The term is underway at Hogwarts -- attend classes, explore the castle, and more!Welcome to the Hogwarts RPG School Chat! Once again, it is that time of the year when another term passes and a new one begins. Let's wave goodbye to the Term 46 chat thread and say hello to the shiny new chat thread for Term 47. 
It is now time for your eager student to board the train back to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, their home away from home for the next nine months. I'm sure everyone is ready to head back to school, even after the strange events that occurred just months ago. Will this term bring something even more stressful than an international magical competition? Will student lives be put at risk once more? Or will there finally be a quiet year at Hogwarts?
This thread is for all participating members of the Hogwarts role-play to chat, speculate, offer their character to play with, and more!

Haha!! Lux was big on that honorary stuff.  She was SO happy when Bentley made her an honorary Lion. And then sad when Flammy didn't let her go into the common room.  Quote:

You're like the ORIGINAL RESORT I think, because i wasn't here when you were a Slytherin the first time and resorting wasn't even technically "a thing" in 2005, I actually thought it didn't become a thing until like 2010? o.o Hehe, that's one of the problems I always had with the fast timeline. XD It makes things better generally, but I often get confused about timing and then remember that it's further along than I initially thought.
Probably. But so fun! I love playing my few Gryffindor adults, but I can imagine the kids being a lot more of a handful. What with youth and hormones. Well, LUX did. ;D Lately I see myself more as a Ravenpuff. I'm embracing my nerdiness. 
I'm pretty sure you're right about that give or take a year. It was definitely well established by the time I properly came back to the RP at the start of 2014 with Lux. Also I remember Dee (Gryffindoll) telling me that she had originally been a Hufflepuff and managed to be resorted into Gryffindor by some fluke or glitch (don't know much about it), and that also had to have been before it became official.

I am so glad I'm not the only one who thought the IC/OOC class timings were different! Probably because I've been away that I didn't notice it before. I do kind of miss the "good morning class, I'm so & so" intro lessons etc.... but I can see why this way works better generally.
