"Right, fifteen." Luci was first thinking they would all this in one, but probably didn't make sense if each, in an exam or something would have to do it alone. Complete panic.

Luci followed Miranda's suggestions and grinned. "You're quite skilled at this. Thank you, girls." She said, as she carefully put the betony leaves in the bowl and continued cutting the last three...There, finished.

"Yes, let's get going!" Luci nodded, while cleaning up the area they had used to collect their ingredients.

Well Derf was in charge of the wet and the hot stuff now. It WAS aquatic, Char could see that now they were close enough to the little pond. That was interesting because she knew there were plenty of different kinds of stargrass and some were terrestrial but the aquatic one was much prettier. She nodded at his logic about grabbing enough and gave him a thumbs up too.

Leaves were in her pocket. Whole leaves, not pieces (and they should stay whole in her pocket, right?) and they had.... lots of damp stargrass, and a bucket of fireseeds -which was still hot, thanks to her totally on purpose test- and that was it, right?

What even was all this stuff FOR? Charlotte mused on it. She'd had Betony in stuff before when she hadn't been feeling well but she wasn't so sure about the others.

"Okay, lets go." She hustled her awesome partner out and then led the way back down to the dungeon level.

Okay. So Vivian was definitely shocked to see an indoor garden here at Hogwarts. But what bothered her was the fact that she had never knew of its existence. Had she not explored the castle enough to note that there was a garden by the hospital wing? It blew her mind. Guess she needed to roam around more. She made a mental note to do so while patrolling the corridors later on during her shift.

Finally arriving at the herbal garden, which just so happened to be near Healer Reed's place, Vivian found it amusing that their Healer-turned-Professor would mark this as one of the places for his ingredients hunt. "That's stargrass..." The prefect was sure of it. Herbology was her strongest subject, after all! And her mum probably had some of those at home, too. "And those are betony leaves!" Yup, positive about it!

"Shall I collect the leaves? And you collect the stargrass, Miss Etta?" Would be faster and easier, the blond thought. She looked at her watch just to make sure they weren't going to run late.

WOO! They'd successfully gathered the needed ingredients and could finally be on their way back to the classroom... Not that she liked it much down in the cool damp dungeons. She didn't understand why her brothers liked it so much down there.. To her it was creepy and uncomfortable.

" Thanks, Luci... I'm always reading and I've picked up some helpful knowledge here and there", Miranda said with a bright smile. " Brilliant...
Let's go then."

Etta was just as shocked as they entered the healer's garden. She'd never really visited the area either.. but it was rather beautiful. She obviously needed to spend more time exploring the castle. She stood, looking around for a long moment. Just when she was about to point out the necessary ingredients to her friend, Vivi already spoke. She nodded in agreement, glad that they were completely in sync.

"Of course!" It would be easier and faster for them to collect each ingredient, yeah? She went over quickly and started to gather the plant very carefully, already starting to worry about the time. Eeeek. Were they late already?!

Vivian took another look at her watch. Still a few minutes, she wanted to believe. "We got this, Miss Etta! We can do it," she said, as a way of encouraging the Hufflepuff despite the time constraints. She knew they'd get this done either way. They were a great duo! However, they had potions ingredients to collect... and a class to get back to with just a few minutes to spare.

The blond then went over to a Betony plant and kneeled down to get a better view of it. Just to double check. Those definitely were betony leaves, she was sure. The prefect then started clipping some, collecting fifteen of those leaves too. She knew it was more than necessary, but it wouldn't hurt to take an extra few for those students who weren't able to find some. "We need five each of these leaves, yeah?" To be sure, again. Merlin, she wasn't planning on running all the way back here had she gotten it wrong.

Ok he had to laugh at that. "You're giving me ideas on what password we could have for April." Imagine Gryffindors trying to say the scientific name and the Fat Lady refusing them entry because they keep messing up. Perfect April fools joke eh?

He picked out a handful of Stargrass onto his collection bowl, measuring it carefully then sealing the container with a shield charm. Just as he was finishing this, it sounded like Vi spotted the Betony leaves that they needed to collect next. Relieved that he doesnt have to contort his eyeballs again to read those labels. He followed her to that section of the garden, collected the 5 pieces of Betony leaves onto another bowl and sealed that up as well.

All set? "Yep! Onto the fireseed hunt!"

Oh boy, was she unfit. 30 minutes was not enough time to do anything, least of all run up and down the flights of moving stairs. Dahlia bent over to catch her breath when they finally reached the Healer's Garden. She noticed several other students had obviously had the same idea she had, and were busy wandering around and collecting the final ingredients. Which meant she could cheat a little and just follow them. Considering she didn't know what Betony Leaves actually looked like, it was just as well.

"Hey, shall we grab some each?" She turned to Patrick and pointed towards the containers. They needed some team work to get the seeds, but this time they could really pick their own, she figured. Or one of them could go for the grass and the other the leaves. Double the number again, just in case.

Etta was already busy collecting stargrass, making sure that she had a little more than required. It was better that they had more than end up falling short, yeah? The girl stood up, eyeing the plant in her hand before heading over to where Vivi was. "Is this plenty enough or do you think we require more?"

.. But then just then, Vivi had a question of her own. Etta nodded confidently. "Yeah, five leaves." At least, as far as she could remember. She wished they'd noted it down before exploring the castle for the activity. Oops. It was too late to regret that mistake now. Just five minutes to go! Yeah, no. They shouldn't be too late, hopefully.

30 minuets was running faster than he thought was absoluteltly possible. He followed Dahlia into the Healer's Garden and looked at the plants. "I'll grab the grass and you grab the leaves?" He figured it wouldn't be that hard to get the grass picked.

He separated from Dahlia hoping that they would get back to the potions room with plenty of time. He watched as the other students appeared to know what they were doing and followed their lead. Next thing he knew he was waiting on Dahlia to pick her leaves so they could hurry back to the potions room.

Leaves. Leaves. Leaves. Leaves. Yep. Dahlia nodded and rushed over to what she was assuming were the Betony leaves, and started grabbing handfuls of them. She shuffled them in her hands and counted them to make sure she had enough for them both, before turning and skipping back to Patrick. "Got 'em. I think we've got about 5 minutes to get back to class! We need to be quick."

Without running, obviously. She had no wish to lose any point just because they were a bit behind. Checking they had everything they needed, Dahlia scuttled out the room and back towards class, hoping they weren't late.

Mr. Healer should assign them scavenger hunts waaay more often. This was more interesting than sitting around brewing the things anyway. Emmeline trudged along behind her classmates as they went in search of their last two ingredients; they had already collected fireseeds from the library. The rest of the mystery was super easy, 'cause all she had to do was follow the biiig crowd of students to the indoor garden by the hospital wing. Thank Merlin! Emmeline had been a little worried that they'd have to go outside to the greenhouses or something annoying like that to find the missing ingredients; she hadn't really paid that much attention to the instructions.

But maybe this scavenger hunt wouldn't be so easy after all, 'cause none of the plants had normal names; they all had weird, long, scientific name on their labels. The second year heaved a biiiig sigh and pulled her Potions textbook out of her bag. An older student had taught her how to use indexes in books last term, so it she hoped it wouldn't be too hard to look up betony leaves and Stargrass in her textbook. Sure enough, she was able to find information on and a picture of betony leaves pretty easily in the Potions book. So now it was just time to search, mhm.

It took Emmeline like ten minutes to weave in and out of the crowd of students searching for their own ingredients and staring intently at every green, leafy plant she came across before she finally found the betony leaves she was looking for. The Gryffindor withdrew some tools and stuff from her bag and managed to collect and store the required amount of leaves -- times three, 'cause she was getting some for Mr. Henry and Stasya too.

Then it was time to open up her Potions textbook again to look up Stargrass. Finding it in the book was easy, but finding it in real life was wayyy harder. There were just too many plants in this garden that looked like they could be what she was looking for, but then turned out NOT to be 'cause they had the wrong scientific names or something. 'Cept by now, she was almost out of time before she had to be back in the dungeons. Emmeline shuffled from plant to plant in the garden for like ever before she finally was able to find and collect the Stargrass. Clutching her ingredients, she turned to grin at her classmates and walk caaaarefully back to the dungeons. She really didn't want to drop any of this stuff and have to come back after all.
