The term is underway at Hogwarts -- attend classes, explore the castle, and more!Welcome to the Hogwarts RPG School Chat! Once again, it is that time of the year when another term passes and a new one begins. Let's wave goodbye to the Term 46 chat thread and say hello to the shiny new chat thread for Term 47. 
It is now time for your eager student to board the train back to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, their home away from home for the next nine months. I'm sure everyone is ready to head back to school, even after the strange events that occurred just months ago. Will this term bring something even more stressful than an international magical competition? Will student lives be put at risk once more? Or will there finally be a quiet year at Hogwarts?
This thread is for all participating members of the Hogwarts role-play to chat, speculate, offer their character to play with, and more!

(I know exactly what you mean, darling! Everyone will have a different idea in mind because obviously none of our educational backgrounds are the same! It's just something extra that's fun for me, like when I was a kid I associated school subjects with Magic ones, i.e. Chemistry = Potions, Maths = Arithmancy. I was such a nerd.  )

If you are making the schedule just for you, be my guest. Just know that your head canon is not going to be the same as everyone else's. I'm sure there are a lot of ideas and head canons out there that can make things overwhelming. It's why, here on SS, we never had a schedule -- it wasn't really needed and we all just went with the flow because classes are set up differently here (we all know they would look much different and need a more detailed schedule in reality though). All we can really do is go off of what's in the books -- even then it's a mess -- and just wing it from there.
If this is something many members are interested in though, the staff team primarily / others with permission to help should be producing an official one for everyone's reference here on SS. It'll help prevent numerous headcanon schedules from conflicting with each other. Just my two knuts.

For me it's just a bit of fun to work out the logistics in my head, kind of like when I was at school and changed my timetable to say magical classes. (But like I said, I'm top nerd and actually liked school). It's not something I'm saying should be cannon or needs to happen, just something I enjoyed doing because I have way too much free time and am desperate to go back to uni lol.
