Banner credit: Suziella Spent too long watching the northern lights in the Igloo? Starting to feel your toes go numb? Not to worry, next to the Igloo are the Hot Springs. There's no need to travel to Iceland to visit the famous Blue Lagoon anymore since Mr. Baldvinsson has brought some of that magic to Hogwarts.
Its vivid, translucent blue water is at just the right temperature for your muscles to relax and for your toes to regain their former color. This mineral-rich water will cleanse your skin and your mind from all thoughts of OWLs and NEWTs.
Not a big fan of the rotten egg smell? The Groundskeeper would like to state that the smell of sulphur is authentic but to avoid complaints from the students (and the staff): Mr. Baldvinsson has agreed to conceal the sulphur fumes.
This is a place to relax. Too much water splashing, running around or yelling will result in a grumpy Groundskeeper. Best to check if he's around before starting that water fight. Also; swimwear is required.

get with the popular girls right away and you can rule this school by seventh year." That was her plan for sure and she would do it, she was already close to ruling the school in her own eyes, so not long before she would. "Really all you have to do is not annoy older girls, especially the popular ones and stick by me." This was not a full invitation but a possible one.

It really did help ease her mind and all thoughts that weren't related to what the blonde girl was saying simply floated away.

She had run out of her dormitory with towel and book in head. Her feet took her down the several stairs and out the door.
She needed to get out and just RELAX. But where?
The Great Lake? No, that's where she was going to swim laps-- she didn't feel like doing that anymore.
OOH. Her eyes widened. Where to TRULY relax?
The Hot Springs, of course.
When she arrived there, she saw Harriet already in the Hot Springs. " Hey. Harriet, isn't it?" she asked, offering a smile as she began to remove her outer layers to reveal a swimsuit. " What's it like in there?"

Those are the girls you need to gravitate to. For instance be around Chloe, myself, Andi, and Soraya and help gain your social appearance." She wasn't promising anything, but the girl could try.

This older blonde girl was giving her information on the inner workings of being 'popular'. Whether or not this was going to prove to be important to the little ginger was yet to be known but it couldn't hurt to listen. Andi and Soraya she didn't know. However one name made her smile. "I know Miss Chloe. She's nice." She also really likes Unicorns too so that made the older girl important in Rylee's eyes. It was a start. She knew one... well kinda two out of the four names given.
It sounds like a lot of people watching to her. What she really wanted was to make friends with EVERYONE. She would have to see what being a part of this girls 'group' did for her and if it was worth it or not.

Kirk had been enjoying the lead up to the end of the term. Studying, homework assignments, the whole works had been taking part of his spare time other than Quidditch. But he needed some down time with his girlfriend who definitely needed a break too from the studying as well. So here he was heading down the grounds to one of their favorite spots.
The Hot Springs.. what better way to relax than to bask in the warmth and scenery all at once here. He brought the usual quilt for them to lounge and some snacks as well. "Here's a good spot?" He asked once arriving.

It was almost a relief that NEWTs had happened already, but that one thing was so much closer. Leaving, soon, really soon she wouldn’t be coming back to the once place that had been a true solid home. For so many years now. ”Yeah, it’s a great spot,” Mel smiled over to Kirk and moved closer to him as he brought out the quilt.
Helping to set the snacks and quilt up was always well, fun for her. ”I’m going to miss this hot spring…” she smiled over to him as her fingers clenched around the envelope in her hand.
”Kirk,…I have something for you” she grinned as she reached into her bag and pulled out a somewhat tattered notebook. The pages looked dog-eared even with the book being closed. ”its…a bit shabby, but it’s a bullet journal for NEWT studies, each of the little tabs goes to a different subject…there are pre-made flashcards and everything…my sisters made them originally and I added to it” hopefully it would help with the theoretical portions of the exams for him?
”…oh, and um my sister Amelia…she – well, she charmed it so only people you either give it to…are related to, or are sharing it with can see the writing…” she smiled to herself yep. ”I’ve had it with me since my first year,” she grinned before turning her attention to setting up the food and snacks for their little date…
