably around her own age, staring at the table in confusion. That was when Lydia noticed it too. Where was the food? She was starving!
" Um, shouldn't the food be here already? What's taking so long?" she said, just loud enough for the girl sitting near her to hear.
With a bit of a start, Lydia realized her own plain black robes had been trimmed in green. Green had never been her favorite color, but she couldn't help but admire how nice it looked with the black. Yes, maybe this Slytherin thing wouldn't be so bad. She would make it work!

The gaunt faced and silver blood stained robed spectre known to all Hogwarts students as the Bloody Baron silently floated into the Great Hall. His rattling chains was the only thing that announced his arrival. As the Bloody Baron floated up to the Slytherin table, he sheathed his sword and gave his curly powdered wig a pat before he turned his black staring eyes at the presently seated students at the table as he greeted in a hoarse whisper. "Good evening all snakes, welcome to a new year at Hogwarts!"

Eyes scanning the room came to a halt when she heard her name, and Felicity smiled at the more than recognisable voice. “Junia,” she said, her eyes lighting on her friend and her mouth curving into a grin. “I’m glad to see you, too.” Her arm slipped from the table as the other seventh year joined her, her own head tilting slightly towards Junia as she leant on her shoulder. She was so lucky that she was able to do that, lean on her - both literally and figuratively. It was probably going to be the reason she would survive her exams.
Which she wasn’t going to think about, right now. Luckily, Junia was proving an excellent distraction. Felicity giggled. “You’re just as dramatic as ever. The tiredness is probably an age thing.” Or the fact that feeling inferior was a pretty draining emotion, which Felicity understood better than most, and which she hated that Junia, wonderful, intelligent, beautiful Junia had to feel.
Speaking of drama, Felicity cast her eyes skyward at the perfect moment to miss the arrival of a first year and to catch that of him. Biting her lip to stop herself from blushing, Felicity dragged her gaze back to Junia quickly, desperate not to dwell on the feeling of being pulled in his direction. It was almost physical, and the ache that spread throughout her chest was something she’d hoped she’d be strong enough not to completely succumb to. Swallowing hard, she shook her hair out of her face: no crying, no staring and absolutely no wishing he was next to her. That roller coaster was officially out of order, and, after all, it was for the better.
And maybe he was part of the reason she ignored the first year panicking over no food - Flynn was a prefect, and she wasn’t. That was his job to deal with.

"Good evening all snakes, welcome to a new year at Hogwarts!" Patrick casually strolled into the Great Hall. He couldn’t believe he was actually a Third year already. How had he already hit three years at Hogwarts? Glancing around he noticed the scared faces of the little first years, he remembered being in their shoes, freaking out. He was trying to spot some of his friends but hadn’t found any of them yet. The train ride had been uneventful too, he had snoozed the whole way.
Plopping down at the table with a loud stomach growl, where was the food. He had walked so slow he figured he would have gotten to eat right away. All he wanted was food, He could really go for some fried chicken, but no one made it like mamaw Dooley. He missed that already.
Whipping his head up at the sound of a voice, he realized the Bloody Baron was greeting the other Slytherin students. “Hello Sir, how was your summer?” Patrick had finally gotten used to the whole ghost thing at school and was no longer weirded out by them. gurgle, gurgle, growl
Looking down at his angry stomach Patrick really wished the Headmistress would say her speech and let the students eat. He really regretted not eating on the train.

Yes, maybe this Slytherin thing wouldn't be so bad. She would make it work! It wasn’t really the food that Beth wanted, but simply a glass of water. Maybe that would quench her nerves as she looked around at the other students and those she had ridden on the train with…hmm, it seemed that Quin wouldn’t be alone after all. Both corny and Oli were with her – she did feel sorry though, when she saw how upset Reese looked.
That boy needed a hug. – he also was in the dorm next to the kitchens…soooooooo maybe that could have a use? She wondered for a moment before a voice broke her from her reverie. Beth gave the other first year a shrug before turning her head toward Flynn and contemplating bugging him.
Nah, he looked busy ignoring people – and she had said she would help. ”its…from what my mum told me the feast only starts truly, after e v e r y o n e’s been sorted…and after a blithering speech from someone up there but m’not sure?” she looked up at Lydia for a moment and gave her a kind smile, ”nice to meet you…I’m Beth – just Beth despite what they said at the ceremony” she explained in an almost anxious tone.
Oh.
Great.
There was a ghost.
Beth simply looked up at the hoarse voice ghost for a moment and then turned her attention back to Lydia in a whisper she asked, ”is it just me or is he wearing a wig?” So…that was interesting – ”and if you want I can ask my…uh…acquaintance about the food situation see how long is should be?” she asked before adding, ”I already sort of met out prefect over summer…” then with a thought she added, ”best stay clear of him…looked like he was having a rough go on the train today” it wasn’t exactly a lie because…well, look at him he didn’t look exactly welcoming right now.

Her first day with a new badge was off to an interesting, if not annoying, start. The little lovers' quarrel between Coleslaw and Ronan was just the beginning of what seemed like more of their verbal exchanges for this term, their final year. On top of that, she still had to make sure Coleslaw didn't blow anything up during any of his patrolling duties. Maybe spending an hour or two with him wouldn't be as disastrous as him and her co-head together. Would they even last five minutes?
Vivian arrived a little later than the rest, opting to help a couple of hyper first years off the train... and even that simple task seemed draining. She'd done so since her fifth year. Still tiring, and she wanted food. Once she entered the hall, it made her a wee bit annoyed that the speech didn't happen yet. But on a happier note, she had arrived for her sister's sorting and when the Hat yelled for Slytherin, the blond almost sighed in relief.
Even more reasons to prank Aunt Elise, huh? She did know her Aunt had a particular disfavour for the lions.
"Good evening, guys," Vivian greeted the people in general. There were too many around but she did manage to smile towards Patrick, then Felicity and Junia. Last year to share their dorm? It was not something Vivian would forget so easily. "Good evening, sir Baron." Bloody as ever, wasn't he?
... And she'd probably best leave Coleslaw to his thoughts. They could talk about those patrolling and Ronan issues later. Nevertheless, she offered an acknowledging smile for her co-prefect.
Right, first years! Might as well do that thing she was obliged to do. "Hello, you two. Welcome to Slytherin!" Vivian said towards the first years, one of which was (Anabeth) named Greyson? Gravestone? Something like that. And the other one (Lydia), whose name escaped her. Home of the Champions.

| elephant-astic•wanderlust•stay in the ninedaaays the original Taco Belle•look at the flowers✿ New baby snakes had been noticed, though Junia was too distracted by the arrival of Flynn to offer words of welcome. Instead she offered the girls a smile and glanced from the prefect to Felicity and back again. He got a small smile, too. Mostly because talking to him on the train had made her realize he was human and actually had some feelings beneath that uncaring exterior. Go figure. He knew she was looking after her friend, yes? Just like she said she would. "I think you just called me old, which I'm going to take as a compliment considering most people in our grade are older than me." Save for fellow she-snakes, that is. She watched her friend for a moment, seeing the way she reacted to Flynn, knowing how hard this was for her. If she had to see Sam every day and not be with him, she'd be feeling that, too. Heck, she felt it now and she didn't have to see him every day. This whole being single thing wasn't her cup of tea. "We'll look after each other this term, yeah? We're going to be good. Maybe even great. You'll see." The positivity thing was mostly for Felicity's sake, but Junia was trying. Ast would be proud. "Hello," Junia offered in greeting to the others who'd joined them, Vivian receiving a wider and more genuine smile than the rest. She was going to be a good head girl and at some point Junia would tell her so, just not now. She needed to process and get over herself first...

| FLYNN! && also anyone else. hiii. Dani's Citrus Duck Spawn | Mama Giraffe | Lemon PATch | Pushed the Red Button The only thing Annaliese liked about Slytherin thus far was that the table had burst out in boisterous applause during her sorting. And, despite not being her first choice of housemates, if these folks could keep up the special treatment...
Well, she supposed she could grace them with her presence.
Her hair still felt natty from contact with the grubby hat, so Leecey immediately ruled out sitting with other first years. They were loud and irksome, and that one kid had splashed tomato soup everywhere! She wasn't doing ruined hair AND robes on the same night, thanks.
Instead, she found herself gravitating toward a mopey older boy surrounded by a convenient radius of empty space. Perhaps it was the tall frame that reminded her somewhat of her protective brother, or maybe it was the shiny badge that screamed authority. Whatever the deciding factor, the blonde had made up her mind: she was eating by him today. "Hello. I'm Annaliese." Two tiny legs took up a spot on the bench beside the Prefect, far from touching the ground. "Are you sad because we have to sleep near rats? Don't dungeons have those?"
Her wide eyes were all innocent sincerety, but they were going to fast fill with tears if she learned that she was living with RODENTS.

| ANNALIESE! (+ mention of Bloody Baron) Yay, Hamlet! • Cathopper • Disney Fanatic • I was normal once... Flynn had been minding his own business, per usual, when he heard an unfamiliar voice from a close distance. He turned his head to face the blonde girl, his attention drawing past her and towards the long row of empty seats to her right, then his attention went to all the empty seats to his left. This only left one question floating in his head: out of all the empty seats at the table, all of which were a good distance from him, she had to sit right by him?
His dark eyes flickered back over to the first year, whose name he had already forgotten. Mainly because he had not been paying an ounce of attention to her until she mentioned rats. He studied her face, ignoring her big innocent eyes, as he thought of the best answer to give her. Hopefully one that would send her away crying. "Did you not know?" He finally responded with a straight face, putting his perfect acting skills to good work. "The dungeons are filled with rats." He paused then added, "Big ones. I've been here long enough that they don't bother me, but when I was a first year, I got attacked by one in the middle of the night. Best sleep with one eye open, kid."
He looked away from her now as the Bloody Baron appeared. "Sup, Bloody?" This is how he's been welcoming the ghost since his first year. Some things never change.

He was late, again. Nathan had already formed an excuse if one asked about his whereabouts. Eh, he was just going to blame it on a bad stomachache that needed to be addressed urgently. In truth, he was taking his time loitering about in the hallways, before making his way back to the hall. He probably going to risk getting himself in detention by Professor Vance ....but it wasn't the first time he was let off by a warning. Heh.
Nathan quickly chose a seat close to the end of the table. His housemates were already bustling with topics he couldn't care less about. Please don't talk to him about OWLS results. He barely passed last term...but he managed to score an 'O' for Charms and DADA. His best subjects so far. Nathan looked around the table for new faces to see. Huh. Look at that, another Fairfield sorted into his mighty house. Hoo-rah.
Not to forget the bloody baron's constant rattling of his chains. He wishes he could put a silencing charm around him. The things he had to deal with in school...

Looking down at his angry stomach Patrick really wished the Headmistress would say her speech and let the students eat. He really regretted not eating on the train. The Bloody Baron was letting his eyes black eyes sweep around the Great Hall in search of the most beautiful grey lady and much more reluctantly Peeves. That menacing poltergeist had been a right thorn in his behind all summer. If possible Peeves had grown even worse. She had sadly not made her arrival yet to the eagles, but neither had that unwelcome geist.
Hearing someone say 'Sir' his bloodiness turned his head to look at the young Dooley boy. Eyeing him up, he noted in his usual hoarse tones. "Good evening Patrick, I see you’ve grown a couple of inches over the summer." The Baron took a breath and then grumbled. " "I've done the usual. Chased Peeves out of places he has no buiseness being in." Quote:

Floating sideways to hover in front of the first year duo his bloodiness unknowlingly leaned forward with his staring black eyes and gaunt face towards Annabeth as he asked hoarsely, but not rudely. "Are you related to Miss Imogen that taught here?" Quote:

"Good evening Vivian, congratulations to the new appointment!" Quote:

He looked away from her now as the Bloody Baron appeared. "Sup, Bloody?" This is how he's been welcoming the ghost since his first year. Some things never change. His bloodiness had heard parts of prefect Kowalski’s exchange with the newly sorted Toussaint girl. He was trying to scare the girl into believing the dungeons were filled with big rats. He disapproved quite strongly and showed that in his stare and tone as he greeted the seventh year "Good evening prefect Flynn." He heard the whispers among the staff about his actions over the summer. Quote:

His bloodiness saw the boy, slip into a seat near the end of the table. Late as usual. Floating over to the end of the table to hover near the boy he grumbled "What is your excuse for being late to the feast this time Nathan?" What shall he tell Ms Vance, hmm?

| HOLISTIC ACTRESS {X O} EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED Beth was looking around at the tables again when Vivian welcomed them to the table. ”Thank you…,” she smiled over to her, before taking a moment she and deciding to say her name to her and properly introduce herself. ”Its…nice to meet you, Miss…Headgirl? Right? I’m Beth, Beth Greyvson” she smiled and then very nearly cried out in shock when Annaliese…sat next to Flynn. SHE HAD FAILED…F A I L E D this day was done still STILL she did want to know what was going on over there. She was midst looking over when he or it showed up…well, floated more like.
Was she related to Miss Imogen? Beth’s little heart thrilled at the idea of hearing stories about her mother BUT, she calmed it for a moment and gave the ghost a somewhat cool debonair grin, complete with what would likely come to be known as her iconic head-tilt. ”Miss Imogen?...yes, she is my mother…myself and – and I have a fraternal twin Cordelia…but, she decided to go to Beauxbaton instead the traitor” the last section wasn’t really meant to be overheard…yes, she felt slightly betrayed by Cordelia but more so by the hat. It hadn’t put Quinnlin with her.
Glancing around she decided to give talking to the Barron another go. ”it’s a pleasure to meet you – Sir, I’m Anabeth Greyvson – please, call me Beth…” she paused for a second ”would you mind if instead of calling you the Bloody Baron I say…something more regal? Like your Bloodliness?” she asked almost excitedly.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Addison Ayers First Year | Open, mentions of a few <3 Kye arrived in the Great Hall waving at familiar faces. It was her last Start of Term Feast! It would be a year of this kind of thinking... before University next year anyway. She found a spot at the Slytherin table and smiled gleefully at those she had missed on the train. "Is that the Head Girl I see??" she mused, spotting Vivi. "Good evening, Sir Baron! Ready for another year?"
A few scattered "Hey"s and "Hello"s to Junia, Patrick, Nathan, and others she was a little familiar with, as well as their new firsties. She had so much energy! She would need to basically eat her weight in dinner so she could go to sleep tonight. |

Nathan lifted his eyebrow in acknowledgment at the older girl (Kye). Jumping beansprouts, he has forgotten her name. But used to think that she was quite attractive. Anyhuu....
Urgh.
Nathan couldn't help but scoot a little away from the bloody baron. Every time the ghost came near him, he felt cold chills down his spine. His personal space was being interrupted yet again and honestly, he was not in the mood to be bothered right now. Also, why was every/thing/ and everyone tend to stick their noses up his business? He had done nothing to upset anyone. Well...there was one in particular. A certain Head Girl who probably like the idea of him getting kicked out from Quidditch try-outs. Yes, Vivian Fairfield. He was glancing suspiciously at you.
He kept a straight face back at the baron, "I was in the boys room, taking care of business." What? He wasn't embarrassed to say it. Nathan felt that he was being scrutinized by the Slytherin ghost, too bloody often. He needed to stop.
And what did this girl, Beth, say? "Your bloodliness?" HAHA! Now that was hilarious! Nathan quickly stifled his laughter.

""I've done the usual. Chased Peeves out of places he has no buiseness being in." His cheeks tinted a deep shade of red, he had grown a few inches over the summer, twice. It was like he was the runt of the family in the most literal sense until this summer. His mama complained because he was now standing at about 5 feet 6 inches. His mama expected him to hit six feet by the end of the term. He wasn’t sure where he’d find the other six inches this year. “Why thank you Sir, I did. My mother was certain I’d hurt myself if I grew anymore.”
He listened to the Baron grumble about Peeves. Patrick understood, he had disliked Peeves since he was a first year and he was invited to their class for dodgeball. He strongly disliked him. “Hopefully one day he’ll simmer down, but that doesn’t sound likely. Quote:

He waved down the table with a smile, and gave a soft “hello” back.

Beth simply looked up at the hoarse voice ghost for a moment and then turned her attention back to Lydia in a whisper she asked, [i]”is it just me or is he wearing a wig?”[/b] So…that was interesting – ”and if you want I can ask my…uh…acquaintance about the food situation see how long is should be?” she asked before adding, ”I already sort of met out prefect over summer…” then with a thought she added, ”best stay clear of him…looked like he was having a rough go on the train today” it wasn’t exactly a lie because…well, look at him he didn’t look exactly welcoming right now. " I'm Lydia. Pleased to meet you," said Lydia. She smiled at the other first-year. Meanwhile, her stomach grumbled unhappily. " The Sorting's nearly over. I hope they get that speech over with soon."
Suddenly, a cold waft of air seemed to pass right by her. Lydia turned and almost fell off the bench in shock. There was a real live (ok, maybe live wasn't the best description) ghost floating at the table! And it didn't seem to be just any ghost either. This had to be the most intimidating ghost around, with his grim expression, and was that blood on his doublet? It was hard to tell with how shiny and silvery he was.
Lydia heard Beth call the ghost " his bloodiness." That was an interesting title. Summoning her courage, Lydia nodded politely to the ghost. " Hello, your bloodiness. My name is Lydia Beckett. It's nice to meet you. I..I like your wig."
With a great effort, Lydia tore her eyes away from the startling presence of the ghost and turned toward the older boy sitting not far away. He did indeed have a rather grumpy expression on his face. " That's our prefect?" said Lydia. " He looks...pleasant."
It was probably a good idea to introduce herself to her new house's prefect, but the older boy definitely did not look like he was in the greatest of moods. Lydia wondered if something had happened to him on the train. She knew that the prefects had their own compartment. Apparently some sort of drama had gone down. Lydia shook her head. She would not let things like that stand in the way of her success here at Hogwarts.
Before Lydia could make up her mind about introducing herself to the prefect, an older girl spoke to her and Beth. Lydia turned toward the girl and was startled to notice the Head Girl badge on her robes. This was even better! The Head Girl was from Slytherin? Lydia felt a swelling of pride. That would be her someday, she just knew it.
" Hello, my name is Lydia. Thank you. This is all really overwhelming, but I'm proud to be a Slytherin."

Leecey's big green eyes glanced away from the boy to focus on the ghost passing by, stinging just a tad. Rat attacks?! In middle of the night? Her siblings hadn't mentioned any of this, but Katy was fearless, and Bast had only been here for a term. Of course they wouldn't mind.
But she REFUSED to cry. At least not until she was alone in her dorm. Digging her nails into her palms to keep the waterworks at bay, Annaliese began brainstorming ways to defend herself. Could she charm an older student into casting a shield around her bed? Get Al to spend the night and put those budding combat skills to use? Hmm. "Would you report me if I hid cheese in my dormmates' beds?" Just wondering.
In a rat-infested world, it was every princess for herself. No exceptions.

"Hello, my name is Lydia. Thank you. This is all really overwhelming, but I'm proud to be a Slytherin." Before Beth could even respond to Lydia the food…was just there, well maybe just there was the wrong term. She hadn’t exactly been paying attention to the Dias as the headmistress spoke…she was just there, looking at all of her new housemates.
Turning toward Lyd—wait…was that guy laughing? Beth simply glanced back toward (Nathan) and gave him her best cool and uncaring smile. ”Yes, your bloodlines…regal no?” she asked her eyebrow arching as if asking him to claim otherwise.
Even if he was laughing now she still felt it was a nice name for the Baron of Blood. Her grin did grow when Lydia used the term as well – she liked this girl already even if well, she wouldn’t tell her all that yet. ”pleasure to meet you Lydia,” she smiled over to her and then watched in awe as she asked about the wig. ”…do you need to powder it still even as a Ghost?” she asked fully intrigued. Maybe, for all she knew he was stuck wearing whatever he wore when he died. Merlin, if that were the case she needed to make sure she died in something b e a u t i f u l…and maybe sparkly. ”I like that you used the name too Lydia, do you have any nicknames you…well, hate? So I can obviously underhandedly hex people that use them” and not so she could tell people to use it just to hex them.

Once seated, Vivian took a moment to scan the table for anything that was suspicious. And naturally, anything suspicious came from her co-prefect, so she first looked towards his general direction. A small smirk crept on her face when a first year sat by him. Not only was the sight of it amusing, but it also was quite alarming. She'd better watch out in case Coleslaw does send the girl crying on her first night at school.
As for the Bloody Baron, Vivian grinned at him. "Thank you, sir Baron," she said. And she'll try to keep her head up with pride the entire term. She will. She'd hate to let the entire house and staff down.
Miss Head Girl had a nice ring to it, the blond thought. She smiled at the first years, who now finally had names she could address them with. "It's nice to meet you too, Beth... and you as well, Lydia," Vivian replied. "My name's Vivian." You know, just in case. Oh, and that public announcement of being a proud Slytherin? That was cute. It was nice watching them while they were still young firsties. Wait until they reach their teenage years, though.
... And why was Nathan looking at her all suspiciously? There was nothing suspicious in this area. But no, she definitely did not forget their conversation during the summer. All Vivian did was wink in response to his stare, before her attention was caught by the familiar voice of Kye. Still, the Head Girl thing was still in the process of sinking in, so the blond sort of just blushed a teeny tiny bit. "Kyeeee!" She wanted hugs. Hello, dormie, we missed you!
Next thing she knew it, the Headmistress was already up the podium to deliver her speech. And FOOD happened. Thank Merlin, she was already starting to feel her stomach grumble.
