Located at the top of a spiral staircase and just to the right are the Gryffindor girls' dormitories. Rooms are assigned according to year, and each door is marked with a wooden plaque. Room assignments are as follows:

Each room is home to several cozy four poster beds with gold sheets and pillows and a bright red velvet covering. There are matching red silk curtains that can be drawn to give the occupants a bit of privacy. Each bed has its own nightstand, and, in keeping with the Gryffindor element of fire, the rooms are lit with magical flames in fireproof, shatterproof jars.

Thirsty? A mini fridge stocked with bottles of water sits in one corner of each room. You may even find a midnight snack in there somewhere!

Please remember that this is the girls dorm, in other words NO BOYS ALLOWED! But just in case, the staircase is bewitched to turn into a slide should anyone get any ideas.

This was the worst of times, and Faith felt like she had just committed the most heinous of crimes. She was supposed to be the Pride of the Pride and now she was just the Ultimate Disappointment. She'd let in fifteen goals. FIFTEEN. The whole of Gryffindor House had been counting on her and she let them down. She let them down and she would never forgive herself for this. Not now, not ever.

You just weren't supposed to let the people who were counting on you down, okay? It was just not something a Gryffindor did. They were supposed to be brave and valiant and heroes. Faith didn't feel much like a hero. She felt very much like the opposite. What was the opposite of hero? Oh yeah, a villain. She was the villain of Gryffindor and everyone hated her and wanted her dead - that way they'd have a better keeper.

These thoughts were very much upsetting her even more than she was already upset, and the newly-blonde-again lioness trudged miserably up to her dorm before anyone started looking for her so they could decapitate her. She needed to be alone for a moment before her public execution.

And to remind herself why she deserved this shame, this humiliation, she took her rejection letter from the English U17 team out and stared blankly at it for a while. Maybe she shouldn't have lied and told Zoryn that she hadn't tried out - maybe then she'd replace her with a better player.

Zoryn Amari Spinnet was absolutely gutted. She, too, felt like the exact opposite of a hero. Of course she had stayed for the end of the game to (spitefully) congratulate the Ravenclaw team on their victory before running to her thinking spot just at the edge of the grounds, in front of the forbidden forrest.

That's where she liked to cry, NOT THAT SHE HAD BEEN CRYING!!! Zoryn was FINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sort of.

Well anyway, she hadn't been out there for too long before deciding that she hated being sad. They were still the best team at this WHOLE school and one bad day couldn't change that!!!! Well no, she was still upset. BUT she had come to the realization that as captain, she had to be there for her team. It all came back to that stuff she talked to Faith about.

The S-word.

Selfish.

Zoryn Spinnet was NOT gonna be selfish today. She was gonna throw Gryffindor a party. A victory party for the BEST TEAM even if they were the losing team. Take that, Siya!

The Gryffindor marched into the dormitory and walked to her bed, popping her head underneath to grab some of the decorations she had for their--

"........ Faith?"

Her best friend's presence hadn't registered in her head right away, but just as soon as she had popped her head under the bed she moved right back out. "S'okay, you know? We're still the best team," the fourth year immediately dropped her party plans and put them on hold, instead moving towards Faith and wrapping her arms around the girl.
