Hufflepuff Table https://s26.postimg.org/ookwdev89/hu...ble-banner.jpg For those who belong in Hufflepuff House, in the middle of the Great Hall is where your table awaits. Gold banners containing an embroidered black badger float above the polished table in honour of the loyal Helga Hufflepuff. Already placed on the tables are silver plates with accompanying cutlery and goblets. All that is missing right now are the mountains of food and pitchers containing your favourite beverages. |
First post in Hufflepuff table *WHAAAAAA* So this was the infamous Hogwarts. So far she did feel that there were some differences between this school and Mahoutokoro like the train they had to take to reach this place, being picked up by the carrier (which was pulled by an invisible force... or something.), the scenery... and the cold, Merlin! Diandra already could feel the cold hit her bone by the time she took off from the train. When the professor called her name and put the sorting hat, the Asian girl felt nervous but also somewhat let the hat decide which house she would be in. Then it announced HUFFLEPUFF and she couldn't help but surprised... Well, surprised and also glad at the same time. At least she had known a person in that house who's also a prefect there which was a big thing for a new student like her. Taking a deep breath, Diandra made herself to the badger table. Uh.... hi? She never enjoyed being a new person. |
Anyone Daisy sat down in her usual seat at the table. She was excited about starting her third year and making some new friends. Would this year be even more exciting than the last? She adjusted her bracelet and made sure her uniform was neat and tidy as she spotted a new Hufflepuff (Diandra). "Hello there. Welcome to Hufflepuff. My name's Daisy." |
Feast! Hattie was so excited. The blonde practically skipped to the house table, but decided to be cool instead and she wondered down. She loved the feasts, and was ready to see what yummy food there would be. Hmm. Didn't seem to be too many people here yet, but that was okay. That meant she could meet some new friends. Would that be really cool. Harriet loved making new friends. The blonde smiled as she headed down to where a few students were already sat. She wasn't sure who one was, but recognised the other. "Hey Daisy" The sixth year smiled as she took a seat. "I hope you had a nice summer" She had. It had been awesome. She looked over at the other girl, and smiled. "Hello. I'm Harriet. Are you new?" |
Daisy grinned as Hattie wandered over to the table and sat down. "Hey, Hattie. I had a great Summer, thanks. How was yours?" |
The FEAST! Scarlett always loved the Start of Term feast, not just because of the food but because it was the first time she got to see everyone after the long summer. Got to see who got new haircuts, new badges, new styles...she LIVED for that kind of stuff! She looked around to see if Clay was around...she hadn't seen him yet, but he was probably off hanging out with kids in his year. As for Evie, well, she was about to get sorted SOOOOOO...maybe she'd be at the table soon! Or maybe not. That would be WEIRD. Quote:

To everyone!!! Miranda sat there at the table with her fellow badgers and greeted each and every new arrival as they joined the House Table. The closest firstie she saw join them seemed a bit shy, but was of course greeted quickly by all the surrounding students. And of course Miranda would welcome her as well. " Hello there.. My name's Miranda, but most call me Randa.. Welcome to Hufflepuff. ", she said with a smile. then she turned and said her hellos to Daisy , Hattie and Scarlett as well.. " It's great to see you all.. How were your summers? " |
Alessandro had spent nearly every night since he had decided on Hogwarts instead of Durmstrang envisioning his first feast in the castle. He had seen himself proud and resplendent in green. Expectation had obviously been dashed in one, foul swoop. He tried not to let it get to him— the overwhelming anger at himself for being an complete and utter disappointment to his family name— but that was a rather tall order for an eleven year old. He sullenly took his seat and looked around the table at all of his new housemates. Al tried to muster up his manners, he tried to talk himself into engaging, but he was a disappointed kid. And he didn’t want to interact. Unless he was forced to, really. |
Kimi smiled as he sat down at the Hufflepuff table and was glad to be back and he hoped that he would be able to stay healthy for the whole of the term and not have to worry about being ill he had all his medication in his trunk just in case |

Kimi smiled at Daisy and said "Hey Daisy, my summer was good and no health issues so far but cause it's exam year for me i could have a few during the term" |

Kimi nodded and said "I will try to do my best Daisy but it is going to be difficult but i feel i will manage if i just take my time and don't study for too long otherwise i will start to stress a bit" Kimi knew anyway how to manage his illness and hopefully it would be under control during the whole of the school year |
Daisy smiled and said, "If you have the need for a study buddy or someone to just help you unwind, please don't hesitate to come to me. You are a dear friend." |
Kimi smiled at Daisy and said "Sure i will do that cause i will need to unwind for sure cause i have heard that OWLs are tough but still NEWTs are harder still but to be honest i just want to get my fifth year out of the way already" |
Daisy smiled a sympathetic smile. "Which classes are you looking forward to taking this year? I don't mean for your exams but just in general." |
Kimi thought and said "Probably Charms or Potions would be the lessons i am looking forward to" Kimi could tell from the staff table that there were a few changes in the staff he was dissapointed that there was a new history of magic professor he wondered what had happened to Rose who taught last year and was always pretty helpful to him when he was ill |
"I'm also looking forward to Charms and Potions as well as Divination. Goodness, there have been a few staff changes so it will be interesting to see the new teachers' approach to their lessons." Daisy said. |
Kimi nodded and said "Yeah your right there Daisy it is going to be interesting, hope it is going to be a good year for us all nothing weird and unusual going on but to be honest i guess the weird and unusual is what makes a hogwarts year so interesting" |
Daisy gave a small laugh and said. "Imagine a normal year at Hogwarts. That certainly would be something. However, I do agree with you about unusual events making going to this very school interesting." |
Hufflepuff. Emmalyn couldn't believe how excited she was to be a Hufflepuff. She proudly sat at her house table and looked around at all of the new faces. A little twinge of sadness hit when she realized that none of her new friends from Diagon Alley or the train were in the same house as her. Glancing around again, she noticed that most of the students appeared to be older than her. Emmalyn began to get more and more nervous and wondered if this entire 'I'm a witch and go to Hogwarts' thing was more than she could handle. She took a few slow deep breaths to calm her nerves, put on the happiest face she could muster, and quietly waited for her heart and mind to fall in line with the possibilities around her. |

"Do you know when we get to eat? I was so nervous on the train I couldn't eat. Now, I'm afraid the growling from my stomach is going to scare the ghosts right out of the castle!" she giggle a little after she said it. |

Daisy giggled at Emmalyn's joke. "Well, the Headmistress will say her speech and then usually with a wave of her hand, food appears. Patience is key but it is worth it." |
Night had studied the houses a little bit when she found out she was going to Hogwarts and not Ilvermorny, and she wasn't really surprised she got Hufflepuff. She was kind of a boring person, not brave or sly or incredibly smart. She knew Hufflepuff wasn't supposed to be the "boring" house, but at the moment she couldn't remember the qualities of her new house, except for "Hufflepuffs are particularly good finders." She sat down and studied her House flag above her. She didn't really feel like a badger, but then again, she didn't really feel like a snake or a lion or an eagle either. And, she was a little confused about the symbols for Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. What exactly did an eagle and a badger mean? A lion for Gryffindor, she understood, because lions were brave, and snakes were sneaky. But for the houses she had heard were lesser appreciated, she just didn't get their animals. Looking around at the table, she realized everyone was older than her. She wished someone would talk to her, because she wasn't good about making the first move. |
