| | Ravenclaw Table For those who belong in Ravenclaw House, in the middle of the Great Hall is where your table awaits. Blue banners containing an embroidered bronze eagle float above the polished table in honour of the wise Rowena Ravenclaw. Already placed on the tables are silver plates with accompanying cutlery and goblets. All that is missing right now are the mountains of food and pitchers containing your favourite beverages.
Though your stomach might be growing as you take a seat on one of the long benches next to the table, it is important to not get hangry -- gnawing your arm away or jabbing your fork repeatedly on the surface of the table will do no good whatsoever. Give everyone some time to get settled in and wait for Headmistress Hawthorne to deliver her speech. Keep yourself preoccupied by catching up with your fellow housemates or those who are visiting from the other tables until it is time to sink your teeth into the hearty and delicious meal prepared by the house-elves.

She approached the table, seeing all of the second through seventh years sitting down, and suddenly felt quite nervous. They were all so much OLDER than she was. And WISER. She hoped they would be kind... but one never knew. "H-hello," she said, sliding into a spare spot. "I'm... I'm H-Hanna."
Merlin, this was VERY uncomfortable.

Zyanya walked towards the Ravenclaw table, feeling better than she had all day. She was still going to miss her sister, now that they were in different houses but she had always felt that this was where she belonged. So she couldn't wait to see what it was going to be like.
But then, she realized that she didn't know anyone. Suddenly, she was worried about where to sit. What if she couldn't find a spare seat? Ok, calm down. She scanned the table as she got closer and found an empty spot. She was thinking how to start talking as she slid in next to another girl, even as the other girl spoke. "Hello Hanna! I'm Zyanya. Are you a first year too?" She asked, grinning.

| A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.
When he had been a first year, Dorian had been excited about the feast. Because it was all new. But now he started his second year and the Ravenclaw sat down at the table without much thought. He was a bit tired to be honest. The train ride had been a long one and all he wanted to do was go up to the dormitory and sleep.
But he knew he had to wait until the Headmistress had given her speech and they had all eaten. Dorian clapped his hands politely whenever a new student got sorted in to their Houses and his clapping got a bit more enthusiastic whenever someone came to Ravenclaw.
Leaning down and grabbing his bag from under the table which he had not placed outside in the hall this year, he rummaged through it until he found a muggle pen and a wordsearch book and opened it up on the page he had been on while on the train.

| All of you! Haaiiii! Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite The plainest way to describe the Ravenclaw as she entered the Great Hall was exhausted. This had to be the longest train ride in the history of train rides--nevermind the tracks had not been lengthened and the castle had not moved. Did that many things usually happen on the train? It all felt a bit much this go around and the longer the day got was the more she figured it having to do with the badge on her chest.
Before, it didn't matter if things went wrong, the Prefects would handle it. Now she was the Prefect and was suddenly expected to be the one....well....handling it. At this point, overwhelming was an understatement.
Her fatigue was countered by her own restlessness, there were anxieties that didn't begin to moderately fade until they were finally in the castle and it didn't seem anyone had gotten lost on the way here. Jessa had waited on the last carriage over, wanting to make sure none of the students were left behind while Erik was sent on ahead with the first set to have someone greet and usher them in once they hit the castle. It was a good strategy--though she didn't suspect he'd be thanking her for it any time soon.
By the time she got to the castle, it seemed most of the house had been seated and the sorting had begun. Jessa moved to the first empty spot she could find, not yet allowing herself to feel as tired and restless as she actually was. For now, she had First Years to make feel welcomed and returning students to greet and welcome back. "Welcome to Ravenclaw!" She cheered, slipping into a wide grin for the pair of First Years (Hanna and Zyanya) that sat close together. "No better house to be in." Most would chalk that up to house bias and maybe it was, but it made so much sense in her head. They had a library in their Common Room for Circe sake AND an experiment station. How many other houses could say that? "I'm Jessa, you're Prefect...I guess." Yeah....that was...gonna take some getting used to. "Ask me anything, because I'll probably do the same." Gentle disclaimer for the overly curious Ravenclaw. It was better they knew early on than finding out later.
It was the book, then the boy holding the book that next caught her attention. "Hey Dorian, what'chu got there?" Anything interesting enough to distract her from the disaster that was a train ride and the anxiety of losing a Firstie or two while she led them all back to the Common Room later?
Blue eyes drifted up to the staff dais and it was then that little knot of relief unwound itself inside her stomach. "No way. Tell me this is legit." Because she'd continue fearing for her education if it was a joke. "They canned Stewart from Transfiguration? Wicked. Here's to hoping this one knows what she's on about." Otherwise it was back to square one, wasn't it? There was just no redemption for anyone who didn't know the difference between a charm and a transfiguration spell. It wasn't comforting in the least, especially not when you were set in charge of the learning of others.

| Everyone Toothless - Napoleon of Crime - Gryffinclaw - Owl Emissary - Pirate Auror - DoctorDonna Time to tick off another last for her…the last start-of-term feast.
Cassie was upbeat about it though, having convinced herself on the train ride try really hard to not let her last year at Hogwarts be waylaid by bad emotions. Like sadness. She still had plenty of time with her fellow students and housemates, both new and returning. Plenty of time to have fun and create memories. And study of course for the NEWTs at end of term. So she was going to have a good time at her last first night.
Making her way to the familiar sight of the Ravenclaw table, the seventh year took in the activity in the Great Hall. A start-of-term feast like every start-of-term feast with all the excitement filling the large room, only dwarfed by her fifth year’s version with their visitors. As for her house, it almost seemed like most of the faces she came upon were new to her. “Hello and welcome to Ravenclaw,” she greeted the two girls sitting together she believed to be firsties and hoped she was correct. “Hi,” she greeted the young boy whom she vaguely remembered seeing around so NOT a newbie to Hogwarts. Oh look…there was another student! Thank Merlin! “Hey Jessa!” Cass greeted the fifth year as she finally took a seat of her own. No longer moving, the seventh year was able to notice something on the other girl’s robes causing a smile. Someone was taking Kitty’s place of course. “Congrats on prefect.”

| everyone • HuffleStud • Knight of The Zodiac • Manly Beard-Grower • Cicatrice de Harry • Kirk wasn't a big fan of the separating from Mel as they returned to the castle. Though it was temporarily, they had unspoken reasons for remaining attached. Anyways, when he sat down it was back to the stars for him.. Oh. It was overcast for the evening. Well, the stars may be shy tonight but Kirk didn't need to mimic the behavior.
"Everything cool, Jessa?" He remembered the overwhelming feeling that sometimes came as Prefect. Sure, he may have traded it in for Captain, but still. Leader's a leader, which in Kirk's language was that he got your back when needed. "Hey Dorian, Cassie." Kirk greeted the nearby occupants. "Ready for the new year?" He himself had an optimistic view.
Kirk eventually stopped hoping for the skies to subside and reveal the constellations when the doors allowed the new first years to be sorted. Two girls were already getting situated when he chimed in with Jessa. "Hey, welcome to Ravenclaw. Home of the best fliers in sight." Well, they did have a great mascot after all. "I'm Kirk, Captain of the Quidditch team here." It was never too early to try and recruit. |

| Sassenach | RAVENPUFF | Sing me a song of a lass that is gone | bookDRAGON | #awkwardturtle<# People were talking to her!
With such relief, Hanna turned to the side where someone else was sliding in. Another first year! They would probably be dorm-mates. At least she THOUGHT there were dorms. That's what her family had told her. "Hello Zyanya," Hanna said brightly to the other girl. She nodded, "Yup, I am." She was SO happy. "Are you happy to be in Ravenclaw?" she asked.
And then an older girl with a shiny BADGE, similar to Tenacious', spoke. So she was their Prefect. Hanna smiled at her, feeling LESS and LESS nervous. "Hello Jessa," she said. She BEAMED at the welcome to Ravenclaw, and even though Hanna wanted to come to Hogwarts with an empty mind, happy to be placed wherever, she was actually very happy to be in Ravenclaw, AND agreed with Jessa, secretly at this stage, that there were no greater house to be in. She was quite sure she'd be asking Jessa lots of questions, but she thought perhaps she should pace herself. Firstly though... "Are there lots of books here? Stories?" She really hoped there were because she couldn't actually bring all of the books she wanted to.
Two others spoke up to welcome them. A girl (Cassie) and a boy. "Hello," Hanna said to both of them, her anxiety calming more and more. At FIRST, the boy's comment took a moment to register. The best fliers in sight? But THEN it all made sense. Quidditch Captain? "Wow," Hanna said. "Quidditch!" Hanna loved flying, but didn't get to do it much. But obviously there would be a quidditch pitch, AND brooms to fly with! "Hello Kirk, I'm Hanna."

Ravenclaw.
That was a weird thought! She'd quickly scuttled off to the blue table to join the other people that were part of her house, allowing herself to flop down among the group. A lot of people were already around, and they were already speaking with one another. How to best handle this situation? "Hi everyone, I'm Shera!" she waved, beaming at everyone who was at the table. It was a shame that she hadn't met anyone yet...

Ravenclaw! Gosh, she was so excited. She'd hoped upon hope that this was the house she would be sorted into. Having bounced into the crowd of fellow first years off the stool and almost knocked half of them over, she now skipped her way toward the Ravenclaw table.
As she neared it, her eyes widened at the sight of the people she would be spending the next seven terms with.
Finally reaching the table, she took a seat next to someone she only recognised from the stool not too long ago. "Hello everybody!"
Nervous wasn't even close to how she felt. But there were plenty of people to make friends with, right? Yes, this was her very first time away from her family but she was excited for what was to come.

After seeing that Connor was seated at the Slytherin table,Magnolia made her way to her own table and got settled. Of course all her friends, which were very few mind you, were at different tables which meant the 4th year was sat by herself. She occupied herself with the eating utensils, willing the evening to run off quickly so she wouldn't end up looking like a social reject for much longer.
Sighing, she eyed the prefect and the quidditch captain who were interacting with others a bit further up the table.

There were Jessa and Cassandra, Kirk with a shiny new badge, and all the first years staring around like they'd never seen a castle before. The new year was always exciting, but this one was special. This was OWL year, and he was not looking forward to the extreme amount of studying he knew he would push himself into. He was also not looking forward to the wait for the feast to appear, but he still had a chocolate frog left from the train, so at least he wouldn't starve.
A glance at the staff table confirmed Hirsch was still around. Good, some stability around here, he thought. Last year had been a 'drama llama,' to borrow his mother's phrase. Although, who knew when a flying taxi, snowmobile, or similar would be spotted bringing some new set of people to invade the castle.
He didn't want anything unexpected and chaotic to interrupt his OWL year.

| Everyone. A long phone post *passes out* ❅ Purple Lightsaber ❅| | Captain Sarcastic | About halfway into the train ride juniper had finally accepted that once again summer was over and they were going back to school. It wasn’t that she wasn’t excited to be coming back she was, and she was actually relieved that summer was over. It wasn’t a bad summer or anything just long and kind of weird.
She made her way over to the Ravenclaw table to familiar faces. Clapping excitedly as a few of the new first years had been sorted into Ravenclaw. ”Welcome to Ravenclaw. The best house.” Of course it was. Smiling toward Hanna and Zyanya. Two more new Ravenclaws Elliot and Shera who she had seen on the train and offered her candy too. Though she didn’t get her name then but guess she knew it now. ”I’m Juniper.”
Though it wasn’t long that she had spotted the second year Dorian. Was he doing a word search. She laughed slightly. Shaking her head. Was he that bored already? Not that she thought that word searches were boring. ”Hey Dorian. A word search during the feast?” Honestly she was just here for the food tonight. To her surprise she scene that Jessa was just as curious about what the second year had as she was.
Prefect? She tilted her head and. Squinted at the badge. ”Congratulations Jessa.” Obviously she wasn’t at surprised by that. Jessa was super smart. And Juni liked her well enough. And that Erik guy was the male prefect? Okay. She had given him a congratulations as well.
Thank goodness she had seen Magnolia. She still hadn’t found a place to sit but once she seen her dormmate she sat down beside her. ”Hey Mags. How was your summer?” sitting with her dormmate already made her feel like she was home again. She also seen two other older students Cassie and Finn. She waved in their direction and say ”Hey Cassie. Finn.”
What in the world she glanced at the Hufflepuff table. Had Zita put her plans into action already? She craned her neck bit was soon distracted.
Somewhere down the table she had heard the word quidditch. Yes that was back. And yes this summer it had crossed her mind to try out. So shouldn’t there be a captain's badge somewhere around here? She looked around for it. Finally her eyes laid on the boy who had been prefect last year that there it was. Kirk was captain. ”Captain Kirk?Congratulations!” She was secretly excited that she could tap into her nerdy girl side with this. Yep sorry Kirk that nickname was going to stick now.

| I think I got everyone but poked me if I didn't <3 Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite Even with her attention on the claws at the table, Jessa still managed the odd applause when the hat sorted for a house and another firstie went to take their place. She remembered how...well...excited wasn't necessarily the word but.....intrigued she was by this whole thing when she'd been a first year. An enchanted ceiling, a hat that spoke to you and yelled house names, the Great Hall alive with cheers of older students.
It'd been a real experience. This wasn't to say she no longer enjoyed the opening and closing feasts but by now it was all so routine to her that it was no longer one of the many wonders the castle held for her. "Hey Cassie." It seemed getting away from the Prefect Compartment wouldn't be enough to get her away from all the congratulations. Jessa wasn't by any means an ungrateful girl but practicality ruled her mind and this badge wasn't a prize to be congratulated for. It was another rung of responsibility and one more thing she had to factor into any day. "Thanks." She wouldn't be rude, despite her own misgivings about the badge. "Time to see how well I multi-task, I guess. Might very well need that assistant afterall." Between her own experiments, classes, homework, OWL revision to be sure most of what she'd learned in the last year stuck, she really had her term cut out for her.
Ah, there was Kirk. She'd been wondering where he'd gotten off to during the carriage ride over but had somehow figured he might have gone on ahead. "Things would be better if Erik wasn't the one wearing the other badge." She admitted, not at all amused by the choice of co-prefect. "You could swear I did something wrong in a past life." What honestly had she done to deserve Erik Richard Cassian Jessup III? It'd been a while since a subject died under her care. Had Hirsch somehow found out about OTHER ones and decided subtle but sustained punishment would go a longer way? "Where is our wayward Prefect anyway?" She'd sent him ahead so he should've been here somewh--oh, there is was, further down the table being a nuisance to someone else. Right.
She would just....turn her attention...back to her section of the table. The less she acknowledged him the better it was for everyone else. "There's tons of books, our Common Room library's got all sorts." Jessa replied, pleased with Hanna's level of enthusiasm towards the stuff. [b]"On more subjects than you could probably event think up. "It's enough to keep anyone busy--just remember homework. Got a T once for that. Didn't even remember Herbology existed."
And as if on cue, two other Firsties joined the table one behind the other (Shera and Elliot). "Ravenclaw, nice. You'll both love it here, but if you ever feel like maybe the hat made a mistake, hit me up and I'll change your mind." Through logic and rational thought but, y'know, she could convince them. "I'm Jessa. If you guys ever get overwhelmed or stumped on homework," Whatever really, "come find me, I'm always willing to help." The first year was always a little daunting, what with all the adjustments that needed making so yeah, she'd make some time. "The sixth floor's your best bet if I'm not up in the Common Room-- but I might be in the middle of an experiment and not always immediately available." That went for all three First Years, and anyone else who might've been listening. She WOULD make herself available but she wouldn't be held accountable if someone needed her and she wasn't in a position to drop everything.
Best to leave that disclaimer too.
From the corner of her eyes she caught Magnolia take a seat at the table too. With her being so far down the table, all Jessa could really do for now was wave, but the girl was more than welcome to join them all at this section of the table.
Next in her field of vision? Finn. "Weird isn't it?" She asked, catching the way he'd been looking up at the staff table. "Always new faces and you never really think about it at the start of term, but some of 'em just won't come back. I gotta say I like the changes so far." Her education wasn't a joke and she didn't appreciate the way it'd been handled by some of the previous Professors. "Wonder how much info the new ones got before taking on the role." As in, did they know students had been cursed? Or about Monsters and portals? What was their perception coming in. Huh. Maybe she'd ask. "Thanks....." Jessa said, by now an automatic response. One she hoped she would be able to stop soon enough--but that wasn't why she was distracted. Juni's looking at the Puffer table had her looking at the table just in time to see Zita and Derf kissing?...."I didn't think she'd moved on already." She said aloud without really meaning to. She was also eyeing her friend who'd all but lost it on the train for similar circumstances but was now kissing her in the middle of the Great Hall...? "Always interesting to see ow people come back after the summer." Some bolder than others, clearly.

He was pulled from his short reverie by the voice of his Prefect and fellow fifth year. He wasn't sure if the comment was morbid, perceptive, or something else entirely, honestly. But he chose to ignore the parts he wasn't altogether sure of. "As long as Hirsch sticks around until I'm done with NEWTs. A new Defense professor and Head of House all in one go would be some serious carnage." And as far as how much they were told? "Hopefully nothing. Otherwise they'd know we're all maniacs before they grade our first essays." That was no laughing matter. How many first years were left to be Sorted still? He craned his neck to have a look at the line. This Claw was hungry.

| Toothless - Napoleon of Crime - Gryffinclaw - Owl Emissary - Pirate Auror - DoctorDonna There was another of her fellow upperclassman, Kirk making an appearance near her and Jessa. “Yep…all set,” she answered, “What about you?” Spotting a badge on his chest, Cassie almost claimed him as the male prefect until she noted the distinct difference in the badges. A difference confirmed as he introduced himself to the new Ravenclaws. “You mean…quidditch truly is back?” Sure, she had seen mention of the removal of its forbidden nature at some point, but given it hadn’t been allowed at Hogwarts for her entire stay at the school, she hadn’t expected it to just return like that. “Congrats!”
Her greetings to the young girl named Hanna had been welcomed and Cassie couldn’t help but smile. The new students made opening feasts more exciting, the older Ravenclaw clapping as each new eagle was added to their count. Like the newest…Shera she introduced herself as. “Nice to meet you, Shera,” Cass returned with a friendly smile, “I’m Cassie. Welcome to Ravenclaw.” Oh look at all the nervous firsties…had she been this bad? “Hello!” she greeted the next down to the table who hadn’t given a name just yet.
The seventh year was letting her gaze wander again at all the motion and happenings that were taking place inside the Great Hall. Her eyes touched upon the staff table with both new and old faces before catching sight of movement back on the Ravenclaw table. Oh…a wave! “Hi Juni…” she said, waving back, then returned her attention to Jessa as the newly-minted prefect spoke to her again. “I suppose so, what with studying for exams.” She was a fifth year right? In which case she remembered trying to balance two school responsibilities herself with the IMPS competition her fifth year.
Oh and ERIK was the new male prefect. “No clue…haven’t seen him.”

TWO MORE! "Hello Shera," Hanna said excitedly, and then turned slightly to the other fellow new first year (Elliott), and said "Hello, I'm Hanna." They were to be first years together. Yep.
Another older student welcomed her, AND introduced herself. Hanna really liked it when she knew names. "Hi Juniper," Hanna said with a grin. Jessa answered her question with MORE than she would have ever dreamed. "The common room has a library?" she asked, her mouth a wide O. "Wow." She didn't even need to LEAVE the common room to GO TO THE LIBRARY? Although, actually, she loved libraries so she would go at least sometimes. Just as she was processing that information, she was reminded of homework. Hanna had forgotten about that. "You got a T? Were you in trouble? What's a T?"

| Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite "It won't really be studying for me, just some light revision. I don't have much time for anything else if I wanna get to the Seventh Year syllabus by February." Helping Jahan with his OWL studies had been the point when she'd learned the material, now she was ready to move on to bigger and more challenging things. Maybe she and Cassie would end up studying together when she got to that point.
Blue eyes drifted back to the other end of the table where the Male Prefect sat. She could only imagine the sort of conversation they were suffering through--or maybe they weren't. Maybe he was only insufferable when it came to his position and giving her orders. "Only the first day back but with Erik in charge, I'm starting to think it's gonna be a long term." Jessa averted her gaze again, refusing to acknowledge the way he winked at them both. Merlin was he full of it. "I don't know." Jessa mused thoughtfully as she considered the pros and cons of having new Professors know they were nuts. "Might be for the best. They won't end up expecting the wrong sorts of things--or trying certain teaching methods." There were only so many ways you could teach crazy people, yeah? "But you're right, as long as Hirsch sticks around, I won't be worried about anything." She continued, in full agreement with Finn. "Worst comes to worst, I'll just keep teaching myself things in the other subjects, but Hirsch is the deal breaker." There would be no recovering from that....ever.
And now that she was thinking about it, the 5th Year couldn't help looking to the staff dais again. He wasn't ever leaving....yeah....?
A smile spread across her face at Hanna's next question. "Sure does! And an experimental station which is probably the best part of the entire Common Room when it comes down to it. Charmed to cancel most noises, it's the perfect place to get things discovered and such." Nearly as impressive as her own lab she'd kinda stolen.
But before that, a bit of explanation on the grading. "T stands for Troll. It's the lowest possible grade you can get on a test or assignment. I didn't do it, so I couldn't very well get anything higher than that." Made sense if she thought about it. Trolls weren't known for being the brightest blokes out there. "You'll wanna avoid those but it's not the end of the world either way. It's not the tests that tell you you're smart or otherwise."

He wondered what Jessa considered to be the right and wrong things for professors to expect of their pupils. Finn tilted his head to the side in consideration, screwing up his mouth over to the side in the process. "What pedagogy would you suggest is a bad idea for crazy people, anyhow?" He hadn't ever thought about it, but clearly she had.
"Anything? The man isn't a god, Jessa," he quipped. "This is Hogwarts, after all. Something crazy will happen guaranteed, even with Hirsch here! Just maybe not anything awful in the Defense classroom, is all." So what if he was too literal? He still had a point.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Shera Ben-Ari Third Year | Juniper and Jessa
Oooooh, it was the girl who had offered her candy! Shera couldn't help but beam excitedly at Juniper. "Nice to meet you.... again," she greeted, finally wondering how they hadn't introduced themselves to each other when they had literally shared snacks. Speaking of snacks, she was hungry... "How long until we get to eat?"It was probably a while based on the fact that there were still people being sorted when she looked back to the hat.
Then her attention was drawn to another older girl, and Shera's eyes caught sight of what she already recognised as a Prefect badge. That was pretty cool. And also not surprising based on how welcoming Jessa was. "Thank you," she responded to all of the offers that Jessa was making. Maybe this was the nicest and most helpful person she had ever met. And she didn't doubt that at some point or another Shera was probably going to need Jessa's help. Another thing the older girl had said ended up catching Shera's attention. "Experiments? What kind of experiments do you do?"
And then there was someone else!
Shera's eyes turned to Cassie and she couldn't help the smile that just stayed planted on her face. Everyone was ridiculously welcoming it turned out. "Nice to meet you too, Cassie."
It was then that Shera's attention was dragged to another person she saw in the sorting, Hanna. She perked up even more if that was possible at meeting another first year. "Hey Hanna." She wasn't really sure what else to say. She was too nervous, excited and currently also overwhelmingly hungry to think.

Just maybe not anything awful in the Defense classroom, is all." So what if he was too literal? He still had a point. Orthodox, by the books methods of teaching." To put the answer simply. Who even would pay attention? How even did they pay attention? She couldn't do it. "I dunno about you, but I've had my fill of reading my text and having "rousing" class discussions that aren't allowed to go anywhere--unless they're particularly jarring in light of everything else happening." A discussion on removing the statute of secrecy when someone was cursing students and leaving blood messages that damned magic? ......Not...exactly....tactful.
Her shoulder rose in a half shrug, not particularly fussed by Finn's correction? Reprimand? Whatever it was. "I know he isn't God. That's not what the statement's about." She explained, looking back to the man at the table. "I only mean, I don't particularly care about anything else. I'm confident I'd get over anything else that happens fairly quickly." Especially given the fact she'd learned very early on not to expect too much and not to cling to too many attachments. To be sure, she already had enough. Most chaos around the castle....would not mess with those. "This is Hogwarts. Things'll happen as they please. I personally hope I'm there for the most exciting." Because let's face it, if you missed it, there was always red tape and people seldom wanted to talk about it. That monster a few years back? Yeah, good luck getting anyone who actually SAW it to tell you jack. Clearly had to be there. No other way to learn. Quote:

Only issue came when some people started giving her looks for it. The Ravenclaw could definitely do without that. It's why she seldom went into great detail anymore....at least not until she was sure whoever she was speaking to wasn't just another doom and gloom, morality neigh-sayer.
Wanna know how to kill a few braincells? Just talk to a few of those people. "...Normal ones, I guess." Downplaying, she tempered her enthusiasm with caution. She didn't need spooked Firsties--or anyone else trying to run to the Headmistress. "I tinker with Potions and Charms mostly but I've got a few interests that drift closer to Herbology. They keep me up in my lab most times, it's easy to get lost in them." And harder when she lost her test subjects. To date, Apollo and Galileo were her hardest losses. She would miss her undead birds.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Maisey Wilde Slytherin Fourth Year Hogwarts RPG Name: TBA? Ravenclaw x5
| ❅ Purple Lightsaber ❅| | Captain Sarcastic | What was going on at the Hufflepuff table was like a train wreck that you just couldn’t look away from. Juni was still aware of the conversations that were happening in front of her at her own table. She nodded, at Jessa’s response, she was probably already used to that response by now. Still not being able to take her eyes away from the Hufflepuff table. Once she did she looked at Jessa then out the room. Zita was her friend, but sometimes she didn’t understand some of the things that she did. ”Honestly I don’t know.” Shaking her head. There was a lot to the whole kissing thing she didn’t know, and may it was better that way. ”Some really know how to start the term out with a bang.” Slowly nodding. Again Zita was her friend, but some girls just lived for the drama, unfortunately Zita was one of them.
Now that that was over with, maybe they could go back to the normal start of feast drama that happened every year. She turned to talk the older boy. She beamed, mostly because quidditich was already a topic of conversation at the Ravenclaw table. Better than having to hear about Zita and Derf and what had just gone down. ”Yeah, I’m ready for it anyway. Are you?” And quidditch she had all summer to think about it ”I think so. I mean I can always try and see what happens.” She planned on trying out anyway, if she made it she did, if she didn’t that was okay too. She had seen Zoryn’s captains badge and that obviously had given her more motivation to try out and make the team. She really hoped that they did have another play this term.
Then the girl from the train was speaking to her. She smiled and beamed at her. It had actually been kind of nice being one of the cool older students taking some of the younger students under her wing. Juni nodded. ”You too.” As for when they were going to get to eat. The fourth year looked up at the sorting line. ”After everyone is sorted then Headmistress Hawthorne will give a speech then we can eat.” She smiled softly at the younger girl, and quietly slipped her another chocolate frog. Playing the part of a older student was easy just like being a older sister. Which at times that felt like the only thing she was any good at. Being a big sister. Though she was actually once the youngest and now a middle child, with a clear case of middle child syndrome. She was Ross and Keely’s little sister, and Elias and Elijah’s big sister. Speaking of the feast, there was Headmistress Hawthorne with the speech. Finally she was strived, and poor Slate and his stomach she was starting to worry about them.
