| | Healing Run by: Vanessa Paton - St. Mungo's Healer Amelia Adara - Pride of Portree Healer
Near the centre of the Great Hall stands a light blue coloured booth with a white banner sporting a wand and a bone hanging on the back wall. On the table you see healing career pamphlets and pictures of wizards and wizards suffering from different magical maladies ranging from mundane to dangerous and even some muggle first aid kits. As a treat for all that come up to the table the women have provided signed copies of a Healers Help mate and some basic healing kits.
Do you have questions about healing in general or healing careers? Or maybe you even have an ailment you want advice on then step right up, Vanessa and Amelia are both happy to help! Have fun and be creative!

| Vanessa the Snot Girl l Rachels Rule | rock, tumble,&roll ❆ adorable coffee bean It had been a while since she'd been at Hogwarts. Or a year anyway. She'd been coming now and again for board of Governors related things. But today was different. She was talking about her actual job today! There hadn't been a jobs fair when she'd been at Hogwarts, but she was looking forward to talking to the students about healing. Whilst she had always known that she had wanted to be a healer, she knew that being able to ask some questions would have been useful. Another great thing was that she was getting to talk about it alongside her good friend Amelia! Though they did different kinds of healing she was happy to see her friend. "I wonder how many students will come talk to us" She mused with a smile, as she adjusted a few of the leaflets. She knew that some of them would be more interested in Mia's aspect of healing. Being a healer on a quidditch team was pretty cool. But so was Transfiguration healing, and she was excited to talk about it!

| #thisisweird YesJess! | Captain Goggles | Mama Badger | Eva's Soul Sister | An OG™ | It's all in the Numbers Unlike the person at her table, it had probably been a good decade since Amelia Adara had been back to Hogwarts. And even so, she wasn't inside the castle, but had merely gone to observe a quidditch match during Chloe's younger years before it got cancelled. So really, other than the pitch, Amelia hadn't been back to Hogwarts since she graduated five million years ago in 2066. And technically longer than that, since she'd been at Belle's her final year; Merlin that seemed like eternity ago. It wasn't as if she didn't want to return, but she had no reason to and wanted her kids to be able to learn and discover Hogwarts without having their mother checking in on them. With her kids graduated and healer position on the Pride of Portree Quidditch team that she'd held for nearly two decades, the ginger, former Hufflepuff Prefect slash Captain was ready to return and eager to talk about her experiences.
When most people considered healing, they probably thought about it in the traditional medicinal sense at St Mungos or their school nurse at Hogwarts. But as a former Ballycastle Bats quidditch chaser took healing one step beyond as she was able to incorporate two things she was passionate about into one career. Which was, helping people but sports medicine.
With a medicine ball on the table as props, next to her stack of signed healers helpmate, she glanced over at Vanessa. "Hattie will be graduating soon, won't she?" She said conversationally. Aka, she hoped to see that Paton girl exploring her options. The Diggory girl too. Maybe she could convince them to try professional quidditch for a couple years, even though that wasn't her booth, she still represented a team.

Snow Miser | Munchy | Molly Hooper | T | Hey, you | Phantom | Mrs. Chris Evans | Brat Pack | Tristalen Apollo was almost considering not coming to the job fair, especially since the booth he wanted to visit, might have someone there that recognized him from his recent stay in St.Mungos.
However, he really was interested in healing, a thought that had strengthened during his stay there actually. He wanted to help people like him, like they had helped. Sure he wasn’t fully better, but he was well on his way to recovery, so that’s why he was in the great hall and heading directly for the healing booth. “Hello,” The boy greeted the two ladies there as his grey eyes looked over everything. “So how do you become a healer? Is there a certain school that is best for it?” He asked curiously. |

| Jedi Master•General Iroh•Java Junkie• King ♛ Stefan •Mycroft Holmes•Dragon Lord•Druid Boy Honesty hour, Jace didn't want to be near this particular booth. The past two terms had been awkward when his uncle had to be the school healer and his potions professor as well. He'd heard about the Job Fair while he stayed with his family in Newcastle, and was actually anxious to see his uncle make a comeback. Jace knew his uncle River will bombard him with questions as opposed to him asking university advice. Seeing that he wasn't there, the Ravenclaw began to relax a little, but the slight shade of pink on his cheeks was still evident. He wasn't sick, just...shy and embarrassed at the same time.
Jace came right next to a sixth year Slytherin, a Kennedy by the way, and offered him a polite grin and nod. He had heard the boy got admitted to St. Mungo's not long ago. Though curious, Jace knew it wasn't the right place and time to ask him what happened. That and the fact that they aren't exactly close compared to Azura, so the older Ravenclaw opted to stay quiet and diverted his attention to the two healers up front. One of them looked familiar since she worked with his uncle in St. Mungo's. One of the most memorable was when Olivia got admitted to St. Mungo's during her recovery, so he was able to meet a bunch of them. "Hello," Jace started as he looked at the spread and kits before him. "Uhm...I suppose the universities will require a recent medical certificate upon admission, right? I already have an updated Dragon Pox Vaccine care of...my...uncle River. Would you know if there are any additional requirements if I get accepted to study curse-breaking?"

| you three Vanessa the Snot Girl l Rachels Rule | rock, tumble,&roll ❆ adorable coffee bean Vanessa did have to admit that it was very odd to be back at Hogwarts alongside Mia. They hadn't been here together since they were at school. So it was very strange, and odd. It was nice to be back though. Hogwarts would always be her home, and she did miss being here, even though some horrible things had happened whilst she had been here. She would be happy to go home to her own bed though. She had adored the common room, but her own bed was so much more comfortable than she remembered the dorms ones being. She'd have to ask her daughter, sicne Hattie was a badger like she had been. She smiled at Mia as she mentioned that sixth year. "Next Year" The brunette confirmed with a smile. [2]"She wants to go to Bath Spa University to study Creative Arts, so that should be fun" She murmured with a smile. She had known her daughter had wanted to art, so she was happy with that. She knew Hattie would go far.
oooh. and they had some students wanting to talk now. That was good. She was happy that they wanted to know about healing. She recognised the first young man that came up to them. It was Skylar's boyfriend she thought. She was pretty sure he'd been a patient at St Mungos. So it was lovely to see that he was better. "Apollo right?" The brunette asked with a smile. "It's lovely that you're interested in Healing. "I completed pre-healer studies at the London Campus of Wizarding Uni, and then did a internship. As for the best campus.... I'm not entirely sure. I stayed at London due to family commitments, but it's a great Campus. I'd say though, that london would be ideal if you want to eventually work in St. Mungos." but that wasn't the only option, so it all depended on how and where they wanted to work.
She turned her attention to the other student and smiled. "Hello. I'm Vannie. It's lovely to meet you" She murmured with a smile. She was a little confused about his questions though. "Uh....to study curse-breaking?" She clarified. Was he aware that this was the healing area? And as a healer she had no clue about curse breaking, and how you would get onto that course.

| Jedi Master•General Iroh•Java Junkie• King ♛ Stefan •Mycroft Holmes•Dragon Lord•Druid Boy Honestly, healing wasn't a bad choice, but he didn't want it for some reason. He felt like it was exciting, mentally stimulating even, but he didn't want to be the deliverer of bad news. Attachments were a no-no in the field. His uncle River was quite strict with that. Jace listened to the woman, who by the way looked awfully familiar, and took in mental notes of her conversation with the Slytherin. Jace came to this event thinking that they'd be biased of such things, but so far, they were fair in their answers. He thought, the school really don't matter much, as long as the student is resourceful enough in his or her studies. His uncle transferred to Castelobruxo for a reason though. Apparently, Hogwarts wasn't good enough for him. "It's nice to meet you too, Healer Vannie." he replied, bowing slightly in greeting soon after his presence was acknowledged. Force of habit and all. Jace took a moment to comprehend the question back, wondering if he'd been unclear with his question. Perhaps, he should elaborate more? He thought, these healers were ready and armed to answer any questions that are directly related to Healing. The Ravenclaw nodded, shuffling his feet. "Well, yes. I plan to pursue a career in Curse-Breaking, and I came here to get information if I should get other miscellaneous vaccines prior to my admission to university?" Jace tilted his head, eyeing the booth that was manned by his former professor. "I mean, I could ask them, but I thought it would be best to come to the professionals regarding medical concerns. I'd like to get these vaccinations before I apply to my choice of university." Jace wanted that thing over and done with so he could concentrate right away on other important matters like lodging, schedules...even scholarships should he qualify.

| YesJess! | Captain Goggles | Mama Badger | Eva's Soul Sister | An OG™ | It's all in the Numbers While waiting for students to come up and approach her about the healing field, Amelia had to admit she was slightly surprised by the lack of students interested in this table. Or perhaps they hadn't made their way over here yet? She smiled though at Vanessa, who talked about Hattie being a a sixth year and wanting to study the creative arts. "Wow, time certainly flies. I still can't believe that my kids are Hogwarts graduates already." Before she knew it, her grandson would be starting Hogwarts. Merlin, that was weird.
First to approach though, was someone that Amelia recognized vaguely, as having been to watch Savannah's kids play in under seventeen matches last summer. He was a chaser, if she recalled correctly, and apparently Vannie knew his name even. Not surprising, considering Vannie actually had Hogwarts-aged kids. She listened as her table-mate spoke to Apollo addressing his concerns of how to become a healer. "I think the important thing with becoming a healer is that there's many schools out there for it, so it's just to make sure it has a solid clinical background. I wanted to concentrate more on sports medicine, so I needed to make sure I was close proximity to sports teams. I actually worked closely with the Kenmare Kestrals during my program." Having siblings play for them was definitely ace in helping her. "Do you know, maybe, what area you want to concentrate on? If not, I think a larger program such as one in London, that has a variety of options available would be better suited."
The next student (Jace) was curious because he wasn't ... interested in healing, but wanted to know about vaccine requirements for university?? "Different universities have different requirements and while the dragon pox one is a good start, it's generally best to wait until after you know where you're going before completing the vaccine requirements." At least that was her two knuts on the matter.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Solana Selwyn Slytherin Fifth Year Hogwarts RPG Name: Selene Diana Evans Ravenclaw Seventh Year | You three! Snow Miser | Munchy | Molly Hooper | T | Hey, you | Phantom | Mrs. Chris Evans | Brat Pack | Tristalen Apollo turned as he saw another boy approach the booth and he gave him a nod as he saw who it was once he had gotten close. He knew Jace vaguely through various connections, one being his distant cousin was best friends with him. He casually wondered if he knew that she was actually in St.Mungos right now, but decided not to bring it up. This wasn’t the time nor the place for a discussion such as that. He gave him a retuning smile and nod before turning back to the first healer who talked to him.
He smiled at Vannie and nodded, “Yes, that is right,” He said softly, he recognized her from his stay in St.Mungos, also he had seen her various times before, when he had gone to visit his mother while she had been working. A weight felt like it had been placed on his chest as he thought of his mother, but he took a deep breath and instead focused on what she was telling him. “I do want to work at St.Mungos, So London seems to be a good option then? ” He asked as he looked up at her. “Is there a list of requirements that are specially for the healer program?” He asked curiously as tilted his head a bit, he wanted to make sure he was taking all the right classes.
He turned towards Amelia and smiled as she spoke. “At the current moment, I’m not sure what I want to specialize in, but I think I want to focus more on physical injuries instead of magical?” Broken bones, and the like.. |

| Question for you both :3 Kimothée Chalamet • The UWU Agenda • Once Baby, Now Trouble • All Growed Up A lot of adults would say it was never too early think about what career to pursue in the future. But now that he was a first year, Drewett felt that knowing which jobs were interesting was somehow a good idea. At least he would know which jobs would suit him when he was of age, which was still years from now. Aside from that, his curiosity got the best of him as he found himself wandering into the Great Hall.
The first booth that really captured his eye was the Aurors one, and honestly, it was a bad time for him to remember his mum and dad. So yes, he was going to avoid that booth. It brought some rather painful memories. Drew walked around for a bit, paying attention to the various items in display. Eventually, he went towards the booth where two lady healers were stationed. It felt... better here, as it could hopefully help him avoid the number of students flocking the Aurors booth. "G-good day, ma'am... ma'am," he said, offering both women a shy but genuine smile.
Drew pulled a pamphlet towards him and took a moment to read. He figured maybe it would be helpful to at least know how to treat certain injuries, right? It was practical. "I-I have.... s-some questions...." the eleven year old said, carefully folding the paper and tucking it inside his jacket's pocket for further reading some time later. "D-do healers have s-specializations? A-and... I... I was c-curious... if yes, w-what are some of t-them?" he asked, trying his best not to stutter, but it always happens. It was rather disappointing. But nevertheless, he was too curious to have time to blame himself.

| Jedi Master•General Iroh•Java Junkie• King ♛ Stefan •Mycroft Holmes•Dragon Lord•Druid Boy Ah. Now, that made sense...however, Jace thought it'll be a lot efficient if the different departments in the University already had this information ready. He thought it will help the hopefuls like him to get one requirement over and done with while waiting for acceptance letters. The Ravenclaw nodded in understanding and gave Apollo a fleeting glance when he asked about specializations. That word triggered another question for the future curse-breaker...or auror. Since he has an uncle who is a Healer, he knew they had all sorts of specializations, sadly, none of it sparked an interest in him. Since the question was directed to Healer Amelia, Jace turned his attention once more to Healer Vanessa. "As a healer, what kind of healing magic do I need to learn if I become a curse-breaker? I know that I will be exposed to different levels of dark magic when I start my practice...so, I thought it will be a clever choice to take up a minor in Healing?" Again, he didn't want to limit himself to just one discipline here. If he can be the modern renaissance man, he was more than willing to take on the challenge.
Without looking, Jace did a small side-step to make room for another tiny human being, Drew. He'd seen this kid around the Common Room, so he knew he was from his house. The seventh-year gave the first year a friendly grin and sort of encouraged him to ask them all the questions.

She'd known what she wanted to do ever since her grandfather had passed and the need to be successful at it, to pursue healing, was strong. It trumped playing Quidditch and her new love of acting. Really, it was all she could see herself doing and now she just needed to go out and, well, do it.
Seeing the small crowd surrounding the table, the sixth year slipped into the pack quietly and offered a smile to those already in attendance. Some of the students were already asking questions she was curious to hear the answers to so she stayed quiet for now. Quiet and attentive.

Spying the Healing booth, Emmalyn stepped up and took a look around. “Good day” she greeted and smiled at the booth attendants. “So, you both are healers? I bet that’s an exciting job and you get to see all sorts of neat injuries and illnesses.” She wondered how different magical kids were injured compared to muggle kids. Falling off your broom had to be worse than falling off your bike. “Are you able to heal everything?” she had no idea how it worked. She was familiar with muggle medicines and first aid. Her mother was a school nurse and had dealt with a lot of bumps and bruises, minor illnesses, and a lot of hurt feelings. Her mum would show her how by practicing on her dolls, but that was years ago.
She held out her arm, showing a scratch on her elbow. “Are you able to fix this?” It wasn’t bad, or even bleeding anymore, but it she sure would like for it to be gone before her next quidditch game. Her team uniform rubbed it and made it sting.
