Image Credit: MuggleDinosaur Down the long corridor to the right of the Common Room are the girl's dorms. Torches hanging on the walls light the way, allowing you to clearly see the many portraits of Slytherin alumnus students that line the walls. It's suggested that you'd be careful with what you do or say here because the portraits don't just hang here for the decor.
There is a dorm for room for each of year of the house. Students, you will find many four-poster beds all draped with green silk hangings and the coverlets to be in green with large snake motifs on them. Silver lanterns hang from the ceiling and the walls of the dorms are decorated with Slytherin crests. If you lie awake at night it's possible to hear the lake water lapping against the windows.
Be aware this Dorm is for Slytherin GIRLS ONLY. Each room has a charm placed on it that will alert the Head of House on any presence of boys. Consider this your final warning. Any boys caught trying to get in here WILL face the wrath of Professor Vance.
OOC: Students are IC-ly assigned according to current roster and biographies with random Non playable characters names generated. If you see a character missing or mistakenly listed, please notify me. Any other objections to current room pairing, feel free to take it IC with Prof. Vance. | |

The utterly impenetrable Anabeth Greyvson was bored beyond measure. Really, truly beyond measure. There wasn’t a mathematical equation that could prove it, nor disprove it. She was simple bored.
So bored in fact that she was lying on the end of her bed, her head precariously dangling off of the mattress. Really, if anything happened she’d have to flop and flip and squirm her way off, or just tumble. Tumble into a heap and roll off of her very own trunk.
That was beside the point.
”I wanna go exploring,” she huffed, not looking at any of her dormmates. Really, the term had hardly started and she was already itching for an adventure….wasn’t that like, not on par with her chosen house? Maybe, but maybe she just wanted to form a little gang of babysnakes to take over the world.

First Year | hello :) Cats are too adorable ~ But fudge brownies are life.
Everything is new to Hanako Staton after arriving at Hogwarts. She is accustomed to changes but not a drastic change. Sure, she is enjoying the magical world but to her 11 year old eyes, everything looked complicated. She sure needs to step her game up and be mentally prepared for what is next.
She walked in the dorm rooms and gathered all of her stuff before flopping into the cozy bed. She looked around and stared at the girl that was 2 beds before her.
Is she perhaps a first year like her?
She is right. It does feel right to go explore.
This is her first time at Hogwarts and she has heard lots of stories about it from her dad. It's a pretty big school. Hana then sigh and utter under her breath "me too..." That reminds her, she did pack her camera with her. She can go take pictures and then send it to her mother.

Lydia was stuffed. Breakfast in the Great Hall had been amazing as usual, and now she had the whole day to do whatever she wanted. It was finally the weekend! No classes today. Practically skipping with the freedom of it all, she entered the 1st year girls' dorm. There were two girls already there. One of them was Anabeth Greyvson, and she looked bored out of her mind. The other was someone Lydia had only seen in passing but hadn't spoken to much.
"Hi, Beth," said Lydia. "What're you up to?"
Lydia smiled at the other girl. She thought her name was Hanako. That sounded right. "You guys look totally bored. It's such a great day out today. Let's not stay here in the boring old dorm!"

Hana’s comment did not, in any way fall on deaf ears. Truly, a partner to explore with sounded like a brilliant thing – and Beth was about to say that when Lydia arrived. ”Hey Lyd, oh…y’know…I was playing with Tuna earlier” she shrugged and petted the little American short-hair kitten next to her.
”what were you thinking of doing? I was debating exploring – Hana seemed in even…we could do something fun?” the blonde asked happily as she rolled off of the bed and scrambled into a sitting position.

Hana definitely heard footsteps coming towards her. Well not to her exactly but those footsteps are coming nearer and nearer to the dorm room. She tilted her head a bit and saw another first year. Lydia was it? There's only a handful of first years, Hana should be at least remembering all their names.
Hana rolled then faced them both and chuckled softly. "oooh I love doing something fun." she looked at Beth and nodded. "What do you guys have in mind?" A big school definitely has some places that is fun.
And look at that, she is bonding with her classmates.

Lydia sat down on the bed next to Beth and patted Tuna on the head a few times. She was so glad she wasn't allergic to cats! They were adorable. Tuna was especially adorable. When Beth mentioned exploring and Hana asked what they should do, Lydia nodded her head. "We should definitely explore somewhere," she said. "Do you guys know of any interesting places in the castle you want to check out? Or maybe the forest? But I'm not sure if we're even allowed to go in there."
